Astrology Forecast for Creatives | Week of March 18th - Happy New Year, exposure, action, courage, relationship imbalances, owning our projections, tension, unexpected opportunities, uncomfortable changes, thinking things through, keep our eyes on the skies

HUGE happenings in the week ahead as we shift into a BRAND NEW YEAR :

WEDNESDAY - Spring Equinox- Sun into Aries, Mars trines Pluto, Full Moon in Libra, Mercury sextiles Saturn
THURSDAY - Venus squares Mars and sextiles Jupiter
SUNDAY - Mercury retrograde conjuncts Neptune

The post for the Full Moon/Spring Equinox is HERE

The astrological New Year kicks off this week with a powerful, prosperous chart that sets up the year ahead.

With the rulers of the Full Moon (Libra/Venus and Aries/Mars) at odds with each other now (and part of the New Year chart) - we will face conflict and challenges as we try to balance what we want with what we have to do to get what we want. Growth will come through our relationships. Buckle up.

On WEDNESDAY, the Sun moves into Aries giving us the Spring Equinox and launching the astrological Solar Year. The illuminating Sun will conjunct hurting/healing Chiron, so a weakness could be exposed now or maybe we are feeling unsupported or all alone in whatever we have going on. It's a time to be brave.

The good news - Mars is trining deep, transformative Pluto. We have the available resources/self-esteem to power through this thing.

This transformation won't be stopped. It will be life-changing. We are either in the thick of it now or it is coming. We'll keep moving.

The Libra Moon moves into a fast opposition with the Aries Sun giving us this month's Full Moon (a zero degree Full Moon, so another lunar ending and beginning rolled into one!). Full Moons bring things to light, to a culmination or to a conclusion.

This is the Aries/Libra polarity. Too much Aries and we get selfishness, anger, foolish impulsivity, lots of fast starts and then nothing gets finished. Too much Libra and we get boundary issues, indecisive waffling, avoidance of conflict and co-dependency.

Relationship imbalances will show up now.

We need to really take a look at the disagreements and challenging situations we are having with others - what are we projecting onto other people that we need to take ownership of? Full moons are about release - how can we let go of what isn't working? Diplomacy, cooperation and balance will be needed as well as action, courage and staying aware/taking care of our own self-interests. Some relationships and partnership agreements might end now.

The Moon's inconjunct to Uranus could make things uncomfortable as changes might come at us 'fast and furious' style. The ground might feel shaky. There are unexpected opportunities here, too.

Mercury's sextile to Saturn could bring news/information that creates structure/stability. Maybe a sibling situation/local community issue or transportation issue stabilizes. Something REAL that was just a dream is being built. With Mercury in Pisces this brings 2019's best aspect - the Neptune/Saturn sextile (building the dream/the release of one thing to get something else) into the Equinox chart and again confirms its viability in the months ahead.

With Mercury still retrograde, we are re-viewing the stability of the dream, re-working our plans - giving something physical another look. Good energy for having a repeat conversation with an authority figure or stepping into your own authority via the written or spoken word. Challenging karma is dissolving. New neurological pathways are being created.

This sextile also gives us some space to THINK THINGS THROUGH.

We have a rare second Libra Full Moon next month in mid-April at 29 degrees, so there could be things started now that culminate then or maybe as we begin new partnerships/agreements now, others finish up in mid-April.

We'll see how this all shakes out. Keep moving forward.

On THURSDAY - and again this is part of the Full Moon chart and the chart of the Solar New Year so influencing the next 12 months - we have Venus squaring Mars and sextiling Jupiter.

Venus is what we want and Mars is how we get what we want. Sometimes they represent actual women and men. There is tension/frustration here. Relationship situations are testy. With Venus set up to win this one - being the ruler of Taurus (so Mars is answering to her) and with her moving through freedom-loving and future-leaning Aquarius - trying to fence someone else in or hold them back isn't going to work. Any effort to tap down on someone else's ability 'to just be themselves' will turn out equally poorly.

The sextile (opportunity) to Jupiter shows us the way through this - expanding our territory/reach/thinking, looking at the bigger picture, being more optimistic, embracing what is foreign to us, learning/teaching/travel. Stay flexible. Sagittarius is where the gold will be mined. There are real opportunities in this New Year chart.

This is collective energy and will affect all of us to a greater or lesser extent. You may find the themes more relatable to your own natal houses -

for example if you are a SCORPIO RISING - the challenge will be between your 4th house (Aquarius) home/family/real estate/mom/home business and your 7th house (Taurus) your partner's actions/maybe stubbornness/agreements. The opportunity/payoff comes through your 2nd house - positive progress with money/resources/values or self-esteem.

On SUNDAY, a retrograde Mercury will again meet Neptune - this time at 16 degrees Pisces, the degree Neptune met the Sun/Moon at the New Moon on March 6th, so more stuff this week connecting us back to early March when Mercury first stationed retrograde.

Mercury met Neptune back on February 19th - THIS WAS WHEN A MESSAGE CAME THROUGH - so something now connects us back to that.

We are going back over information/communications. Re-vising, re-kindling, re-leasing our dreams. Secrets are being talked about. We are communicating about the dream/spirituality/healing. Things could get confusing. It might be hard to know what is real. Words are slippery. It's not the best day to try and make sense of things .... this will all be much clearer in a couple weeks.

xo all

The week will really be fleshed out in the Full Moon post which will be up sometime Monday or Tuesday

Astrology Forecast for Creatives | Week of March 11th - optimism, over-confidence, stretched to our limit, a moment of clarity, putting in the effort, making the dream REAL, moving in the right direction, coming home to ourselves

sea-of-ice/art/worth-living-for-297341981

Some major aspects for the week ahead are:

WEDNESDAY - Sun square Jupiter, Sun sextile Pluto
THURSDAY - Sun conjunct Mercury (retrograde) and Mars trine Saturn, Mercury trine North Node
FRIDAY - Mercury (retrograde) square Jupiter
SATURDAY - Mercury sextile Pluto, Sun trine the North Node

Look at all the repeating patterns between the Sun and Mercury - there are REAL opportunities and a REAL need to not go too far over-the-top with anything!

