Today is all about our serious Capricorn Moon.

Cappy Moons can sometimes make us feel like there is no soft place to fall, like mama has gone to work and the kids are home alone. We are just expected to man-it-up. We are nurtured by doing the right thing, being responsible, taking care of business.

Next month's Cappy Moon will be an eclipse on Christmas night!

The Moon is uber busy now and we probably will be, too - sextiling Neptune while we slept (all times EST) - putting a solid foundation under our dreams - sextiling Mercury at 3:39PM - walking our talk, commitments, intense conversations, signing on the dotted line, dealing with sibling issues/local community/transportation issues - Mercury is in the final degrees of his shadow period, walking this ground for the third time (how much clearer do we expect things to get?).

Then the Moon hooks up with Saturn (4:16 PM) - reality, authority issues, stepping into responsibilities, this can feel heavy - and finally goes void off her hook-up with Pluto (10:56 PM) - the final/final, the death/transformation, power.

So take yourself seriously today.  

Keep in mind - words are sticky. Say what you mean and talk about what you DO want and not what you don't. Don't allow your words/thoughts to box yourself in.

Avoid looking back. No wallowing/regret. No guilt trips. Look AHEAD. The future is so bright it would hurt our eyes if we could see it all - maybe that's why we can't.

Venus conjuncts Ceres (in Sagittarius) so nurturing stimulates love/love overcomes grief. Cycle of life issues can be handled more harmoniously/diplomatically/lovingly now. We are expanding, stretching ourselves, moving into new territory/new beliefs together.

Jupiter is now at the final degree of his home sign - actually conjunct with an asteroid named "Truth". What do we believe now? What do we have faith in now? This is the home stretch for something. He will be in Capricorn by Monday - whatever is being solidified now is going to stick and expand.

There is positive, forward motion. Maybe it's time to set into order what feels disorganized or chaotic. The Capricorn Moon is growing. Nothing easy happens in Capricorn, but the stuff we build gets built to last.

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 27, 2019 - the morning after, easier to figure out the right thing, what's real comes with us, old triggers around love, money and self-esteem pushing us toward something new

The Moon continues her journey through fiery Sagittarius - squaring a retrograde Neptune at 6:37AM EST (avoid over-doing, pay attention to your dreams) and then building toward her final conjunction with Jupiter in his home sign for 12 years (exact tomorrow morning) - Jupiter will be in Capricorn on Monday folks.

An hour after his square to the Moon, Neptune stations direct at 15 degrees Pisces - after his five month retrograde (he stationed at 18 degrees).

Sometimes when Neptune stations direct, it's like the morning after we have what seemed like a great idea and now it doesn't seem so great anymore - the delusions/illusions of the last few months/weeks are swept out to sea. This can bring a kind of melancholy (or maybe for some a relief). At the same time fresh creativities are being birthed and the dreams that need to move forward can. By tomorrow - Neptune will be more stable, the Moon will have moved into practical Capricorn - we will know what is real, from what is not real.

If we have been having trouble figuring out what is the "right" thing to do - that is about to get a whole lot easier.

As Neptune moves forward he will make an opportunistic sextile to Vesta (in Taurus). Some issue/situation involving our resources/money/values or self esteem - can shift now. The dreams that are meant to move forward with us and the stuff we are devoted to that we can hold in our hand/the stuff that keeps us up at night working together. This is a repeating aspect we will have again in early February. We are harmonizing the spiritual realms and the very ground beneath our feet.

Keep the focus. Keep moving forward.

At the same time we have Venus moving into her own painful square with Chiron. Money issues, love tangles, self-esteem situations - whatever is hurting has its roots in older/deeper woundings. Venus will move on to a trine with Uranus by tomorrow (smooth change, nice surprises) and the Moon will be making some nice aspects, too - so tomorrow is another day, so to speak.

The Moon is waxing (growing). The Cappy pile-up is GROWING, too. Jupiter is in Sagittarius for only a few more days. By tomorrow, our heads will be clearer and  all systems really are set to GO. No more excuses. There is a gift being offered to you through your natal Sagittarius house theme - it may not look exactly the way you were hoping it would look, but an ADVENTURE is being offered.

New Moon in Sagittarius | November 26, 2019 - the new adventure, a wise beginning with some surprises, adjustments, agreements reached, win-wins, healing, expansion, learning and more than a little luck

On Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10:05AM EST, the Sagittarius Moon meets the Sagittarius Sun giving us this month's New Moon and our annual New Moon in fiery Sagittarius.

