Today's Astrology Forecast | Wednesday, February 10, 2021 - trusting the hold up, the re-visions, the re-thinking, the looks backward, check yourself before you wreck yourself

 

The Moon moves through packed Aquarius now. We haven't seen this many planetary bodies in Aquarius since 1962. She meets Saturn at 7:41AM EST, squares Uranus at 8:41AM EST, meets Venus at 5:10PM EST and meets Jupiter at 6:28PM EST.  Wow!!

 

This is the day Mercury is going to trine the North Node then square Mars. Mercury is retrograde and the North Node is our best path forward, so we can see the re-vision, re-view, re-think (even delay/stoplight) we are having is a needed part of the process. She/he will be back here in March direct and by then we will know what we are doing because we will be doing it. 

The tricky part is Mercury's square (tension, frustration) with Mars. We talked about this yesterday and in the weekly HERE. 

 

"Here is an old argument/obstacle/tension. This is a repeating aspect from January 8th. We might have to fight for what we think/have/need. Mars is in Taurus, busy trying to hold onto what he (as we) has - working toward stability. Our actions are geared toward our sustenance/survival/slow and steady growth/what is comforting. Maybe Mercury is coming in with these far-out ideas ahead of her time and Mars is like, hold on a minute - do we have the existing resources/self-esteem for this? What would I have to change? This is a fixed square, so no one wants to budge. With Mercury in Aquarius this can also be a surprising realization/news that upsets our hard-earned stability."

 

Maybe we don't have enough information/or the right thinking about something to proceed. We know from the trine these delays/looks backward are necessary, so there is no point beating our head against the wall over that part of it. If we are feeling antsy/impulsive we can give Mars in Taurus something to do - he (as we) is very useful here/can do the sustaining thing. With all this airy Aquarius, we are lucky to have our hands in the dirt - or mud as it might be. Keep in mind the North Node is in Gemini (answering to that retrograde Mercury) - it's a time to talk, ask questions, look around, yes ... again. Mercury will be direct on February 20th and then we'll be moving forward and by mid-March covering new ground.

 

The fact that this major stellium in Aqua is happening while she is retrograde tells us this retrograde/backward thinking is VERY IMPORTANT. We can't move forward without it. We won't line up with what we need to line up with. Check facts. Ask questions. Know words can be challenging. We might feel pushed or pushy. 

 

The first of 2021's Saturn/Uranus squares is happening next week. Aquarius/Taurus, just like today's Mercury/Mars. When Saturn gets added to the mix (and he's already in here) we get results/reality checks - so the results of any rebelliousness/disorder, Aquarius detachment. Or maybe he brings us the results of our innovative thinking/elbow grease/group goals - this can be the "futury-thing" this week's challenges are building if we work things well. Do robots have muscles? Maybe they do.

For today, maybe some old information/person from the past/need to re-think, SOMETHING, seems to be holding us up. Trust the hold up. Keep a cool head because Mars in Taurus is frustrated enough.

The Moon is dark/balsamic. Get enough rest. All these energies squaring Mars (our action, passion, initiative) can make us less motivated. We'll rehash all this more thoroughly in the New Moon post tonight.

Today's Astrology Forecast | Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 - get it done early, a healing opportunity if we are willing to address the wound, starting to get antsy

 

 

The Moon continues her travels through Capricorn now - nurtured through taking things seriously, older people, having beans in the cupboard and dollars in the bank.

She sextiled Neptune at 1:54AM EST and then goes void off a meet up with Pluto at 12:21PM EST. What a relief for the Moon not to have that Cappy pile-up to deal with when she is in her detriment anymore! This day is good for business, taking care of responsibilities, dealing with authority/stepping into our own. The Moon is balsamic now, dark, winding things down. What do you need to finish? Get off your desk/plate/mind? The Moon will be void until 8:20PM EST when she moves into Aquarius in preparation for this week's New Moon.

This week is all about Mercury retrograde - what we are re-doing, re-vising, re-imagining, re-thinking. The past is alive. The impeachment trial begins today in the United States - during the Void Moon! But we have the sextile of Saturn (in Aquarius) and Chiron (in Aries) - active all week/exact today - a healing opportunity if we are willing to address the wound. And that is what we are doing, although legislators may think they are doing something else.