Whatever this Mercury retrograde is for us, we are most certainly in the thick of it now.

On WEDNESDAY, the Sun (in Pisces) will square Jupiter (in Sagittarius)

- and then on Friday, a retrograde Mercury will follow in the Sun's footsteps and square Jupiter, too

(imagine Ginger Rogers following Fred Astaire, but doing it all backwards and in high heels - poor Mercury!).

There is optimism and hope here, but also the potential for something to be exaggerated. Things could seem better (or worse) than they actually are.

There could be CONFIDENCE that is out-of-proportion to the situation. There could be BIG potential here, but we are looking right into the light now and it is blinding us. Maybe we are stretched to our personal limit with something. Maybe we have taken on too much. It will pay to keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde. A situation is being re-worked. Let's think about what we are doing. Let's measure twice and cut once. Let's take our time.

At the same time the Sun is sextiling (opportunity) Pluto giving gravity and depth - maybe even a feeling of life and death - to whatever the Sun is bringing to light. This could be truth, something we have uncovered/researched. Issues of control/power can come to light, too. We are bringing something powerful up from the depths and out of the shadows.

Sextiles bring opportunity, but between earth and water - this isn't something that is going to fall into our laps - this will take effort. Think about the way plants bloom over time as they are irrigated with water. The payoff comes through an established routine. Sun/Pluto is a powerful creative force.

On THURSDAY, Mars is trining (brakes off) stable and sober Saturn (in Capricorn). This is solid efforts that pay off over time. Mars won't be rushed through Taurus and Saturn wants the job done right and the rules followed. Our efforts click things into place. Mars is going to trine Pluto at the Spring Equinox (March 20th, part of a very impactful Kite aspect at that time) on 2020's powerful 22 degrees.

So our action/initiative/passion (how much do you want it?) is laying the groundwork for next week (and the future!) this week.

At the same time the Sun meets a retrograde Mercury - here is CLARITY.

And although Mercury is retrograde - there is some kind of fresh start (that might connect back to January 29th- the last time these two met). At the same time Mercury is trining the North Node in Cancer - information, conversation, thinking - that slides us onto the path we have come here intending to travel. Pay attention to what you hear now. We might be feeling exposed and vulnerable now, but probably this very feeling is part of the process. We are moving toward something REAL. We are coming home to ourselves.

On FRIDAY, Mercury will square Jupiter - we talked about this on Wednesday with the Sun - news can be over-the-top. It will be too easy to over-promise or maybe someone else is promising us roses and chocolate when all they are really carrying are a few dried up poinsettias and that awful white-chocolate that tastes like nothing.

Someone could be doing too much TALKING/preaching. Let's make sure it isn't us.

The details could be glossed over and keep in mind Mercury is in Pisces for pete's sake. Things are not quite as they seem anyway and now she/he is squaring Jupiter. Meditate on it. Pray on it. Let things settle down. Appreciate the optimism/hope, just realize there might be rose-colored glasses involved now.

Mercury is retrograde. He/she (as us) is going to walk through these same aspects again when direct in April. There is no need to rush because we are going to do this all again anyway and next time we get to be Fred and not Ginger and we will be wearing sturdier shoes.

On SATURDAY, Mercury is going to sextile Pluto (just like the Sun did on Wednesday) and the Sun is going to trine the North Node (just like Mercury did on Thursday). Are you confused yet? I hope not, because I am going to need you to explain this to me or I am going to need another cup of coffee. And it's too late for coffee. With the Sun trining the North Node pay attention to what comes to your attention now/who you meet, etc - your future is calling - if someone invites you to go somewhere, this would be the time to GO.

One thing is certain - much energy is focused on our Pisces houses and our collective Pisces themes - our past, our ancestors, what is hidden or put away or done behind the scenes, secrets, the ethereal realms, imagination, hospitals, spirituality, addiction, healing.

Maybe something we have been avoiding looking at will come into focus. Our self-sabotaging tendencies might be right in our face. Cords are being cut all over the place folks.

Keep in mind, with Mercury retrograde stuff is still in flux. If you can't put a "re" in front of what you are doing (revise, repair, renovate, release, revision) - it might not be the best time to be doing it!

Also keep in mind the IMPORTANT Mars/Saturn trine, because this energy pulls this week into our 2019 "building the dream/releasing one thing to get something else", we have been talking about - this is in play all week and taking us into the Libra Full Moon and the Spring Equinox.

Mars in Taurus can get kind of lazy and we need to take some practical action this week.

And read MARCH 10TH-15TH in the monthly post HERE.

I think I was a little more clear headed then!

xo all

We will flesh the week out daily with the Moons - this will all start to make more sense! And I will have a post this week about my own previous heavy Neptune transits that might be helpful this month.

New Moon in Pisces | March 6th, 2019 - a vision of what we hold sacred, concrete support for the dream, divine inspiration, letting go of attachments, releasing expectations, the present of staying present, resistance is futile, watering our own roots

On Wednesday at 11AM EST, we have the Pisces Moon meeting the Pisces Sun at 15 degrees.

This is a HUGE week because we also have Mercury stationing retrograde and Uranus ingressing into Taurus all within a few hours!