Sagittarius is a mutable sign. The mutable signs prepare us for the change into the next season and this Moon really has her work cut out for her!

New Moons are the time to set new intentions and working with Sagittarius themes (and the themes of your Sagittarius natal house) NOW allow the natural energies to work with us. As the Moon waxes (grows) over the next two weeks, and really over the next 6 months, so does whatever our intentions set into motion.

Sagittarius is a fun-loving sign (ruled by Jupiter and ruler of our collective 9th house) that rules travel, freedom, adventure, legal issues, higher education, politics, the media, good luck, faith, religion, weddings, optimism, truth seekers, boldly going where no man has gone before, THE QUEST  -

it also rules carelessness, taking shortcuts, thinking we are right, making assumptions, throwing pink paint on problems and looking at something else, overconfidence, impatience and superficial fluff.

Besides the monthly lunar energy of "new beginnings" this particular Moon has its own relationship with the other players in the heavens based on its position. That is where the real juice of any particular New Moon can be found.

So, let's unpack the chart!

The Moon/Sun are just past their inconjunct to Uranus and trine to Chiron. Something about this fresh start is unexpected - maybe not exactly what we had planned and we have had to or will have to adjust - and also this is somehow healing; maybe able to make us more self-sufficient or require us to step into our personal authority, learn to deal with our anger/passion issues.

Since the Moon and Sun are past these aspects (just barely though) this stuff could be in the recent past.

The Moon/Sun are moving quickly toward a meeting with Pallas (the Moon gets there today and the Sun gets there on Saturday) - wisdom, new strategies, focusing on greater optimism and greener pastures and the BIG-PICTURE are pulling whatever we are starting now FORWARD. 

We can make wise, informed choices even as we adjust to whatever surprise or future-focused change Uranus is/has tossed our way. Pallas is sextile (opportunity) Juno in cooperative, balanced and diplomatic Libra. Agreements are reached. New relationship chapters begin. It's a win/win.

The Moon/Sun are exactly semi-sextile Mars. I had been taught semi-sextiles were problem aspects like inconjuncts, but I haven't found in my own work that to really be the case. I usually find them bringing in some kind of balance (kind of opposite of the way inconjuncts bring us the rock and the hard place). In this case with Scorpio (Mars) and Sagittarius (Moon) it suggests the Moon (and Sun) providing optimism to Mars more cynical maneuverings and in reverse, Mars (in Scorpio) bringing depth and discernment to any tendency of the Sagittarius Moon to take something too far or to move solely on faith or bravado.

Jupiter rules Sagittarius and so rules this New Moon.

Sitting at the Galactic Center (black hole at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy) he really powers this energy up. Having just had a nice chat with Venus - we will look at her next - and almost finished with his year-long journey through his home sign (Jupiter brings the goodies at the beginning of his transit through a sign and at the end) - he is in an excellent position to provide luck, expansion and abundance now.

Venus, powered up from her meeting with Jupiter at the Galactic Center moves into real-deal Capricorn just hours before the New Moon. This makes the stuff we attract now more stabilizing/more sticky. More tangible. We can hold it in our hands. Kiss it good-night. Take it to the bank. Keep in mind Cappy requires work and living up to responsibilities/taking things seriously.

Mercury is direct at 14 degrees Scorpio, a degree he/she walked retrograde back on November 15th, so something now could connect back to that time. This is his final walk over this degree so something we were dealing with (maybe through re-vison, etc) at that time could change course/move forward at this time. And she/he is moving toward that flowing trine to dreamy Neptune on Thursday

(third time's the charm with that conversation/information or sibling/local community/transportation issue).

So, this is a fresh start for our Sagittarius house theme - a smart new beginning that broadens our experience and/or expands our reach or beliefs - with a surprise twist coming from our Taurus house theme and some healing/learning coming from our Aries house theme. Partnerships/other people create opportunities and win-wins.

With the ruler of the New Moon moving through the Galactic Center - almost anything is possible!

