These Pisces days are slipping right through our fingers, aren't they?
The Sun will be in Aries next week and it feels like we were just talking Aquarius, Aquarius, Aquarius. Well, not to worry because here's a week that's all Pisces all the time! And next week Mercury will finally be out of Aquarius and into Pisces - Pisces is kind of just getting started.
This is the week Venus (in Pisces) squares the Nodes, just like the Sun did last week. Then the Sun (in Pisces) meets Neptune. Then the Pisces Moon meets the Pisces Sun. Then Venus meets Neptune, just like the Sun did this week.
We are all going to need some extra sleep/rest this week. Don't say I didn't warn ya'.
TUESDAY - Venus squares the Nodes
WEDNESDAY - Sun conjuncts Neptune
SATURDAY - New Moon in Pisces, Venus conjuncts Neptune, Mercury leaves retrograde shadow
TUESDAY - Venus at 15 degrees Pisces squares the North (Gemini) and South (Sagittarius) Nodes
Venus, following in the Sun's footsteps from last week, now squares the Nodes of Fate. Here is a crossroads/decision point/pivot point with our money, values, relationships, resources or self-esteem (Venusian themes or natal Pisces house theme).
With Venus in imaginative/illusive Pisces, boundaries dissolve. Love/money flows. What we want can't be forced/grabbed/manipulated - we, almost magically, draw it right to us or maybe it flows right on past us to someone else. There could be some kind of decision to be made here.
The North Node in factual Gemini says it is time to get real/deal with the facts
(the Sun meeting Neptune tomorrow is kind of saying the same thing and we know when we are seeing multiple aspects repeating themselves we are onto something useful).
Maybe there is something we want and we haven't wanted to even admit to ourselves we want it or maybe there is something that isn't as good as we thought it would be or isn't really real and we haven't wanted to look at it too closely. The wide angle lens may have been more flattering (and a flattering wide angle lens doesn't sound actually possible, but stay with me here), but now the macro lens needs to be applied. Is there some Venusian reality we have been avoiding? Forget the greener grass over there, which I guarantee has been nurtured with poisonous Round-Up and instead think local/small, what you can prove/do that is right in front of you. With the North Node in Gemini, the wise girl will keep asking questions instead of thinking she has all the answers.
Gemini/Pisces - DEFINE then ALLOW. And expect to take two shots to get something right or to be doing two things at once or somehow this all involving doubles/pairs.
WEDNESDAY - the Sun, at 20 degrees Pisces, conjuncts Pisces ruler Neptune
Here is where Neptune is blown out by the Sun's bright rays.
Our confusion/delusion is BURNED AWAY (some inspiration might be, too!), sometimes JUST LIKE THAT.
Where am I? And what have I been drinking/believing?
Neptune/Sun says our intuition will be very high now. The Sun cuts through the Neptunian fog like a hot knife. We might be feeling more sensitive/nostalgic/aware of what we have lost ie the old story that is fading to black, (hopefully) the Moon in smart/detached Aquarius meeting both Jupiter and Mercury today - will focus us on the future, too, because -
Neptune starts a new solar year - a new story with the Sun.
Neptune is very strong/most Neptunian in his home sign of Pisces. Here is the very beginnings of a NEW DREAM. With imaginative and poetic Neptune meeting the Sun
an inspiration/creativity/spirituality can be IGNITED.
Whether we are leaning into the burn-out or feeling that spark of the new flame, things are pretty much out of our control anyway with this aspect, so relaxing and going with the flow is best. Avoid intoxicants because life will be intoxicating enough this week. Get enough rest.
SATURDAY - the Pisces Moon meets the Pisces Sun at 23 degrees (our final 23 degrees New Moon!) while Venus meets Neptune at 20 degrees Pisces
A transcendent New Moon in Pisces - we will talk about this BIG NEW MOON in her own post.
Keep in mind Pisces is really about endings. This is the last sign/the 12th house/the final curtain. So a Pisces New Moon will always be tinged with release/nostalgia. Even as something new is floating toward us, something else is floating away. Do we need to release/forgive? Show compassion? Do we have something to offer or someone to offer it to? Where are we? Can we tell?
This is also the day (EST), Venus meets Neptune in Pisces - although she's a little too close to the Sun for complete comfort, so a little burned out, (maybe didn't sleep well the night before, so not her most beautiful/charming self in such harsh light, but Venus in Pisces, even with these new-day crinkles and wrinkles and morning breath is still EXALTED) - this is a beautiful aspect
to make a soulful connection. A timely release of something we once valued/loved. A fresh opportunity to value our creativity, our spirituality, our ancestral inheritance, the idealized feminine, our MAGIC. That dream is looking pretty freakin' attractive and so are we. Happening at the Pisces New Moon gives this one added OOMPH and extra staying power.
Keep in mind, Venus still has to meet the Sun, so some of the glamour here will get burned off when they meet in Aries later in the month - that's OK, we will be ready/and desirous of that cardinal fire when it gets here!
With Uranus (the future/the chaos) in Venus-ruled Taurus, at the end of the day it will be what we personally and collectively value (think about why the #metoo movement and Black Lives Matter movement and this burgeoning reworking of 'male purpose' that needs a catchy name, had to erupt when they did) that determines how the power gets redistributed (what the chaos is actually doing) over the next few years.
xo all
