Today's Astrology Forecast | Thursday, October 15, 2020 - Sun squares Pluto, back to January when "time ran out", a light on our collective narcissism

 

This is the USA birth chart (Sibley) with its progressions and transits for today, as the Sun reaches 22 degrees Libra and squares Pluto - from his seat on that HOT degree of 22 Cappy from January. 

 

We talk alot about Saturn and Pluto's big (once in 500 year) conjunction in Capricorn that happened in mid-January, but we lose sight of the other energies at this big pow-wow at our detriment - the Sun, Mercury and Ceres.

The Sun (our life-force, our ego, our light), having met Pluto back in January starting a new cycle, had his first square to Pluto (first challenge of new cycle) back in April (from Aries), his opposition (when Pluto was retrograde) back in July (from Cancer) and here we are at the CLOSING SQUARE of their annual cycle, with the Sun in Libra. ALL our cardinal energies brought to the table. This time the Sun and Pluto square, in Libra/Cappy, with a focus on our RELATIONSHIPS.

We have a dark Moon (also in a closing cycle), also in Libra - making tense aspects to Chiron and Uranus - and pulling us into tomorrow's New Moon at 23 degrees Libra - so very near today's square and also in conjunction with Mars/Pluto square from earlier this week. The energies are HUGE.

Before we talk about what this means to us personally, I thought it would be a good time to see what is happening with the U.S. chart - and I realize everyone reading this is not in the U.S., but I think the story here has ramifications everywhere. 

I was surprised/#notsurprised to find the U.S. progressed Moon EXACTLY conjunct the U.S. natal Pluto right now. Fate, fears, power, death bed struggles - this is going to create intense feelings and insecurity. To progress a chart we move a planet one degree for every year, so this is the first time in the U.S. history the U.S. progressed Moon (the Moon in this kind of chart, represents, among other things, 'the people') has met Pluto. Insecurity/uncertainty is the food of panic, and, speaking of panic, if we added asteroid Pan to the U.S. natal we would find him in the 8th house (death - will panic be the death of us?) widely conjunct the U.S. North Node and exactly semi-sextile the United States Cancer Sun. 

As humans, maybe we have a tendency not to panic over very real risks that are familiar and known - for example car accidents, which claim thousands of lives every day, do not stop most of us from driving. We are more likely to 'panic' in an encounter with something unknown - even if it ends up causing minimal risk to us personally. Scared people become narcissistic (and I am not talking about the collective narcissism systemic in our culture now, we will get to that in the next Trump health watch post) - as focus naturally shifts to self-preservation. This is kind of knee-jerk/hard wired into our lizard brains to keep us alive, but the irony is that our reaction often makes us less safe, especially in a modern world where threats are much more complex. It's not as simple as climbing a tree to escape a wild boar or tossing our enemy down an abandoned well. 

 

Fear can make us blind to the reality of a situation. Fear can also make us much more controllable. 

 

If we look at 22 degree Cappy (22 degrees of any sign tends toward self-sabotage) in the U.S. natal we find asteroid (again, #surprise, #notsurprise) Narcissus, famous for his love of himself. The U.S. has this asteroid on this HOT/powerful degree in its natal chart - and this degree was hot long before Saturn/Pluto set it on fire!

 

When astrologers think of this Cappy pile-up as about 'covid' and our reactions to covid, we are missing a big piece of the story. We have to stop and think about this narcissism our reactions are feeding. And, in reverse, the fuel of narcissism that is enabling our reactions! We'll talk more about this later. 

For today, we have the Sun, at 22 Libra, squaring Pluto, at 22 Cappy. We talked about this in the weekly HERE. Power struggles. Manipulations. Situations that feel like life and death. A continuation or more likely, given this is the closing/separating square, a CULMINATION to a January 2020 story. On the one hand, if this has been an ongoing situation, whatever the outcome - the pressure can ease. On the other hand, a crisis now can bring permanent transformation - there is no going back to not knowing/life before this 2020 Sun/Pluto chapter. 