We are moving toward tomorrow's exact (in play now, and Mars often feels more potent as he is applying than exact) - Mercury/Mars square as Mercury backs into 17 degrees Aquarius and squares Mars at 17 degrees Taurus. News/information.conversations/decisions challenge us. This likely has its roots in the past. We could be triggered/pissed off. Antsy/agitated. Or other people will be, so keep a cool head. Drive safely. Be aware of your words/actions in group situations. We might feel pushed or pushy. Maybe pushed to do something. We can probably expect we will have to put more energy into what we want or we might decide through the square, it's not really worth doing/thinking anymore. March and April look easier collectively and keep in mind alot of what is happening in January and February will impact most of the year. The January explosions creating the need for February retractions.

 

For today, get important stuff done early before that Void Moon and save Void Moon time for the routine matters you do all the time, or things you would like "nothing to come of". 

 

The Moon in Cappy can feel depressing for some people (others get more goal-oriented/ambitious and who is who depends on other factors sometimes out of our control), it's dark now and needs rest - we do, too - and with so much in Aquarius, answering to Saturn and opposing the sunnier days of Leo - make some time for fun (and sun - those Vitamin D chewables aren't quite the same thing, are they?). I have been making these livingroom Escape Rooms (which are these kind of stressful puzzles, but since I am making them and not solving them, no stress for me - ack). Do what you have to do to step away from any heaviness when you can. We will get through this guys. Together and alone. It's written in the stars. Truly.

MONDAY - Sun conjunct retro Mercury

TUESDAY - Saturn sextile Chiron

WEDNESDAY - retro Mercury trine North Node, retro Mercury square Mars

THURSDAY - New Moon in Aquarius (23 degrees), Venus conjunct Jupiter

SATURDAY - retro Mercury conjunct Venus, Mars sextile Neptune

There is a MEGA heavy concentration of Aquarius planets this week.

 

We haven't seen anything like this since February 5, 1962, the date astrologer/psychic Jeane Dixon announced was the birth of the anti-Christ. She saw the anti-Christ as an actual person, but hindsight being 20/20 and all, maybe this was the start of a computer program/hardware/something that took us in a different direction with technology? I penpaled with her a couple times when I was a kid, since this was my birthday (not the year) to assure myself I wasn't this anti-Christ fellow she warned of. She was quite nice to me.

 

Aquarius in our chart is where we need to be different/stand apart, be ourselves, and recognize how we connect (or don't) to the group, but our nervous systems aren't used to this kind of high-powered BLAST - so you may need to unplug more often now and get outside/go inside. I had to step offline a couple days last week - the reason for the crickets around here.

 

Also keep in mind with all this smart and future-focused Aqua, brilliant ideas are the low-hanging fruit now, so PAY ATTENTION.

Let's take a quick look at the week sans the Moons!

MONDAY- a moment of CLARITY

 

The Sun (in Aquarius) meets a retrograde Mercury at 20 degrees. This is the Sun/Mercury inferior conjunction at the halfway point of Mercury's retrograde process (kind of like their New Moon). A moment of clarity. A time "to see what we are thinking". A new manifestation cycle - thoughts becoming things - begins. Mercury is retrograde, so can be a trickster here, and we've been here before, but in Aquarius, we will likely be advancing something/taking it further. 

 

Here is an answer/result/idea/conversation/information flavored with Aquarian detachment/brilliance/stubbornness/future or group-focus. Mercury is translating Aqua energy into words and perceptions. 

 

We can be shaken up/out of a rut now.

 

This is the time of AHA! moments that are not blurred by teary eyed sentiment/emotions. 

And keep in mind Mercury has just met Pallas on SUNDAY, so he is smarter now. His/her strategies/plans more innovative/cutting edge. Also keep in mind Mercury is retrograde - so this is a time of re-thinking, re-viewing, re-doing - the dots, that Pallas so famously connects are not through re-arranging themselves. We need to stay somewhat flexible even as Aquarius (fixed air) is wanting to nail this all down.

TUESDAY - detaching/focusing on the future to HEAL

Saturn (at 6 degrees Aquarius) sextiles wounded healer Chiron (at 6 degrees Aries). The Aquarius/Aries sextile (opportunity) is all about individuality/independence. This is healing by detaching from what is raw/easily triggered. Saturn in Aquarius is also about our karma with group/collective responsibilities, so there is something healing now, by doing the work there. Big girl/big boy pants on. Yes, they can be sweat pants.