Weekly Astrology Forecast for Creatives | Week of November 25, 2019 - love and money vulnerabilities are triggered, the revised dream is moving forward, New Moon brings new strategies to expand our reach and get lucky, third time's the charm and here we go

SUNDAY - Venus conjunct Jupiter, Mars opposes Uranus
MONDAY - Venus into Capricorn
TUESDAY - New Moon in Sagittarius (4 degrees) conjunct Pallas
WEDNESDAY - Neptune stations direct, Venus squares Chiron
THURSDAY - Venus trines Uranus and Mercury trines Neptune

Another busy week with a whole lot of emotional intensity!

We start the week with the dark (balsamic) Moon in Scorpio now - a contemplative/investigatory kind of energy.  

SUNDAY'S forecast is HERE and keep in mind the conjunction of Venus/Jupiter (attracting luck through faith/our beliefs) like all conjunctions is the start of a new CYCLE, this doesn't all happen on Sunday - we are just getting started with this! Happening in Sagittarius - a fire sign - we are going to have to take action to get the most out of this one, but it will be worth it.

On MONDAY, Venus (love, money, women, values, self-esteem, beauty) moves into Capricorn. Moving toward a square to Chiron on Wednesday - whatever is hurting here - the fix is Saturnian (ruler of Capricorn). Take it seriously. Do the work. Clean the bathroom. Yada, yada.

Capricorn is the sign of structure and discipline. In Capricorn season (winter) these are the qualities that kept our ancestors alive. When Venus visits this space of the heavens these are the qualities that help us attract what we want and need.

Capricorn Suns and Risings get more attractive now (more able to attract what they want and easier on the eye). Our Capricorn houses (natal) become more attractive, too.

This is the time to get serious with Venus ruled themes. There is beauty in a balanced checkbook. Make a budget (even if it means we give ourselves a cash allowance each week and stop spending when it's gone). Check our insurance policies - do we need more insurance? Do we need all this insurance? Can we find our insurance policies if we need them? Do we have the right paperwork in our car? And this doesn't have to be about insurance, of course, but you get the idea.

Where are we investing our resources - time, esteem, money? What are we getting back? Are we putting a whole lot of time into one thing, but all our revenue is coming from this other thing?

Sometimes this is ok, but maybe it's not. It's time to check in with ourselves.

Venus in Capricorn is an excellent time for organizing our finances/business so we can attract more money that sticks. We recognize we attract what we earn (ie if we've attracted it, we HAVE earned it), so we get to KEEP it.

(we really only have to earn everything by the sweat of our brow if we believe we do, although with Venus in Capricorn there will be sweat!)

Tradition will become a focus - the way something has always been done. This doesn't mean we have to continue doing things the way we've always done them, and in fact we have to watch out for being too rigid now and denying ourselves stuff that feels good. 

With Venus in Capricorn we get more serious about love, too.

If a relationship isn't going anywhere, this can be the transit we cut it loose. Our focus returns to what is real. We attract stability and longer lasting success/love/money by finishing what we start and honoring our commitments. Venus will be in Capricorn until December 20th.

On TUESDAY, the Sagittarius Moon meets the Sagittarius Sun at 4 degrees giving us this month's New Moon - approaching a conjunction with strategic Pallas; a smart and expansive NEW BEGINNING kicks off. This date also is exactly one month before the Solar Eclipse of December 26th, 2019, and sometimes eclipse events trigger one month to the day before or after. We'll talk about this one in the next post! It's a BIGGIE!

On WEDNESDAY, Neptune stations direct today at 15 degrees Pisces. Pisces people and anyone with a strong Neptune or planets from 15-18 degrees of the water (Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces) and mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) will feel this change of direction, although maybe not immediately. Stay grounded. Stay sober.

Neptune is challenging and remember with challenging transits sometimes all we have to do is survive them. Sometimes we just have to absorb the energetic shifts. We evolve through that. We just have to be still standing or sitting or laying down (just not in a big, old wooden box) when the transit is over.

Neptune rules our imagination, dreams, spirituality, escape, addiction, art, illusion, delusion, intuition, healing, hospitals, connection, compassion, sacrifice, the things put away, the ocean, the things we do last, the 12th house, the sign of Pisces. Like steam from a hot shower forming on a clean mirror he fogs up whatever he contacts, doubly so when he is moving backward (from our perception here on Earth) which he has been doing since late June.

For people touched by this, and for everyone to some degree, especially since he has been very strong in his home sign of Pisces since 2012 (continues through 2025), this retrograde has been a process of something dissolving/fading away/dealing with the past and endings. He had been squaring Jupiter keeping expanding things from getting too big too fast, but also dissolving faith/luck.