 

Our goal here, to end the day standing in our own shoes which means our own true source of power. To NOT allow our fears to control us/determine what we do or what we agree to. To NOT try to control/manipulate other people. To bury what is DEAD.

Today's Astrology Forecast | Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 - other people, our connections, our desire for peace and balance are pulling us into the future, uber productive day

 

 

The Moon, continuing her journey through industrious Virgo - opposes Neptune at 7:47AM EDT (note your dreams), trines Jupiter at 8:11AM EDT (optimism works in our favor), Pluto (power, intensity) at 1:55PM EDT and finally goes void off a trine to Saturn at 6:46PM EDT. She is then void for the rest of the day, so take tonight off and relax!

Virgo/Cappy trines are uber productive, and with Mercury retrograde we could be focused on something thing from the past, a re-do, re-vision. Mercury entered her/his shadow on September 24th, so ANYTHING we started before that date is fair game for progress now. Today's trines are powerful, expansive, stabilizing - things can fall smoothly into place with just a little effort.

In the meantime, this is also the day the Sun (at 21 Libra) trines the North Node (at 21 Gemini). 

 

Send the email. Answer the phone. Connect with people. Our relationships, our connections, the need for peace and balance (our shadow stuff that we project onto others can be especially visible to us now - take note of how you are interacting and what you are getting back from those interactions, ie how you feel after them) are pulling us into the future. The North Node in Gemini is giving us MORE OPTIONS/details/information - so pay attention.

A four star day in maybe (being generous) a one star week, so we'll use it or lose it. If something needs to get finished up before the New Moon on Friday - let's get it finished up.

The next couple days and the background buzz is more stressful, so we will need to choose to connect with today's easier energies and then SOMETHING SHOULD FALL INTO PLACE HERE. The Moon is dark (and with the Sun squaring Pluto tomorrow - lots of power moves and manipulations happening we won't get to see) and we are moving toward a New Moon determined to kick off a very unbalanced chapter - so let's get whatever today is wanting to show us.

New Moon post next and we'll get back to Trump/covid/the U.S. It was good news for him he came home from the hospital at Pluto's station which could indicate a permanent change of direction, on the other hand - he's got all these long term negative health aspects in general plus all the covid acute ones - tomorrow's Sun/Pluto and Friday's New Moon are all over his health/career and his chart and his progressed Moon is squaring Uranus - his health house ruler - exact next Tuesday. Exact and unpredictable. Maybe he's only out of the woods if his political aspirations continue to tank. If they actually are.

Today's Astrology Forecast | Tuesday, October 13, 2020 - Mercury stations retrograde, the Sun opposes Mars retrograde, intensity, a change of direction, relationship shadows, get some exercise

 

 

The Moon moved into earthy Virgo late last night. She trines a retrograde Uranus at 4:35PM EDT, sextiles Mercury (Virgo's ruler) at 8:19PM EDT and meets up with Venus at 10:54PM (13 degrees).

We talked about today's INTENSE aspects in the weekly HERE for Tuesday.

 

The Moon, with multiple smooth/positive aspects is going to help. Her trine to Uranus helps us emotionally integrate change more easily, particularly anything unexpected regarding our finances/resources/values. That sextile to Mercury, which is exact about an hour before Mercury stations retrograde, speaks of some down-to-earth and realistic communication/problem solving available esp well-timed for business/service or related to Venusian themes - our relationships, money, values, self-esteem - just keep things practical and focused. 

 

Lean into one solid thing and not all over the place. 

Keep in mind today's Mars/Sun opposition intensified by Mercury's station can make us antsy/easily irritated. Other people will be feeling this, too. With Venus in Virgo the ways we are hard on ourselves can be projected onto other people, so we need to just stay in our own shoes. Get some exercise. Do something physical. We can choose to use this burst of energy as motivation, rather than a reason to lose it. But we might lose it, anyway. Let's not be too hard on ourselves here. 

The Sun is in Libra seeking balance and we are at the halfway point of the Mars retrograde with Mars closer to the Earth than he will be in years. The drums of war are beating all week. There is an old Mars retrograde axiom that whoever starts the war (during the retro) will lose the war, so keep this in mind, too. 