WEDNESDAY - the right words and also an argument/tension/stumbling block, working the process

Now, our retrograde Mercury (18 degrees Aquarius) trines the North Node in Gemini and then, moving backward, squares Mars at 17 degrees Taurus. 

So, we got the IDEA/result/clarity/information - whatever enlightenment the Sun gave Mercury earlier in the week - and now here is where it pulls us smoothly into the future. Mercury rules the North Node, and the trine is astro's best aspect, so this is POWERFUL. This is all air - so the right conversation happens at just the right time, the book we need to read falls off the shelf. Just keep in mind what the North Node in Gemini is all about - asking questions and not being so sure we have all the answers, staying flexible, keeping it local/small enough to pivot as needed - we are going to get this aspect again in early March with Mercury direct, so this is a process. 

 

A few hours later, Mercury is going to square Mars.

Mercury is going to meet Taurus ruler Venus at the end of this week, so there is some ironing-out going to happen as we move forward. Venus is in Aquarius so leaning into the future, too, and she will be coming off her own meeting with expansive/big-picture Jupiter before Mercury backs into her. And keep in mind this is all happening in the outer world and in our world and in our own heads/bodies. Working through the tangles/frustration is part of the process. And, of course, this will be colored by our natal house placements, so FOR EXAMPLE if you are a Scorpio rising, all this Aquarius focus is impacting your 4th house of home, family, family business, home business, mother, etc - and being squared by your partnership house which is less predictable/stable than it used to be!

 

We have to remember these Taurus squares from the Aqua planets are not what they would have been a couple years ago because now we have Uranus (Aqua's co-ruler of chaos) in steady-Eddie Taurus (which is now just Eddie and not so steady) shaking this stuff up. 

 

The squares to Aquarius can be the final push needed to break something that has been stuck (maybe for lifetimes) FREE.

 

THURSDAY - the Aquarius Moon meets the Aquarius Sun giving us this month's New Moon!

 

Here is the BIG New Moon in Aquarius (our 4th!! New Moon at 23 degrees, this time conjunct a couple tricky fixed stars, again with Eris at 23 degrees Aries and this time with Vesta at 23 degrees Libra conjunct fixed star Spica) with a MEGA stellium in Aquarius to power it up including Venus and Jupiter who are EXACT. There is a wide square to Mars here, which I think, gives us just enough stress/tension for the impossible to be made more possible. And keep in mind Mercury is retrograde so there will be revisions, reviews of whatever gets started now, later on. The Aquarius space in our chart is where we are getting the chance to re-write EVERYTHING. Everything? Yes, I think so!

Expect a BIG POST!

SATURDAY - talking about what we want, making the dream real

 

Now a retrograde Mercury backs into Venus at 14 degrees Aquarius and at the same time Mars (at 19 degrees Taurus now) is sextiling Neptune in Pisces. All the inner planets are active, so we should all be feeling this. This connects us back to tenser energies earlier in the week, but now instead of Mars running interference for Mercury and Venus, they are together and he is off playing nice with Neptune.

 

Venus in Aquarius lets us step back from what we think we want and sometimes this detaching thing creates a kind of vacuum that allows what we need - which might look quite a bit different from what we were thinking or maybe it doesn't, Aquarius is quite unpredictable - to come through. After her meeting with Jupiter she is feeling more expansive/open. Mercury, on the other hand, has just squared off with Mars, so is kind of just past this tension/frustration involving our resources, money, self-esteem. He/she has been through quite a bit this week and is no doubt soothed by Venus. Time to say it again? Reach out again? Maybe. Plus, of course Mars is off making opportunistic connections to dreamy Neptune - his actions/routines to stabilize out security/comfort working very well with 'the dream'. Earth and water are fertile/can create very solid things and Mercury/Venus in Aqua is alot of air, but this isn't a flighty kind of energy. Aquarius, fixed air, and co-ruled by Saturn (strong in Aquarius now) is long lasting.  

 

Coming right after, and as part of, this week's BIG New Moon speaks well for real THINGS (with wings) to be PLANTED in fertile ground.