We have important (and tricky!) transits playing out this month, that will have an impact for a long time to come. How we use a transit - positively or negatively - will reverberate to other areas of our chart (and life) - CHANGING the experience of subsequent transits. With Pisces especially, this can all work backwards, too. Changes we experience now impact our past, past lives and previous generations. Can we water our own roots? Oh yes, we can!

What house does mid-degree Pisces reside in your natal chart? What is the theme of that house?

Let's unpack the New Moon chart.

Mercury is retrograde in Pisces now, so this New Moon beginning might have a connection to something from the past.

The Sun and Moon are conjunct Neptune and Vesta and sextiling Saturn (activating this year's Saturn/Neptune sextile!).

Vesta is our devotional energy. She is considered (by astronomers) a dwarf planet, like Pluto - ack! We associate Vesta with the Vestal Virgins of ancient Rome. Charged from childhood (age 7-10) with keeping the sacred hearth of the temple burning, the Vestal Virgins were supposedly also required to remain chaste for their 30 year careers.

In recognition of their unending devotion to the flame (working round the clock if needed) that kept their civilization alive, and I assume their devotion to their own purity, they were given the unique freedom of being "un-owned" by men.

Vesta gives us a certain reverence and attachment to what we hold sacred. She is capable of sustaining incredible focus. Because she has no earthly attachments, her duty is to a higher authority.

What stays safe and protected is what she pays attention to.

At this New Moon she sits next to Neptune - the planet of our dreams and inspiration, but whose unbounded energy has been known to lack focus and drift off course.

Vesta will provide the focus as opposed to the usual Neptunian scatter. And at the same time Neptune (as us) will provide Vesta (as us) with something inspirational to focus on!

Neptune/Pisces rules our collective 12th house where there is no separation between us and everything else. There is no time. There is no space. This is where we find God/spirit/the Universe.

The positive expressions of Piscean energy include - connection, imagination, music, art, empathy, compassion, healing, spirituality, transcendence of the physical world. The negative expressions of any energy are really the positive expressions taken to an extreme. So imagination becomes delusion/lies, empathy become martyrdom, transcendence (lack of physical connection) becomes addiction, escapism, mental illness. Pisces is the last house - it rules endings and the things we do last. Because the 12th house is behind the 1st house (our physical self) - it rules what is behind us, what is done behind our back, what we have put away, our past, the things we have forgotten, memory, our ancestors, sleep, charities, prisons, hospitals, illness.

We operate through both positive and negative expressions of every placement in our charts, but each placement and aspect was designed for a specific purpose. It is perfect for that purpose and nothing else will do. It also has less desirable side effects. Sometimes we get so caught up in the side effects, which we usually label as problems, we can't see the good stuff which comes most naturally to us!

The New Moon's sextile to sober and serious Saturn (in Capricorn) again speaks of universal assistance with stabilizing/grounding Neptune's energy - something solid is being built now. Something lasting. The energy with which we start something - and in Pisces we might not even know we are starting something (!) - impacts the process and the outcome.

Pisces is our mutable water sign - stuff is intended to flow. Nothing is really stable in Pisces. A Pisces New Moon can carry us into lala-land, but not this one!

Now we might feel like we are in lala-land because Mercury is going to be retrograding in Pisces until the end of the month, but this is actually part of the process of this year's productive and bountiful Saturn/Neptune sextile.

We won't know whether we are coming or going because we are coming AND going!

Instead of holding space for our dreams as we go through our day to day reality-based life, we are going to have to be holding space for REALITY now.

The New Moon's Neptune/Saturn contact will stimulate our favorite repeating transit this year - Saturn sextile Neptune - (exact on January 3rd with both planets direct, on June 18th with Saturn retrograde and on November 8th with Neptune retrograde). Our dreams (Neptune) can be supported/grounded (sextile) in reality (Saturn). Limits can be eroded. Keep in mind Saturn stuff builds over time and Neptune erodes over time - so patience may be required here. And keep in mind Saturn/Neptune aspects often involve a sacrifice/release - we have to willingly give up this, to get that.

Because we have Uranus moving into Taurus on the same day - he will play a role here, too.

This might indicate situations from when Uranus originally moved into Taurus last May are reinvigorated at this New Moon and also that whatever starts from this New Moon could last throughout Uranus's journey through Taurus or longer, so at least until 2026!

It likely indicates change will be sudden and could feel chaotic/ungrounding.

Whichever way the wind is blowing for us, this is an important New Moon.

We are going to set our New Moon intentions (please write them this month), but it is obvious stuff here is not going to be within our control. Uranus is unpredictable and growth often comes through disruption and in Taurus he will be disrupting some pretty important stuff! Neptune/Pisces rules the ethereal realms/spirit - there is no way we are controlling that! This is stuff that has been set in motion within us anyway, the dice have been tossed - the universe/life/God is better at getting everything to fall into place than we are!

With Mercury stationing retrograde in Pisces, just hours before, we are going to have to go with the flow here.

We are going to have to have faith.

And when stuff looks like it is slip-sliding away, and it might be, we are going to have to resist the urge to cling to it for dear life. We know something better, more authentically in line with WHO WE ARE NOW AND WHO WE ARE NEEDED TO BE - is coming.

We are going to have to remain devoted (Vesta) and give our highest intention our attention. What is your highest intention with what you are seeking? For example if you want to move, but what you really want is the new friends that you think will come with the move. Keep your focus on the new friends.

There will be work required - sweat equity, time, patience, responsibility (Saturn).

There will probably be a sacrifice/release/letting go (Neptune). And we might have to let go of exactly what we thought something was going to look like - our expectation - in order to reach what actually BELONGS TO US.

But something very important is being birthed in the dark now. It is real. It is already in play and it is being built to last.