Now that he is direct - there is forward motion with something here, forward motion with our DREAMS.

We could also be more intuitively sure about something that isn't totally logical.

His first contact direct will be when Mercury reaches 15 degrees Scorpio on Thursday and gives us a nice smooth water trine. Compassion, connection, forgiveness. We are going with the flow now. YAY for that.

Also on Wednesday, Venus (freshly minted in Cappy) reaches her exact square to hurting/healing Chiron. We could be feeling vulnerable about any professional/public insecurities/rejections or facing painful situations involving the theme of our Capricorn natal house.

Are we going to stay limited/stuck by our own wounds?

I don't think so because on THURSDAY, Venus moves out of her painful square and into a smooth trine with forward-leaning change-maker Uranus. This speaks of NEW financial/relationship potentials that are pulling us forward. Change is good. This may not all be looking exactly the way we thought it would, but that's OK.

At the same time Mercury moves into her/his third trine with Neptune - third time's the charm here because now BOTH planets are direct and moving forward.

The conversation/information/idea may not be totally new, we've been here before in some way - but an issue we have been working through since the first trine on October 15th is moving forward now.

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 24, 2019 - risk and reward, love expands, what we want wants us right back, a silver lining with any break now

The Moon, in Scorpio now so nurtured through intimacy/depth/merging, meets Mars at 6:36AM EST (passion, initiative, conflict), moves into an opposition to Uranus at 6:51AM EST (break-ups, breakthroughs, breakdowns - maybe a preview of Mars/Uranus in a few hours) and finally conjuncts Mercury at 10:40PM EST (deep conversations, verbal intimacy, getting to the bottom of things, crunching the numbers, our heart and head aligned). This is an active/emotional Moon, so we will be feeling our way through things.

This is the day Venus catches up with Jupiter (28 degrees Sagittarius) on their way out of Sag and conjunct the Galactic Center (black hole at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy - seat of creation). This could feel very good or very disappointing. Somehow we GET ALOT. Love grows. We are more attractive to luck, so apt to GET LUCKY. Good fortune. We expand our reach through socializing, through kindness, through our faith in other people. We are attracted to that green grass over there/to what is foreign to us/to what feels like a STRETCH.

At the same time Mars (in Scorpio) moves through his opposition to "anything-can-happen" Uranus (in Taurus). Impulsive action - which we could regret, so be careful here, if this is something you had never thought about before. Our actions may surprise us as well as the actions of other people. If something needs to change though - here is the energy to make that happen very quickly. Keep in mind Scorpio and Taurus don't play, so bridges may be burned here.

Breakdowns. Break-ups. Breakthroughs.

I lived through this entire scenario last week, with a dream come true right in the palm of my hand, which I then looked at more closely (Mercury was still retrograde then, so this should be more stable THIS week), so closely I could only see the one problem in the dream, which being the over-thinking Aquarian I am designed to be, lost sight of the 90% good stuff, and blew up the whole thing before it even really got started which I have deeply regretted all week, although my faith in my own intuitive core and the astrology here of a silver lining have kept me moving forward and will do the same for you if you screw this up, but hopefully YOU WON'T.

And I am not saying I did, but maybe I did, although there was a dark underbelly that would have been hard for me to work with. But, still ... sniffle.

This combination Venus/Jupiter coupled with Mars/Uranus speaks of RISK AND REWARD.

All year we've had this theme of what we have to give up to get to something better/more stable/more expansive/more authentic. Maybe this is more of that.

If we attract (Venus) something incredible we will have to have the faith to see it through, even though we can't see exactly where all this is going. And keep in mind with Venus/Jupiter we will tend to 'pay too much' in one way or the other and things tend to turn out not quite as rosy as we pictured. 

On the other hand, if something collapses/breaks, we will have to have the faith to see this was necessary to get us to the space of really knowing what we want (maybe by losing it?). This "losing it" might not need to happen if we are already clear on wanting what we get/have here and not too fussy that it isn't exactly what we ordered up. On the other hand - does that make two or three hands now? - this "losing it" might HAVE to happen because it isn't the right thing/right now and that dark underbelly, if there is one, is .. well, just too dark.

As always authenticity/knowing ourselves/trusting life MATTERS.  

As of right now, my experience with this transit has been heartbreaking (and having almost no one but myself to blame is doubling the impact), but likely because I moved too fast and then pulled back, throwing myself ahead of my horse, so to speak, and landing on my ass.