After tonight we have two of our three personal planets retrograde. If something important can be postponed until mid to late November, it might be a good idea to postpone it. If we can't, that is OK, too, just know there will be twists and turns and the need to revise things as we move ahead. Just do what you have to do. The stuff we dig up during Mercury's time in Scorpio will be needed when she/he gets back into Libra by the end of the month. We will need to be paying attention and we will be. And Scorpio rules death, too. It will not only be what we dig up, but what we put into the ground that will matter. With that pile-up in Cappy and Mercury in Scorpio and Mars slowing us down/not producing the results we are wanting - everyone is questioning their life on a deeper level than ever before.

In November things are going to change. Mars and Mercury will station direct. By the middle of November this holding pattern we are in will release. And we will know what we are dealing with because it will be happening. By December we are responding to what happens in November - we know now.

 

For today - take care driving. Take care with your tools. Take care with your words. Take care of you. If we are going to rise from the sweaty sheets of our 2020 deathbeds we have to know WE MATTER. Each of us. And each part of us. Everyone gets a seat at the table.

 

We are in the red hot middle of the Mars retrograde just as Mercury's gets started. 

 

Life is really an inside job now.

I am running late, so let's jump right into it! Another BIG week, folks!

 

MONDAY - Jupiter sextiles Neptune, Mercury sextiles Venus

TUESDAY - Mercury stations retrograde, Sun opposes Mars

WEDNESDAY - Sun trines the North Node

THURSDAY - Sun squares Pluto

FRIDAY - New Moon in Libra

SUNDAY - Sun squares Saturn, Venus opposes Neptune

 

Let's unpack the aspects and then we will add in the Moons as we move through the week!

 

MONDAY - We start the week with both our benevolent planets making opportunistic sextiles! We have the third and final Jupiter sextile Neptune (last chance with something here baby!) - making the dream real - and we have Mercury (in Scorpio) sextiling Venus in Virgo.

 

Last year when we had those Saturn/Neptune sextiles we had Jupiter moving through Sagittarius, his home sign, so there were some big opportunities for some people, but also some big disappointments because Jupiterian energies can get carried away and not deliver everything we had hoped. This year, even though Jupiter is more of an unwelcome visitor (in Cappy) than the king of his castle (in Sag) - and kind of operating from behind enemy territory/with one hand tied behind his back - he is more grounded/practical. The 'dreams' more do-able. Not as shiny maybe, but 'shiny' is so 2019, right? This is more a matte finish kind of year.

 

We had this aspect back on February 20th and July 27th, so something now could connect us to something then as expansion/confidence/enthusiasm moves 'the dream' forward.

 

Unlike trines, sextiles require a little effort, but once we get the ball rolling - IT WILL ROLL. Maybe this energy can't get us what we might have gotten last year, but we don't want the same things we wanted last year anyway. This is still your Cappy house making nice with your Pisces house through some big-boy energies. If you have planets or points near 16 degrees, all the better, you will feel this energy strongest. 

 

Coming at the same time we have a second opportunistic aspect - Mercury's trine to benevolent Venus - and it really gives today's final Jupiter/Neptune some extra bite! In a giant slice of chocolate cake kind of way, not these annoying mosquitoes (still here in October and what's up with that?).

 

Good news can come in.  Lucrative ideas. Sweet nothings can be whispered. Conversations, information - deep, intimate, financial - are good for our relationships, our bottom line, our values, our self-esteem. What needs to talked about? Delved into? Thought through? What makes the most sense/cents? 

 

If the U.S. Congress could get their act together this would be the day to come to an agreement on the next leg of a stimulus package. Hopefully they heed the Fed Chair and don't wait because it's mostly down hill from here.

TUESDAY is one of the BIG cray-cray days - Mercury stations retrograde at 11 degrees Scorpio (answering to Pluto) as the Sun (21 degrees Libra and answering to Venus who's answering to Mercury who's answering to Pluto) opposes a retrograde Mars (21 degrees Aries).