*****

This moon is 15 degrees Pisces, affecting those born with planets at about 13-17 degrees of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) most strongly, but everyone is impacted.

This is an excellent time for energetic support to make changes with things ruled by Pisces (and your Pisces natal house theme!) including our imagination, compassion, releasing victim-hood, spiritual healing, sensitivity, trust, addictions, our lymphatic system, colds, our feet, toxicity.

Some affirmations that I have used in previous years for a Pisces New Moon include:

1. I easily relax my mind and body deeply at night for a minimum of seven hours of restful sleep.
2. All debilitating sensitivity is easily lifted from me.
3. I trust that everything that occurs in my life is working for my higher good.
4. I easily attract, recognize and begin attending the right yoga class for me.
5. I easily release the habit of procrastination.

(notice I always like to toss in the word "easily"!)

AFFIRMATION TIPS: get into a positive frame of mind - meaning both happy and certain - a quiet, clean space where you can be alone - write your affirmations down by hand in script, speak them out loud - for a watery New Moon I will write my affirmations on strips of paper and burn them, releasing the ashes into moving water - then let's release our attention from these things knowing that our intention is known.

Know these things are already yours.

Uranus into Taurus March 2019 by sign | changes that challenge our sense of security, shifts with our values and resources, new ways to make money, the ways our self-esteem connects to our benjamins will become more obvious, getting comfortable with being uncomfortable

https://www.deviantart.com/sea-of-ice/art/deliverer-209425037

Uranus moved into Taurus (after approx 84 years) back in May 2018 - note some of this post comes from that time frame. Then Uranus stationed retrograde and moved back into Aries.

On Wednesday, March 6, 2019 - he settles into Taurus for good, or at least the long haul (through 2026).

Now we have all the outer planets (Uranus in Taurus, Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces) settled into their pre-Pluto in Aquarius (2023 dystopia/utopia) placements.

It's like the final number is put into a combination padlock, the tumbler rolls and the lock opens.

Our natal Taurus houses are the spaces we probably do the least amount of innovation - this is our space of comfort that comes from complacency - the place we are usually willing to LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE. Uranus will confront us about our fixed position through people and situations that make us UNCOMFORTABLE. Sleeping dogs will not be allowed to lie - sleeping dogs will be awake and barking.

Old habits may die hard, but they can also die fast.

People with early degree Taurus placements (or planets/points in the very beginning degrees of the other fixed signs), a strong Taurus signature or a strong Uranus will likely feel this first. But, all of us will be impacted during Uranus's transit through Taurus (through 2026), collectively maybe right out of the gate with this week's strong energies!

People with planets and points in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) - which Uranus will conjunct, square and oppose - will likely be most impacted as our fixed positions get SHAKEN up.

Taurus is sextile (opportunity) our Cancer and Pisces points and planets and trine (brakes off) our Virgo and Capricorn planets and points. All those placements will be aided by the changes Uranus brings.

So let's say you are a Virgo Sun who wants to make some kind of major move, but has been hesitating for years, no doubt being a Virgo and noticing all the problems with such a venture, well, Uranus in Taurus could provide the change - the sliding into place here - that gets your ass moving.

Changes, likely something that challenges our sense of security, could start off with a BANG.

Uranus was last in Taurus from June 1934 to May 1942.

Taurus is that comfortable space in our chart we rely on to ALWAYS BE THE SAME (because it holds very precious stuff!) - Uranus - think "bull in a china shop" here - will likely be disruptive.

Something is probably going to get broken.

At the same time Uranus, who has been barreling through Aries for the last seven years - changing the way we see ourselves (please God no more selfies), changing the way we start things, the way we fight, masculinity, Aries things and the way we go about getting what we want - slides into the comfortable mud that is Taurus. Uranus moves from answering to Mars to answering to Venus!

Imagine a kindly old woman who likes to rise at dawn, have her tea on the terrace listening to the birds precisely at 8:00, then take a walk around the block where she will stop at the local bakery to purchase a hard roll, which she will test with her fingers for precisely the right amount of firmness, and eat for lunch at noon with a tomato she has picked from her garden. She naps at two on that same terrace with a book in her lap, has tea at four and dinner at eight. You get the idea.

Now imagine a rebellious teenager (and Uranus is no teenager - he was Saturn's father after all, but you can see where I am going with this), her grandson, moves in with our kindly old woman. He is a nice guy, too, in his own way, but doesn't think about things like time and routine and comfort. He does what he wants. And what he mostly wants to do are things he has never done before.

He will shake up her perfectly timed, comfy/cozy little world.

AND she will slow his down.

What can we expect in our own lives?

Well, since Uranus rules the new and unusual - we could expect newness with the things Taurus rules. New ways to make money, new ways to save, new ways to share, new ways to spend. Shifting financial markets - ups and downs. New values. The things we value will shift over the next seven years. Our self-esteem will shift. The way we hold onto things and the things we hold onto will shift. Changes with our food supplies. The way we care for our resources (including our precious planet) will shift. Earth changes/storms will be disruptive and chaotic.

Uranus rules freedom/liberation so freedom from our collective Taurean stuff - resources, possessions, values, money - is all on the table, too. I know! Ouch!

The events that will transpire, the situations we will face, the thoughts we will think, the actions we will take, the people we will meet - that facilitate these changes are laid out in our natal charts to some degree and are also dictated by our own free will.

This will be different for everyone.

But we are all on the same ride together.