So if you are going to go for it - go for it. Move toward that BIG LOVE/what your heart wants. Don't let fear hold you back or the idea that something isn't exactly perfect. If something breaks apart - have faith in the silver lining and that life has a bigger/better plan lining up for us, the New Moon on Tuesday will help see to that ....

Sorry to be so insufferably vague about my situation, but I feel it still ironing itself out somehow in some way I can't quite foresee (no clear crystal ball here I am afraid) and that I do not want my written words to influence the outcome - oh, and buy a lottery ticket ...

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 23, 2019 - a light shines on something healing, taking transformative action, good date night, keep a cool head and drive safely

The Moon, in partnership-focused Libra and so nurtured through other people now - squared Saturn while we slept and squares Pluto (tension around power struggles, other people's money, emotional transformation within relationships) at 10:31AM EST, making relationship issues potentially stressful early in the day and this time best for solitary work.

By the evening she is in much better spirits, sextiling (opportunity) Venus, her ruler while in Libra, at 8:59PM EST, and then going void off a sextile to Jupiter an hour later.

A good date night, good for creativity and socializing.

In the meantime Mars is moving toward his exact opposition to chaotic Uranus (exact tomorrow) so take care driving, avoid unneeded arguments and any impulsive bridge burnings - keep the knives in the drawer people!

The best news today is we have our Sun (freshly minted in optimistic Sagittarius) trining Chiron (in Aries) while Mars (in Scorpio) sextiles Ceres (freshly minted in Capricorn).

Sun/Chiron suggests addressing what hurts with greater faith and optimism. A light could shine on something healing now. Mars/Ceres is about taking transformative action around change of life situations, nurturing, special pets, mothering, things that feel outside our control. 

And keep in mind our North Node in Cancer's imperative for us to take care of ourselves, too.

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 22, 2019 - lightening up, thinking about the possibilities, making a vision board, planning our next adventure

Today's Moon in partnership-nurtured Libra moves through the day unaspected. This could make it harder to get anything going today. Just keep moving forward. The Moon is waning so there is undoubtedly something that needs wrapping up.

With Mercury direct now and the Sun moving into the "bigger-is-better" greener pastures of Sagittarius today, the intensity of the last few weeks will be easing up day-by-day.

We move to a higher ground with a clearer focus.

Sagittarius is a fun-loving sign that rules travel, freedom, adventure, legal stuff, higher education, luck (based on what we believe), faith, religion, prayer, optimism, problem solving, truth seekers, boldly going where no man has gone before, the quest.

The Sun will shine a light on something here.

It also rules carelessness, taking shortcuts, thinking we are right, making assumptions, throwing pink paint on problems and hoping they will go away, overconfidence, impatience and superficial fluff.  

The Sun will shine a light on something here, too. It's time to address the stuff that is keeping us playing small.

With only a few more days of Jupiter in his home sign (Sagittarius) and with most of this year spent under the draining effects of Neptune's square, hopefully there is something we can sink our teeth into here over the next few days.

What we believe becomes much more important than what we know now. There is a reason the season belongs to that chubby guy in the red suit!

With Venus (attraction) meeting Jupiter (our beliefs) on Sunday - optimism, positivity and our beliefs in something bigger/better will give our attraction powers extra OOMPH.

With Venus and the Sun (not to mention Jupiter) in Sagittarius now - this is a good day to look toward a brighter, more EXPANSIVE future.

This would be an excellent weekend to make a vision board.

I believe vision boards should be compiled thoughtfully but not too thoughtfully - we want to keep our right brain from gumming up the works as much as possible. This isn't about just grabbing a bunch of pictures of stuff we want.

Use the images and words that are calling your name - don't over-think it.

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 20, 2019 - a load off our mind, the indecision ends, moving forward from this deeper/more intimate and more honest space

The Moon is in solid, practical Virgo now - we are nurtured through taking care of the day-to-day stuff, getting things organized, dotting our i's and crossing our t's, being of service to others. Other people will be, too.

The Moon trined a retrograde Uranus at 3:12AM EST (maybe we wake with an "aha!" moment or practical, yet creative ideas about how to change or improve something) and goes on to sextile Mercury at 4:32PM EST (rational/reasonable conversations that move situations forward).