 

This is a POWDER KEG and Mars is still squaring powerful Pluto and conjunct angry Eris.

 

So we've got powerful Mars/Pluto (war aspect) energized through ALL our personal planets - the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus! The outside world chaos can come home to our livingroom or maybe more precisely our bedrooms and balance sheets.

Our usual Mercury retrograde game plan applies - back things up, double check emails before you hit send. It's time to re-think, re-examine, re-visit, re-vise.

We ignore Mercury retrograde at our own peril. Trying to plow ahead re-gardless will not work. It also won't work to stand still and try to wait Mercury out. We must move our ideas, projects, situations, problems, etc - through the process of the retrograde period. With Mercury in Scorpio be assured there are a hell of alot of things we haven't talked about yet.

In Scorpio this deep diving and emotional Mercury retrograde will help us build the MENTAL STRENGTH we need to deal with the changes we have been experiencing and the changes still to come - because the truth of these volatile times we are living in is this - we have to do what we came here to do and for some people this means big endings/big re-visions because we are needed somewhere else. Also over the next few weeks expect changes to who and what we owe and how we pay them.

Secrets can come out. Intimacy issues/financial information will be talked about. Deep emotions will be expressed. This is an excellent time for communications about/with our ancestors. It could be, we (and other people) will be digging up what no one really wants to talk about and then talking about it. We might be doing important research before making a serious commitment or taking another look at a verbal deal or something we have learned.
 

This could be about a Scorpio collective theme - life/death, other people's money, investments, inheritance, loans, mortgages, taxes, intimacy issues, sex, reproduction, the resources we have merged with other people - a Mercurian theme we are going deeply into - information, communications, commerce, learning, teaching, sibling issues, local community issues, transportation situations - or the theme of your natal (or progressed) Scorpio house. 

 

Keep in mind with Mercury in Scorpio our words can be powerful/empowering, cutting/even deadly. Remember to measure twice and cut once or (unlike me) read the voting ballot directions that say DO NOT CUT on the perforated dotted line before you cut it.
 

What we discover (and what we do with what we discover) will have a great impact on how the November and December powerhouse energies play out for us. We'll talk about all of this as we move through it. Mercury will station direct on November 3rd - yes, the United States Election Day. Ack!

 

Mercury is particularly POWERFUL, wonky and I would say dangerous at station. We've had terrorist activity/storms before at these times and now we have Mars, sitting with Eris, squaring Pluto and opposing the Sun AT THE SAME TIME!

Stay safe. This isn't a time to go wandering into an alley looking for your lost cat - the cat might be fine (nine lives and all), you, maybe not so much. The stuff we have been sitting on can come rocketing out of the seat cushions, and send us flying. 

The Sun is in Libra - so this is about our relationships, a need for balance/fairness - and with Mars in Aries - our individual needs. We'll talk about this more in the dailies when we look at what the Moon adds to the picture.

WEDNESDAY - the Sun trines the North Node shining a light on a path forward. Pay attention/make connections. This trine is Libra/Gemini - both air signs/communicative and wanting to keep things light. Good for social interactions and making contacts that will be helpful in the future. Make the call. Answer your phone.

THURSDAY - the Sun squares Pluto - this is combative change/tension/frustration with a push for dominance/power/control. A light is thrown on the shadows of a relationship/an injustice/something out of balance. Jealousy. Compulsion. Manipulation. Uncomfortable and unbalanced power situations. Power struggles. We might feel backed into a corner with something that feels like life and death (because in a sense it is) as we, once again, struggle for air.

The ways through this: let's think about the signs involved, Libra/Capricorn - maybe here is the need for grace under pressure. Diplomacy. Tact. This isn't about being wishy-washy, passive aggressive or playing small to keep something in balance though. No more of that. The Sun is going to move past his square to Pluto - as whatever this is comes out into the light. This could also be a bit of a humbling as the Sun (our ego) needs to maneuver around the darkness. Secrets can come out.