Also, keep in mind, Uranus will operate differently while visiting stable Taurus. So we can flip this whole thing around. Uranian things become more stable. Groups and humanitarian causes can get more focused and establish stronger footings. Technology more comfortable. The things that were previously 'ahead of their time' can start to 'bring home the bacon' now. Revolution plotted and planned. Scientific advancement that aids the planet. Scientific advancement that aids the human body. Aliens could come to earth (!) and yes, I mean this exactly as it sounds, and also the flipside of this with human people exploring other planets in new ways, but just as likely more alien history is unearthed - maybe something that sets the official creation story on its ear even more.

All kinds of comfortable things will likely get less comfortable due to innovative/advanced movement. And all kinds of uncomfortable things, that have just been too far out there, will begin to get more comfortable.

Some changes we will welcome and some we won't.

So, our ability to be comfortable - to feel safe and stable - will be dependent to our ability to embrace CHANGE and instability.

Uranus (Aquarius) rules the group - he is the higher octave of Mercury - "the hive-mind".

Think about the power of that for a minute. Think about how THAT could get harnessed in stable, earthy Taurus and the amazing good that could come from that for Taurus ruled structures like our money (crypto or hopefully something less energy depleting isn't going away folks), our food supply, the way we OWN things because doesn't it often feel like the things end up owning us, the ways we earn a living, the ways we earn our self-esteem, what we think is valuable.

Now, we can also see how any one of these things can be taken too far. If we get too far into the "hive mind" and what is best for the group, this stuff can get downright badass scary, but let's not overthink this right now. This is a LONG transit, everything isn't going to happen this week!

My first astrology teacher was very Uranian. In the late 1980's she talked about the 2020's (she saw the Age of Aquarius as kicking off when the Mayan calendar ended in 2012) as the time when we would be talking to people anywhere on the planet at anytime without wires and telephones. She thought this would be telepathic and even used the word "net" to describe the process, but because we couldn't really picture, in those days, the inter-net and how we would all be "connected" she didn't know what she didn't know. That's how the future is. We can guess at the kinds of changes Uranus might bring, but we never really know until it happens.

When the planet Uranus was discovered science was taking over and humanity's connection to a living planet was tossed into a scrapheap called "superstition". We threw the baby out with the bathwater. Maybe with these two energies combining now - technology and a living, breathing planet - these energies, through us, can finally begin to work together to strengthen each other!

Think about our connection to energy - do we really think electricity has to move through wires? This is just the way it has been monetized. This could change now. Free energy IS a real possibility over the next few years and almost certainly will be a reality in the future. Thinking about what needs to break down to get us there is kind of scary though.

Let's take a brief look by sign - keeping in mind we can't pigeon-hole Uranus, folks. Check your rising and Sun signs.

THIS INFO IS UPDATED FROM A MAY 2018 POST:

ARIES/Aries Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 2nd house of money, your values, your resources and self-esteem. Maybe your job changes. Maybe you start a new business. Your income could be up and down. The way your money connects to your self-esteem will shift. The things you value will shift. These changes will play out over several years. Uranus will be opposing your 8th house of other people's resources, other people's values, intimacy, other people's money, spouse's income, loans, debts, taxes, inheritance, sex, reproduction, so expect changes there, too. The best news for you - Uranus is exiting your sign! Breathe Aries - the ways your life has been turned inside out since 2011 will start to stabilize. Freelance work and passive income will be more possible now if this is something you are working toward.

You are now charged with a once in a lifetime (and many people never get this!) opportunity to totally revamp the most visible part of your life dear Leo - what are you going to do with it?!

VIRGO/Virgo Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now or maybe that's when these changes started. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 9th house of travel, higher education, weddings, politics, legal issues, the media, publishing, foreigners, everything outside your comfort zone, exploration, your beliefs and higher thinking. This house harmonizes with your sign so these changes will be mostly good news Virgo! You have had Uranus in your 8th house of other people's money for seven years so it has probably been feast or famine for you Virgo as you learned not to hold on to material things too tightly. Changes within intimate situations have also been possible. These challenges will begin to smooth out now! Uranus will be opposing your 3rd house of communication, information, writing, siblings, transportation or your local neighborhood - so changes stimulated by outside influences could shake things up within any of these areas, too. You are off on an exciting journey around your beliefs - what is really real, what is possible - keep your mind open Virgo!

LIBRA/Libra Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now or maybe that's when these changes started. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 8th house of other people's resources, other people's values, intimacy, other people's money, spouse's income, loans, debts, taxes, inheritance, sex, reproduction. You have had Uranus in your 7th house de-stabilizing partners,  partnerships and professional contracts over the last seven years - this area of life will start to smooth out, now he moves into the space of how you share resources with other people. Uranus will be opposing your 2nd house of money, your values, your resources and self-esteem so outside influences could stimulate changes within these areas. You are rebuilding your security from the ground up Libra! Watch your benjamins baby.

SCORPIO/Scorpio Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now or maybe that's when these changes started. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 7th house of partners and partnerships. Expect some upheaval and changes within your relationships over the next seven years Scorpio. Partners might be less reliable and more unpredictable. But also more spontaneous and exciting! You will probably learn to stop second guessing other people and to rely more solidly on yourself. Over the last seven years with Uranus in your 6th house you could have found yourself continually updating your job skills or health habits. Your day-to-day activities and pet issues should stabilize a bit now. Uranus will be opposing your 1st house of yourself so changes from the outside world that you likely can't control could dictate changes for you. Stay on top of your health now. Stay flexible - I know this is like telling a piece of steel to stay flexible, but steel can bend, too Scorpio! I bend it every day with fire and Uranus the lightning bolt is pretty fiery! New people will come into your life, probably people you would never expect to come into partnership with (business, friendship, romance). Start a yoga practice. Think - FLEXIBILITY.