 

One caveat with all the Aquarius this week (the Sun leaves Aquarius next week and this starts to break up) besides the 'deep-fry our brains' part, and take this from an Aquarian Sun person with an Aquarius stellium, Aquarius wants/needs to ADVANCE and to be different. And this focus on advancement/being different can sometimes make us lose sight of 'do we want/need to do this advancing or this different thing' in the first place. Because we can do it, does this mean we should do it? When we are truly stuck, any change can be good. But will it be? I'm not sure. But, I am choosing to believe, yes. 

 

Yes, it is. Sometimes new is enough.

 

Maybe since our current circumstances have required we become VERY STUCK, it now takes a VERY BIG DOSE of Aquarius liberation to UNSTICK US. We are wired into some very high frequency energy right now - particularly our Aquarius house theme (natal and progressed) - some kind of 'shake-up' is needed. 

Keep in mind the big-picture, which yes, I need to get a post up about! The Age of Aquarius 2021 battle (first exact square next week!) between Saturn and Uranus as power gets re-distributed which is really what chaos is always all about anyway .... it's becoming clearer and clearer to us all the crap that isn't working. We are going to have to change everything, and, on the other hand, and yes, we always get two -  the world is the best it's ever been and we should be extremely cautious about what we toss out. Also, Mercury is going to meet Jupiter on Valentine's Day, so the potential for more good news! Maybe old opportunities coming back around. 

 

Let's look up, that's where everything is happening anyway.

Today's Astrology Forecast | Tuesday, February 2, 2021 - smart contracts and contacts, hope, expansion, balance, cooperation, getting fired up together

 

 

The Moon continues her journey through Libra. We are nurtured through beauty and balance and fairness and love and our relationships. She trined the Aquarius Sun at 5:49AM EST while both the Sun and the Moon sextile (opportunity) Juno, at 13 degrees Sagittarius. 

The Moon/Sun is this month's Waning Trine. Libra/Aquarius. Your Libra and Aquarius houses, always in flow, both now occupied by the Moon and the Sun, are more powerful. Social activities are favored. Our primary relationships/beauty/women/fairness/balance/cooperation and our groups/causes/the future/the goals that bring us into connection with other people are working together.

That sextile to an optimistic Juno (echoing the relationship focus today) speaks of an opportunity within a partnership, contract or agreement. The Beatles song, "we can work it out" is popping into my head here.

 

The key to today, because we are dealing with air signs (with an equal helping of Sag enthusiasm/fire tossed into the mix) is probably to come together from a higher less emotional space and then allow the Sag fire to expand the energy/heat it up. Today's aspects are fleeting, but potent. The Sun's sextile to Juno being the longest lasting - expansion within our relationships, hope, adding something foreign into the mix/the relationship/the contract/the agreement.

 

The airy/light Sun and Moon line up with fiery Juno and the breeze can catch fire!

MONDAY - Sun squares Mars, Venus enters Aquarius

FRIDAY - Third Quarter Moon (Scorpio)

SUNDAY - Venus conjuncts Saturn,Venus squares Uranus and sextiles Chiron, Sun trines the North Node

Let's jump right into the week ahead!

MONDAY - we talked about this in the daily HERE

FRIDAY - the Moon in Scorpio squares the Sun in Aquarius (16 degrees)

 

Here is this month's Third Quarter Square. Moon square Sun. Scorpio/Aquarius. The Moon in Scorpio wants to go deep/get to the bottom of things/go all in/merge and purge. The Sun in Aquarius likes to come at things from a more intellectual angle, so this square can be something like passion/depth vs intellect/keeping a cool head. 

 

Maybe since the Aqua Sun has us looking ahead/seeing our current situation from a comfortably distant/detached perspective now here comes the deep, passionate and more immediate Moon in Scorpio to complicate our intellectual view of things. Maybe to make us look at the uncomfortable truth here. The problems with the shadow of Aqua themes can come into the light - group/fringe situations, tech, the internet, friendships, the goals that bring us into connection with other people. This can also show up as a need to release - remember the Moon is waning - obsessions, compulsions, jealousy, control, emotional intensity in order to create a smarter future. The Moon will trine (brakes off) dreamy Neptune a few hours later, so we either move into avoidance/escape from this situation or maybe into a higher and more compassionate/connected space depending on how we handle this. 

SUNDAY - Venus conjuncts Saturn (5 degrees Aquarius), then moves on to square Uranus in Taurus (6 degrees) while sextiling Chiron in Aries. The Sun trines the North Node (18 degrees Gemini).

