We've Got This Thing | Astrology Forecast for Creatives | Week of April 6th

OK, let's see what we've got happening. We are working through the releasing energy of eclipse season. We need to be focusing on the 'new'. This doesn't have to be a big, bold thing. We gently turn away from the old (the stuff that isn't working - tie up loose ends now) and maybe we take some small step toward the new.

We show up and focus on our new direction.

Let's take a look at some daily aspects (we might feel these a couple days before or after those listed since this is mostly outer planet stuff). Pluto will station to go retrograde on the 16th and we have the New Moon in Aries (new astrological year) on the 18th - that is when these transits finally finish up. YAY!

On Monday we've got the Sun and Uranus having lunch at the exact same degree of "action Jackson" Aries. This is a trumpet call to embrace our ORIGINALITY. There is awakening energy here. Uranus rules technology, humanitarian efforts and bold new ideas so anything we are hatching that fits in these categories gets a big PUSH today. This is excellent energy for brainstorming. Yes, things may need to be tweaked when we come back down to Earth, but there is lots of energy here to FIRE everyone up.

The Moon is in Scorpio with an opposition to Taurus so we can get to the HEART of a love or money matter now.

(okay enough caps - that was kind of fun though)

There is a square to Pluto in Capricorn, so authority figures might drag us back to earth (this authority figure thing lasts most of the week) or someone in power might be less than totally open to our BIG ideas. We'll deal with that. Mars is quincunx Saturn so this is really about us getting out of our own way. Think BIG (sorry last cap I PROMISE☺). No one puts baby in a corner. We've got this thing.

We also have the last couple days of a retrograde Jupiter in Leo bringing last minute second looks at past opportunities.

Tuesday has a couple squares (think challenges) so maybe something about our commitment to our goal is wavering or something just feels very uphill and maybe even very uphill and pulling a Hummer. We might find something to be angry about today. We've been through craziness with these Uranus/Pluto squares and recent eclipses and the energy is still draining us, so let's not look too far ahead and get all worn out before we even get started. We'll just focus on the work that needs to get done today. We've still got this thing.

Remember when Jupiter went into Leo and we got all excited about having the planet of expansion in such a firey and creative sign - then she went down for a nap and napped for four months, well she's waking up Wednesday. The Moon moves into Sagittarius trine the Sun so lots of positive energy with that, too. With Mercury in Aries (bold communication) and a direct Jupiter in Leo lots of people will be feeling a renewed enthusiasm. Remember that space of Leo in our chart we talked about a few months ago - that space is going to be moving forward now. If we have any planets 12-22 degrees Leo (or any fire sign) things could get especially lucky for us - if we are willing to take a bit of a risk.

Jupiter is trine Uranus in Aries. This combination of luck and innovation could put us in the right place at the right time. If something seems to just come out of nowhere, we'll just go with it and see where it takes us. If there is something in that Leo house that felt a bit too risky before, now could be our time. We've still got this thing.

On Thursday Pallas Athene (ruler of craft) moves into Capricorn (ruler of business). This offers us the opportunity to create a more solid structure with our work. There might be some aspect of what we are making that we take back to the drawing board but it's only to make it better and more sustainable. There is precision with this. This is also a great day for organization and planning. If we need to see a chiropractor this would be a good day for that, too.

Olive is having surgery and I think the vet's precision and wisdom will be excellent plus Pallas Athene gave the Greeks the gift of the Olive tree - a doubly good sign for sweet Olive, I believe. We've got this thing.

On Friday the Moon moves into Capricorn so our happiness and sense of well being will increase when we do things that give us a sense of self-respect. There is a square to Mercury with this so we might not get what we want here. It's OK, it's Friday after all and SPRING.

We've still got this thing.

xo all

Hey Cat! I hadn't read all the way to the bottom of this until now, hope Olive is okay!

We had to put our sweet friend Frank down on Tuesday. It came suddenly, but in a way, not so much... he was 16 years old, but had such an adventure for life up until the very end. I shouldn't be typing this here...

Just trying to hang in there and get back on track. Oh gosh, I hope you'll report that Olive is okay!!

xoxo

Oh Janell - I am so sorry to hear about Frank. I am sure he had a wonderful life with you - it is so, so hard. Olive had some bloodwork issues and we had to delay the surgery. I might look for another doctor because they can't get her back in until mid May. Do you have a picture of Frank online? xo

Are you on Instagram?

there are a few pics of Frank there. I'm not much of a smart phone person, but it's making me want to get a new phone with a better camera so I can randomly snap pictures of things more often. It's been heart warming to look at the so many many pictures hubby has taken over the years - good thing photography is one of his hobbies.

You and Olive are in my thoughts!!

xoxo