SAGITTARIUS/ Sagittarius Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now or maybe that's when these changes started. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 6th house of day-to-day activities, your routine, work, co-workers, pets and your health. Your daily life is going to change, maybe several times, over the next few years Sag! Expect eye opening revelations about what doing the same old thing is going to get you. Your job could change - as a result of your action or it could be forced upon you - either way Uranian changes create greater freedom. Your health/diet routine could be upended with a diagnosis or you could take it upon yourself to make needed changes. Uranus will be opposing your 12th house of what is hidden or put away or done behind the scenes, secrets, the ethereal realms, imagination, hospitals, spirituality, addiction, healing - unexpected situations within these themes could appear to come at you from outside influences. Multiple tickets to freedom will be offered to you over the next few years Sag. Your daily life will look totally different by the time Uranus exits Taurus!

CAPRICORN/Capricorn Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now or maybe that's when these changes started. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 5th house of creative projects, your self-expression, what you give birth to, children, romance and recreation. A new development could happen fast and YES you are the one who created this. With Uranus in your 4th house of home and family for the last several years you may have changed houses or had people move in or out of your home. Maybe you started or ended a home business. Maybe you got into real estate or renovation. Maybe you have worked through family patterns that have been limiting your choices/decisions. Any turbulent (up and down) family situations should begin to smooth out. Uranus will be opposing your 11th house of the collective - your friendships, groups, causes, the internet, the public, the goals that bring you into relationship with other people, your advancement, technology - change stimulated by outside situations will happen here, too. You are being handed a Uranian lightning bolt of creativity Capricorn use it wisely.

AQUARIUS/Aquarius Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now or maybe that's when these changes started. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 4th house of home, family, your roots, mother, mothering, your ancestry, real estate or a home business. Over the next several years you will likely move or someone will move into or out of your house. A home business could start or end. You might be involved in real estate or renovation. You will likely work through family patterns that have been limiting your choices/decisions or creating isolation or move away from a family situation that is limiting you. Uranus will be opposing your 10th house of your career, your calling, your achievements, your achievement goals, dad, business, authority, responsibility. Changes here may involve situations outside your control and we know you like to be in control Aquarius - remember our mantra now - change is good. A bigger life is heading your way Aquarius - you can exhale now!

PISCES/Pisces Rising - This transit actually began in mid-May 2018, so maybe that time-frame holds a clue to what you can expect now or maybe that's when these changes started. Uranus (CHANGE) is moving into your 3rd house of communication, information, writing, siblings, transportation or your local neighborhood. Your fixed ideas and way of thinking will be shaken up over the next several years. You will learn new things, write, read, maybe even speak an entirely new language! With Uranus in your 2nd house of income over the last few years it is likely your money/resources have been up and down. You learned how to be flexible, trust yourself to move on from any losses and reach out for sudden opportunities. With Uranus in your 3rd house there will be sudden conversations, ideas, teachings that will propel you in new directions. Uranus will be opposing your 9th house of travel, higher education, weddings, politics, legal issues, the media, publishing, foreigners, everything outside your comfort zone, exploration, your beliefs and higher thinking so changes in these areas could come suddenly and through outside situations. Your connections with other people will deepen dear Pisces as your patterns of communication do a 180!

March 2019 - Mercury's Retrograde through Pisces | this is our brain on drugs, dazed and confused, visionary ideas, having second thoughts, time to listen, time to remember, time to re-think this thing, feeling other people's words, a divine intervention, our past is given a voice, talking to ghosts

https://www.deviantart.com/ankazhuravleva/art/My-imaginary-fishes-609525859

Mercury will station retrograde at 29 degrees Pisces at 9:19PM EST on March 5th.

(and yes, this is within hours of Uranus's ingress back into Taurus and yes, 29 degrees Pisces, an uber powerful degree anyway since it is the LAST degree of the zodiac, is also the degree Chiron spent much of 2018/2019 dissolving and March 6th is also when we have the New Moon in Pisces which is at the degree Mercury is going to station direct at the end of her retrograde at the end of March - this is BIG).

So, we get all the way to the very end of Pisces

(and keep in mind that Mercury rules Virgo and is in his/her detriment in Virgo's polarity sign of Pisces, so we already aren't thinking straight, and keep in mind the very end of Pisces is the very end of EVERYTHING) -

we get to the final decision/the final conclusion/the answer is just about within our grasp (the whole Chiron through Pisces victimization/self-sabotage/loss of faith journey, everything, everything that we need to release) - and then ...

Mercury (as us) - that whole brain on drugs thing - I am blaming legal weed for this one - is required to re-think something.

Another look is needed. We missed something. The "i's" are not dotted (and no, hearts don't count). Maybe there is a "t" left uncrossed, somewhere back in chapter seven. Everything is not the way we thought it was. The truth shifts. Our reality shifts.

We have to re-think this!

And we have to re-think this with a brain that is frying on the sidewalk.

We are going to have to DOUBLE CHECK everything.

And yes, it makes me tired to hear this, too. I want ease and comfort and somebody to tuck me in and read me a bedtime story ... and someone to finish this annoying jigsaw puzzle that is taking up my entire coffee table with its excessive amounts of baby poop colored browns and winter-dreary grays.

What do we really know?

Keep assumptions to a minimum because we could be looking through rose colored glasses now (or baby-poop colored glasses - things won't be quite as good or quite as bad as they seem). Boundaries are blurry. It can get harder to stay in our own lane. Answers only bring more questions.

Avoid alcohol and drugs under this aspect - the effects will be magnified.

Mercury is going to make a sh*tload of aspects during this retrograde and at the same time we are going to be dealing with Uranus moving into Taurus!

Something big is happening. We are going to be all over the place with something.