 

Venus is flying through Aquarius. Freedom/independence/something that smells like the future. She gets to 5 degrees and runs SPLAT into Saturn - co-ruler of Aquarius.

 

Here is a reality check (maybe love or money or self-esteem). A limit/the rules/what we can't have.

Hours later Venus (again our love, money, self-esteem) is squaring Uranus (change, liberation) and sextiling Chiron (healing). 

 

So, maybe Venus is kind of bridging the Saturn and Uranus square - which is in play for most of 2021 (first exact square coming in late February). Cooperation/diplomacy - a way through our differences. It's amazing how everything falls together and she ends up right where we need her to be right now!

 

Her square to Uranus speaks of something unpredictable/surprising. Maybe chaotic/shocking. Hard aspects with Uranus can bring sudden JOLTS. This can also be us suddenly attracted to something else or attracting something else. 

 

It doesn't have to be troublesome. It might be. But it will almost certainly be disruptive. 

 

The good news, at the same time Venus is sextiling wounded healer Chiron, indicating opportunities for unique ways of expressing love, being ourselves, making money - to come into the picture in order to heal very deep/very old woundings - maybe around our ability take care of ourselves/stand up for ourselves or just be ourselves. Aries/Aquarius is very independent energy - Aries because they are NEW/first and Aquarius because they are NEW/what's next.

 

At the same time the Sun (at 18 degrees Aquarius) is trining the North Node at 18 degrees Gemini. The future lines up with the future. Maybe being smart/less emotional/humanitarian/tech savvy lines us up with our best way forward. Maybe something that comes through the internet. Maybe this comes through an Aquarius person or Aquarius idea.

Keep in mind the North Node in Gemini is all about questions. Our massive 2020 timeline shift has bought a great deal of questions for us in 2021. Which is perfect actually, because we will have the smoothest ride here if we are asking questions (as opposed to thinking we have all the answers) and dealing with facts. 

 

What we believe (the South Node in Sag) is kind of how we have ended up where we are now - we need to let go of the beliefs that are holding us back and lean into the questions/facts that bring movement, growth through the exchange of information, through contact with our immediate environment, through language. Gemini reigns over: the flow of information, technology, communication, our mental processes, conversations, stories, lies, our local community, our neighbors, our siblings, our transportation and, of course, the theme of your natal Gemini house.

 

Let's pay attention to where we put our attention now, and what is brought to our attention, because the Sun/North Node is a powerful portal for positive change!

Next week, Venus, following in the Sun's footsteps, will meet up with Jupiter (good luck, expansion - this is our two most beneficial planets meeting in the sign of the future during the Aquarius New Moon on the 11th!!) then a retrograde Mercury (rethinking something with love/money/self-esteem) and FINALLY she trines the North Node (fate, our cosmic north star energy) herself.

 

It looks like this week's Venusian challenges (and healing) move us toward next week's expansion, revisions and future-focus.

Today's astrology Forecast | Monday, February 1, 2021 - volatility, impatience, a need for smart cooperation, Mercury is retrograde in air so re-thinking, re-innovating, Aqua gets even more attractive

 

 

I will get the weekly up tonight! Everything is happening at the beginning and end of the week anyway - here's the beginning:

 

The Moon (in solid Virgo) makes a short void this morning off a 6:10AM EST trine to Venus and then moves into Libra at 6:25AM EST. The Libra Moon (as us) is nurtured through balance/fairness, beauty, partnership. She trines Saturn at 3:32PM EST and then Jupiter at 11:57AM EST. The already smooth flow between your Libra and Aqua houses is super-charged!

 

This is the day Venus moves into Aquarius (meeting centaur/asteroid Chariklo). Also the day the Sun in Aquarius squares Mars.

The Sun (at 12 degrees Aquarius) squares Mars (at 12 degrees Taurus). This can be good energy to push to get something moving - yes, via tension and frustration - but we are still moving. But mostly this speaks of our individuality/the group/freedom squared off with our existing resources/values/money. Ego/action and we can take impulsive action that might undermine us. So, we need to be smart. Be responding and not reacting. 

 

This is volatile energy. Drive carefully. Avoid arguments/angry outbursts. Men/"the man" can be asserting their power. We might feel impatient. Be easily irritated.