FRIDAY - New Moon in Libra - like last year's New Moon in Libra, a challenged new beginning with this relationship energy. With squares to the Cappy planets and an opposition to Mars, whatever is starting/this new chapter starting on an extremely unbalanced footing, maybe forced through tension/a crisis situation, but START IT WILL! 

 

Expect a BIG post. Expect negotiations.

SUNDAY - Sun squares Saturn, Venus opposes Neptune.

 

Just off Pluto, now, the Sun moves into a square with Saturn - more Libra/Cappy. Relationship reality checks. Our relationships vs our work. Our relationships vs our stability. Maybe the shadow stuff we have pushed onto other people coming into the light. Tension. Frustration, Rules. Limits. Is the way authority is working within our relationships still working? Are our commitments still working? What is fair now?

 

Venus moves into her opposition with Neptune. The details (of our relationships, our money, our values) get blurry/confusing. Too fantastical. Keep your credit card in your wallet and your eyes off that cute guy, who won't be nearly as cute tomorrow and maybe he will be off with your wallet. There might be vague results here, maybe a disappointment. Oppositions can bring endings. With Venus in dutiful Virgo - are we going to keep serving this situation/relationship/project or not?

It's an intense week and keep in mind I have listed these aspects for the days they are most exact, but they are powerful when applying and unwinding also.

Next week Venus moves through her smooth trines to the Cappy planets and that should help alot (relationships, resources, finances) ...

the October Astrology of Trump, Covid and the United States | a major transformation to restore balance, part II - extremely dangerous time for Trump's health

 

Part I is HERE and the Trump covid announcement chart is HERE. I've written before about the ways Trump's chart and the covid virus interact so intimately with the U.S. birth chart called the Sibley Chart - see this post HERE.

 

For this chart we are looking at our usual cast of characters plus asteroids Hygiea, Pandora and Wuhan. We are also adding in asteroids Pholus, Henry, Lachesis and her sister Atrophis (for reasons we will get into here and in a later post).

Most of this stuff is already in play - aspects are strongest when applying (approaching exactness as they are now), but we are going to specifically look at October 13th the day Mercury is going to station retrograde in Scorpio (opposite Uranus), while the Sun (already debilitated in Libra and the ruler of Trump's chart) opposes a retrograde Mars (in Aries) and squares all that powerful Cappy stuff. This is the peak of the Mars retrograde and two days before a New Moon in Libra (23 degrees).

 

Cardinal T-Square formed from the ashes of a Cardinal Grand Cross when the Moon moves out of Cancer on Saturday night - uber powerful. 

 

Let's take a look.

 

This is a very dangerous time for Trump. His physical health, his power, his career. This is life and death. Bags are packed. The grim reaper is at the door. If any part of this man feels like giving up, like it is time for him to be "out of here" - he will be. I think he still has some control over what is going to happen, but not alot.

 

Let's move the hands of time ahead to October 13th -  asteroid Wuhan is now on the exact degree - 22 Capricorn - activated when Pluto and Saturn met here back in January when "time ran out"! He is exactly conjunct a newly direct Pluto and also conjunct Saturn and Jupiter. 22 degrees Capricorn is the Vertex (point of fate/destiny) in Trump's natal chart. This is also conjunct Trump's natal asteroid Pholus - the centaur who uncorked a bottle of wine and started a war, then died very fast after pricking his finger with a poisoned arrow - he's the genie out of the bottle aspect. We can't get him back in. 22 Cappy is conjunct the U.S. natal Pluto (whose return to its 1776 U.S. birth position is building) and opposes the U.S. natal Mercury/asteroid Henry exact conjunction and U.S. natal Vertex/Part of Fortune exact conjunction. 

 

It's like someone pouring gasoline on a fire.

Mars will be at 21 degrees Aries (21-22 degrees is especially very hot right now and if you have anything in your natal chart here, you will be feeling the heat, too, this month). This is the exact degree of Trump's Hygiea (illness) and Lachesis conjunction and tightly conjunct (20 degrees) the United States natal Chiron (our national wounding in our 4th house of home/country). 