Between March 10th and March 24th, Mercury will - inconjunct Pallas, trine the North Node, sextile the South Node, conjunct the Sun, square Jupiter, sextile Pluto, conjunct Vesta, sextile Mars, sextile Saturn, conjunct Neptune and square Juno. Then on March 29th she stations direct at 16 degrees Pisces (on top of Neptune), and does alot of this again moving forward (some of the planets will have moved on).

We are stepping into a portal where realities merge, identities dissolve. Very high frequencies can be experienced. But Mercury IS the trickster and Pisces/Neptune is tricky, too, AND always willing to show us that not only do we not know everything, but we are not even quite up to the task of providing a complete list of things we want to know about. Life is simply bigger than we are. So is Neptune.

A karmic past life cycle is completing. There is no stopping this ... and please don't try, because you are just going to have to do this all over again (or your children or their children will) and you will just be holding the rest of us up (not exactly, but since Pisces is also connected with 'guilt' I thought I'd toss that in there). The Age of Pisces is ended (ending) - the Age of Aquarius is here (coming). By the time Pluto moves into Aquarius in 2023, we will have already had Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius - everything is going to be different.

If we can release the need to try to control how this whole thing works this is going to go a whole lot easier.

As with all Mercury retrogrades - we do the "re's" - re-think, re-do, re-examine, re-search, re-peat, reunion, reminisce, re-vise, re-move (clutter ie the stuff that gets in the way of our life moving efficiently), re-visit, relax - this time focused on whatever is happening in our Pisces house.

The stuff we have done/said hastily or from too detached a space, will now be re-analyzed and gone over from a more intuitive/emotional vantage point. We downshift. Life slows down (or maybe drifts off course a bit).

This can be frustrating, but necessary. Maybe we will know how far apart our heart is from our head, by how far out of whack things get now. Mars will be in Taurus the whole time, kind of holding down the fort. By the time he gets into Gemini at the end of March, encouraging us to get moving on what we have learned, Mercury will be direct, too. By mid-April when Mercury starts covering brand new ground, we will be, too.

Situations and people from our past can show up because we are looking backward.

Pisces rules our collective 12th house - imagine the wheel of the zodiac and we are standing in our 1st house - we can't see the 12th house because it is BEHIND us. But just because we can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there helping and hindering us.

Well, now we can see it!

Mechanical stuff can encounter glitches. Rushing around will only result in stubbed toes, stressed out interactions and dents in our car (I once had three car accidents in a month when Mercury was retrograde, two of them in my own driveway!).

Something isn't quite ready for prime-time. Here's another chance to get it right.

Taking our time with important decisions, hesitating, being unsure of which direction to take, needing to think things through slowly and carefully and taking the time to listen and allow things to fall into place in their own right timing - are par for the course now.

This is not the best time to plow full steam ahead.

This is not the best time to sign a contract either, because things will come to light later that require revisions or our thinking (Mercury) can change after Mercury moves direct (end of March).

Now, sometimes things can't wait and contracts and papers must be signed and if that is the case - this would be a good time to READ THE FINE PRINT. No skimming. Get a lawyer or maybe better yet get a psychic - if they have any kind of game at all, they should be on top of it now - the psychic I mean, the lawyer will probably miss stuff, too. I would get one anyway though.

Use clear spoken and written language - and this won't be easy with Mercury moving backward through Pisces - we need to be doubly sure people are understanding what we are saying and that we are understanding other people, because wires get crossed now. And people will lie and maybe not even know they are lying. Secrets/behind door dealings will come out.

Double check that email before hitting 'send'. Mercury, the fleet footed messenger, rules things that are fast moving from our computers to our cars. BACK UP YOUR FILES. Check your oil.

Pisces is a water sign. We are going to be feeling what people are saying. We will be more intuitive. Other people will, too. On the other hand, our ability to "trust our gut" is dependent on what we have been putting in it. If we have just eaten a Big Mac and downed a Coca-Cola and we are thinking we know that this other person is telling us the "truth" or that some decision we are making is the right decision based more on feelings than facts, I would sleep on the whole thing and give that stuff - the words and the food - a couple days to digest ... first. Or even better, avoid that compulsion to pull through the golden arches in the first place.

Mercury/Pisces confusion is a collective thing. So we will all be sucked into it, BUT keep in mind your natal Pisces house has ALWAYS been the part of your chart where your boat isn't so tightly tethered to the dock. This isn't a rock-solid, stable area of life for you anyway. Mercury will bring your attention here, and his retrograde behavior will bring the need to revise, re-think, etc, but it's not like she is coming into a neat and orderly place and kicking up a mess

(of course, we do have Uranus into Taurus on the same day to take care of that part - ack).

Now, this is what is happening in the physical world. There is another level we are all working with, and in this higher level, in the ethereal realms, something else is happening.

We are surrendering, allowing, receiving (Pisces) a new way of thinking/communicating (Mercury).

Mercury is doing a fast back and forth over our "divine wound", the ground Chiron just spent the last few years triggering. This is the space of shame, victimization, betrayal, grief, loss of faith and self-sabotage AND also the space of healing connection.

This retrograde is truly a divine intervention.

We are listening to higher frequencies. We are reminded of our old dreams, our past life stories and the stories of our ancestors (both helpful and hindering) that were passed on to us to see what we could do with them!

The past and all that has been forgotten in that 12th house - is given a voice (Mercury) now.

Our mind is going all spiritual ninja on us.

It will be important to stay attuned to what our body needs while our mind is thinking it's 5:00 somewhere.

We will need more sleep. We might need a couple days of escape. Let's schedule some rest/relaxation into our calendar now, so we have something to look forward to. Just keep in mind with Mercury retrograde our plans will need to stay flexible, and if traveling, it is best to re-turn to a place we have been before.