Venus moves into Aquarius until February 25th. Aquarius Suns and Aquarius rising (Aquarius ruler of first house of your natal chart) get more attractive. Both easier on the eye and able to attract what they want (Venus). All of our natal Aquarius houses become more attractive, too.
 

Our Aquarius house is a space we experience and evolve through Aquarian energies. Maybe by experiencing unexpected situations and unusual experiences. Maybe by being able to detach and get enough distance from something to be able to see it clearly. Maybe through flashes of genius or rebelliousness. Maybe through chaos. Our natal Uranus placement (co-ruler of Aquarius) and its contacts will tell us a more complete story.

Now, we have Venus moving into/through this space. As she moves through Aquarius she will make contact with not only any planets/points we have in Aquarius, but also the planets/points we have in Leo (by opposition), in Scorpio and Taurus (by square) and other planets, too (by sextile, etc).
 

This is where knowing our natal chart can come in handy. As a collective influence, Venus moves out of Capricorn (the rules) and into Aquarius (the space we let go of the rules in order to advance).

Beautiful Venus drops her briefcase full of "shoulds". She takes her hair out of its tightly constructed bun and shakes her head. She kicks off her too-tight, office-ready pumps. She wears whatever she wants to wear now. She can do whatever she wants to do now. There is no one to impress in this new space. There is no one to answer to.

Now subconsciously we all feel this (even though we need to keep in mind Saturn is in early Aquarius and Venus is on a collision course with him - reality check!) a kind of relief as Venus disentangles us a bit from what is required of us to be 'acceptable'. Maybe we start to notice (attract) things we would have otherwise missed. The strange and unusual will catch our eye now. We might be attracted to things/situations/solutions/people that are different. Co-ruled by unpredictable Uranus, Aquarius is the space that is hard to forecast. 

Keep in mind when we step outside the rules (Uranus is outside Saturn's boundaries) our outcomes become less predictable, too.

Venus (beauty) in Aquarius (unique) allows us to see the beauty in things we wouldn't normally regard as beautiful. What would it take to see our crooked teeth as beautiful? our messy house? a real loss? Wouldn't it take detachment? Wouldn't it take an ability to step back a little farther from whatever we are looking at? Detachment is one of the gifts of Aquarius (and also one of the curses if taken too far - think about technology that detaches us from reality). 

 

With Venus in Aquarius we can also grow to appreciate technology or profit from it financially. 

 

The Moon (with her opportunistic trines to Saturn and Jupiter and in Libra answering to Venus), Venus and Chariklo can help us today. 

Chariklo was a wise woman/mentor and married to wounded healer Chiron. She supports us in being more conscious of what we are creating. She has the powerful gift of seeing beyond the horizon, particularly when it comes to science and technology. Venus, of course, is Aphrodite. She brings beauty, fairness, beneficence. Chariklo is a bridge from Saturn to Uranus and, both she and Venus are in Aquarius now answering to both these guys. 

 

Also, Venus will be hooking up with Saturn and squaring Uranus at the end of this week bringing reality checks/solid innovation and more changes and pivot points with our money/resources/Taurus house theme, so heads up on that.

In the meantime, this stellium of planets in Aquarius gets even more super-charged with Venus moving in today. The Sun/Mars square needs to be handled with care - with Merc retrograde in Aquarius, we don't want to toss the baby out with the bathwater. This is a time of review/revision and most especially re-thinking. Patience/the long game will matter and we know we have Venus meeting Saturn at the end of the week, so 'big daddy' kind of checking in later. 

 

Today's energy is good for physical work (that Sun/Mars square). We are in the middle of a snowstorm and there will be shoveling to do here, for example. Keep in mind those Libran diplomatic trines available and all the cooperative feminine energies that can mitigate this egocentric crap and point us toward the future. Just check your impulsive reactions/irritations and keep a cool head.

 

The future/the 2020's/Aquarius will not be stopped. We (especially those like me with fixed planets and points) need to be flexible. Some of what we are dealing with is the effects we set into motion with a cause. Some the results of quantum changes. I am going to get a big-picture post up this week and the weekly up tonight - the big energies this week are today and Saturday, so the week seems to come in and go out with a bang. Love and money could be challenging, but the challenges bring us to next week's GOODIES.