In Greek mythology, Lachesis was one of the Three Fates - the sisters who were said to determine the destinies of men and Gods. Astrologically Lachesis is considered an indicator/measure for the length of life. Sometimes in an event chart or through transit she can indicate a death/termination, sometimes she can indicate an interruption that interferes with a planned outcome. Her sister, Atropos cuts the cord of life with her shears. Trump was born with asteroid Lachesis exactly conjunct asteroid Hygiea. Right now transiting asteroid Lachesis is conjunct Trump's 8th house (death, transformation) natal ruler Neptune. Transiting Neptune is conjunct asteroid Henry (we'll get into this in the next post) - both are squaring Trump's Sun/North Node/Uranus and his natal Moon/Wuhan.

(Trump was born with asteroid Atropos, the cord cutting sister, conjunct his natal Sun in the 10th house - maybe forecasting a public death, maybe to be cut down in his prime in some way or maybe we are just seeing the death of an important and public career. Transiting Atropos - where she is right now - is conjunct his natal asteroid Henry and the U.S. natal North Node)

On the 13th the Sun will oppose Mars from 21 degrees Libra - the sign of the Sun's debilitation and will conjunct Trump's natal Jupiter. Having the Sun on his natal Jupiter has been helping Trump during this illness, but now we reach this exact opposition to Mars - with Trump's conjunction waning - and the Sun will be squaring transiting Jupiter (plus Pluto, Saturn and asteroid Wuhan), so Jupiter cannot be as much help here.

 

He has kind of walked into a landmine. Now, transiting Jupiter is sextiling Neptune - exact on the 14th, so there's that, yes, but keep in mind Trump's natal Neptune is conjunct transiting Lachesis (the determiner of the length of life/goals) and Neptune rules his 8th house - there are probably things he doesn't want to be (that smooth sextile) sliding into here. On the other hand, prayers can help. The channels are open. The Gods/our ancestors/our past lives are listening/helping.

As the Sun opposes Mars, the Sun will be conjunct the natal Juno (in Libra) in the United States birth chart in the 10th house (leader). Trump was born with a painful Juno/Chiron conjunction in Libra (partnerships - certainly left over from his King Henry VIII days or the kingly energy he carries, I can't be sure obviously, but we'll talk about this in the next post).

So, the Sun opposes Mars (exactly) and squares all the Cappy energies. This is a cardinal T-Square with the missing leg in Cancer - filled in for all of us this weekend by the Moon in Cancer, but filled in for Trump as a more on-going transit by his natal Saturn/Venus conjunction in Cancer and for the United States through the U.S. birth chart's (keep in mind both charts are influencing each other) natal Mercury, Henry, Vertex, Part of Fortune. 

The North Node (more destiny, the future) will be on Trump's natal Sun and opposing his Moon. It will be on the United States natal Mars. Transiting Hygiea will be on the United States natal North Node (8th house) and Trump's natal Pluto (12th house).

Plus Trump has longer term health challenges we talked about in the last post. Both his 6th house and 12th house (health houses) rulers are stressed out. His 10th house ruler (career/power/station in life) is Venus and she's traveling through Virgo (conjunct Pandora) and answering to that stationing Mercury. Somebody around him had better know what they are doing. At the very least he could have some long term health complications from this. 

 

This is so much astro-babble and I could probably write three more paragraphs of it (but won't, don't worry if your eyes have glazed over). 

 

At the very worst we could be having his funeral at the next Full Moon at the end of the month. I hope to hell we are just looking at the death/transformation of his career. Either way we are probably looking at major changes for the United States (the death of the U.S. as we know it) - but we can already see this. 

 

His strong Uranian/Martian character (love him or hate him) has carried us to the brink of the Age of Aquarius. For better AND worse. We'll see what the next week brings us. He has withstood immense pressures before and survived. And, of course, so has the country,

 

Bottom line - bigger hands than ours, or Trump's (and his aren't very big if I remember correctly) are steering this ship. 

 

We have to trust our collective course.  

 

Also keep in mind, everything happening OUT THERE is also happening inside us. So take care of yourself. Use your power wisely.