We are going to need to drink more water. We are going to need to meditate or do some mindfulness exercises. Time spent outdoors, and with grounded animals and plants (and babies!) will be time well-spent. We will be very sensitive to music while Mercury is retrograde in Pisces (and song lyrics and tunes will get stuck in our heads) - maybe now is the time to try something LIKE THIS.

We have made the transition internally - we are just tying up some loose ends. We really can all relax and see where our new intentions lead us. But, it may not feel like that because we are going to have Uranus ingressing into Taurus at the same time! I will do a post on Uranus into Taurus this week and the New Moon in Pisces post next week will kind of bring everything together.

note for people with addiction issues and for people who love people with addiction issues - this Mercury retrograde in Pisces could be treacherous, but also exactly the energy needed for a true breakthrough/healing

Astrology Forecast for Creatives | Week of March 4th - the week when everything happened at once

https://www.deviantart.com/oprisco/art/untitled-268228553

This week's major aspects (and they are all SO major, they have their own posts) are:

TUESDAY - Mercury stations retrograde in Pisces (29 degrees) - that post is HERE
WEDNESDAY - New Moon in Pisces (15 degrees) - that post is HERE
WEDNESDAY - Uranus into Taurus - that post is HERE

We are in uncharted territory now!

By the end of this week, all the outer planets will have moved into their positions for the big game (or the pre-show, depending on how we look at this). The transpersonal planets (bridge between outer and inner) are both strong in their home signs - Saturn in Capricorn and Jupiter in Sagittarius.

On TUESDAY,  Mercury will station retrograde at 29 degrees Pisces (the end of the end of the end which we can now see isn't the end after all, go figure).

I wrote a post about that HERE.

It is our time to do the "re's" - re-think, re-vise, re-visit, re-view. You know the drill. In Pisces, this retrograde might include some re-grets and re-morse. Pisces is an emotional water sign - this is just part of the process we need to go through to complete this cycle.

Taking our time with important decisions, hesitating, being unsure of which direction to take, needing to think things through slowly and carefully and taking the time to listen and allow things to fall into place in their own right timing - are par for the course now.

Our thinking could seem more scattered, our memories less sharp, our thoughts might belong to that guy next to us (like why are we craving potato chips when we hate potato chips .. wait, does anybody hate potato chips?), we will need to wash our hands (and vegetables) more thoroughly because it will be easier to connect with everything. We will need more sleep.

Our guard is down, even when our guard is up. Keep this in mind.

We will talk about this more as we move through it.

We have just had Chiron through Pisces for the last few years. This is Mercury doing a quick back and forth cleaning things up. We have earned a breakthrough, let's not squander it on too much wine and Netflix marathons (although both will come in handy at some points during March). If you have a spiritual practice - this is the month it will pay off - and keep in mind, gathering information isn't a spiritual practice! Listening to Hay House radio isn't a spiritual practice.

To have a practice we have to be actually practicing something!

I have had some insane Neptune transits, which I am going to write about this month - some best practices I have found are 1. give Neptune his due - meditation, mindfulness exercises, long quiet walks, hot baths, prayer, knitting, ironing, coloring, drawing, painting, singing, dancing, listening to music, prayer - if you find yourself losing your keys, the word you were just about to say, getting to the store and not remember actually driving to the store - give Neptune his due. THEN 2. do something very hands on, think Virgo here because Virgo is the polarity sign of Neptune's Pisces - clean the floor, do yard work, scour the sink - and yes, I know it scratches these damn stainless steel sinks like the one I have in my kitchen, but I can't help myself,  I love to scour - or maybe I love to scowl ..it's one or the other, maybe both.

Instead of holding space for our dreams as we go through our day to day reality-based life, we are going to have to be holding space for REALITY now.

Our spiritual practice will keep us sane AND it is going to bring in a higher level of awareness - we will talk about this as we move through it and please read the Mercury Retrograde post! And yes, you can start this practice right now. Create a space for it - an actual physical space and a regular time/energy commitment.

On WEDNESDAY, we have the New Moon in Pisces. I wrote a long post about that HERE. I like this New Moon. Alot. Our Piscean intentions are getting multiple avenues of support this year! Mercury is going to station direct here at the end of the month

and all this repetition is providing a means for something unconscious to come out in the open.

Also on Wednesday we have Uranus out of Aries and into Taurus for the NEXT SEVEN YEARS (sorry for all the screaming - I blame Uranus) - I wrote about that HERE BY SIGN - this is the biggest aspect of the month/maybe the year.

Changes, likely something that challenges our sense of security, could start off with a BANG.

We have Venus in Aquarius answering to Uranus (and Saturn), and now Uranus in Taurus answering to Venus - both Venus and Uranus will get an EXTRA BOOST by being in mutual reception (an energetic loop) for the next couple weeks.

Aries stabilizes - yay Aries! Taurus gets a shake-up. Aquarius (both of your rulers are now in earth signs) is more grounded - you will still have to deal with the squares though, so will Leo, and Scorpio will have the crazy oppositions. It's all in the Uranus post so don't miss it.

And keep in mind this is a seven year transit - it won't all be happening this week and it won't all be happening for the entire seven years!

The week could be cray-cray for many people though, so lighten your load as best you can. Expect to be more emotional.

Don't rush or over-schedule. Expect some shifts and backtracking, a quiet new beginning that might actually be kind of LOUD. Swift change as something stabilizes and something else starts to rock and roll.

Everything we need is here - and probably a couple things we aren't going to want.

I have been saying Trump is Uranus since the election (with Uranus on his Sun and North Node natally), so we'll see how Uranus's change of position - from fire to earth - will work for him. Will he stable out a bit? get stuck in the mud? or double down on his scorched Earth maneuverings until he (or we) burn out?