This is where I will add a disclaimer that transiting Pluto is conjunct my natal Mercury, yes, STILL, (21 Cappy, so waning finally) in my third house - maybe I am 'thinking about death', and I am, and of course I can't look at a chart any other way but through my own eyes. It is rather obvious, to me, this is very serious, but again, these are my eyes/chart I am looking out with. And I have to admit having asteroid Wuhan on my natal Mercury, ruler of my 8th house, with my chart ruler retrograding through my 6th, I am wanting to appease these energies/give them something to do by writing (Mercury) about them :)

Today's Astrology Forecast | Friday, October 9, 2020 - intense conversations, power struggles, a need to get control of ourselves, a need to stop avoiding whatever it is we are avoiding, tests of power

 

 

The Moon in Cancer sextiled Venus and a retrograde Uranus early AM EDT, then trines Mercury (in fellow water sign Scorpio) at 8:02AM EDT. Later today - she will start her squares and oppositions - first squaring the Sun (8:39PM EDT) in Libra  and then opposing Jupiter (11:16PM EDT). 

 

The trine to Mercury can indicate intense conversations emotional conversations/information. Mercury is still in opposition to Uranus, so this might take us by surprise, but we have probably seen this coming.

This month's Third Quarter Square, which we talked about in the weekly HERE - Cancer/Libra - speaks of imbalances and unfairness between our safety/security/what we need/maybe a home situation and our relationships. Cardinal signs tell us this is a good time to start something new here and the square could push us into just that. 

 

In the meantime, a retrograde Mars is backing into his second square to Pluto. 

 

We had this square back in the middle of August, so maybe a situation from that time is back on our plate. Mars opposed Pluto from Libra back in March, so we are back here, too. We need to get control of ourselves. We need to be confronting our fears/no hiding. BUT we don't want to be escalating intense situations now - we won't win. Again this is cardinal energy - time to start something new. Take the bull by the horns, and keep in mind, that bull is us. We know what needs to be done and it's time to get on with it. We don't want to be manipulating/controlling other people now - this is going to bite us in the ass big time. Instead let's focus on what we need to do/what WE can control. 

 

If stuff has been pushed down and hidden in closets here is where it can come storming out. Keep in mind Pluto's ability for total transformation. And his ability to make everything feel like life and death. Maybe it actually is (like in Trump's case and I hope his people are on top of this) but most likely it isn't. 

 

It sure as hell gets our attention though.

 

With Pluto, we might not be able to win, but we can't hide either.

Keep in mind also that Mars is retrograde which means life is an inside job now. Slow down. Observe. Observation IS action. We want to be responding and not reacting. Let's not allow ourselves to be cornered into something that is not in our best interest. 

We are building toward (and it's in play RIGHT NOW) Mercury's retrograde station during a HUGE hulabaloo of other aspects on the 13th. 

 

This is where the transformed/massacred 21-22 degrees of Capricorn (folding lower timelines into higher timelines) again pulls in the Libra/Aries points (kill or cure). If we have planets/points near 21 degrees Libra, we will need to be standing up for ourselves, striving for balance, not being a people-pleaser (which is actually a selfish act, not a selfless one). If we have planets/points near 21 degrees Aries, we will need to pull back some of our fire to make room for other people or we will BURN THEM UP and ourselves in the process.

Keep in mind our Jupiter/Neptune way through this - prayer, meditation, compassion, forgiveness, apologies, RELEASE. And this does not been being a doormat/martyr - NO WAY.

 

These cardinal energies are pretty much DEMANDING this month we face our fears and act responsibly. We can walk away from confrontations. Respond and not react or shoot from the hip. We can value ourselves and act from that space of self-worth. After all we've been through these last few years we have it in us to do this. We can start from where we are. The cardinal Grand Cross - Mars in Aries, Moon in Cancer, Sun in Libra and the Cappy pile-up is in effect until Saturday night and then transforming into a tight Cardinal T-Square by next week. 

 

Focus on what you can control instead of what you can't.

 

How we use/misuse this power now is a test. Let's pass this thing. The world is counting on us.