This is a couple hours after Mercury stations direct - Mercury retrograde ends at 2:12PM EST - so talks, communications, contracts, commerce, all get green-lighted now. 

We are ready to move forward with what we KNOW after this back and forth of the last few weeks. The beans have been spilled (secrets out). The information thoroughly plowed through.

Any ways we have misinterpreted/misunderstood the FACTS are apparent now. We are moving forward from this space of greater clarity.

Mercury won't be covering totally new ground until December 7th, so there will still be some clean-up to do. Our Moon in Virgo today will help.

Ceres move into sober Capricorn means she is squaring Chiron now. Cycle of life issues, tough love nurturing that feels more like punishment, situations that are outside our control are particularly painful and trigger other/older times we stood up for ourselves or allowed ourselves to get angry or had to tackle something all alone.

Throughout 2019 we have had Saturn on the South Node in Capricorn. We are CLOSING out some very big cycles that have carried us, and our ancestors, through many centuries. The South Node has lightened our load, but it can feel like we have lost things we still need - but we do not for this next part of our journey (I know we might still not be seeing how this is possible, but it is). 

We could be dealing with fear and grief over the fact we can't go back. Regrets. The stuff behind us isn't even there anymore.

Keep in mind the North Node is in Cancer, allowing our vulnerabilities to show/moving toward what feels like home/what makes us more HUMAN brings out the best in our Capricorn house that is being unrooted.

We have been/are being moved away from primal attachments and Saturn (as us) hangs on to things, he doesn't let go. Our bodies - and Saturn rules our 3D reality - are genetically programmed to crave what is familiar (see the work of Candace Pert and others), so this can be painful and challenging work.

There is a certain comfort in sitting in a situation that is never going to work out - that allows us to play comfortably small, but with Jupiter moving into Capricorn in just a couple weeks - whatever we are carrying is going to get BIGGER. Fresh starts will grow, but so will our winter asses - and business challenges, bad-marriages and financial quagmires - whatever we carry with us.

(it is human-nature to crave change, BUT we want to pick and choose what changes - we want a fun, and profitable creative business (for example), but we still want to sit on the couch with an asshole boyfriend who treats us like crap on Saturday night and watch the tellie - it is situations like this where we split ourselves into multiple people that pull us out of our integrity - in this example wanting other people to value us/what we create when we don't value us - so we are teetering on an unsteady ladder just waiting for a strong wind to knock us on our ass - with Mars in Scorpio until the end of the year the potential for self-sabotage greatly increases)

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 19, 2019 - fiery females, our natural spotlight vs our fears or some truth that's been dug up, focused efforts, major download/reboot around what we believe is possible

We begin the day with the Moon in a nice trine to Venus (in Sagittarius) the feminine energies are fiery, passionate - ready to GO. She will move on to trine (brakes off) expansive Jupiter this afternoon.

The Moon goes void at 4:11PM EST in fun-loving, but also proud and stubborn Leo, off a square to the Sun (in Scorpio), giving us this month's Third Quarter Square and continuing to perform while void. This is tension/frustration between what our heart wants/our own natural space in the spotlight vs whatever has been uncovered during Scorpio season/secrets/fears/the gunk underneath the shiny spaces. Obsession. Manipulation. Jealousy. Maybe fear of stepping up out of the shadows and onto the main stage?

At 8:54PM EST the Moon moves into practical and organized Virgo where she will sextile Mars (now in Scorpio) at 9:47PM EST. We are reflecting on how we take action. Thinking our next steps through.

The big news today is Mars move into the fixed waters of Scorpio - a sign he once ruled and is still uber comfortable ... and somewhat dangerous. Our actions become more focused, more strategic, more committed.

We can get alot done with Mars in Scorpio, let's just make sure it is stuff worth doing.

Scorpio rules death (and the inevitable rebirth that follows), so our actions can be focused on cutting off what we don't want. With Mars move into Scorpio on Mercury's last day retrograde here - maybe on things we no longer want.

Scorpio is our fixed water sign. It's job is to strengthen our emotions. But fixed water is well, kind of fixed. Think frozen. Think concrete. Think quicksand. It can make it hard to change course if we get too emotionally wedded to whatever it is we are focused on.

Stay flexible somehow.

This is a good time to take action with Scorpio ruled themes - other people's resources, debts, loans, inheritances, mortgages, taxes, insurance payments, intimacy, sex, reproduction, death issues, stuff that is dead in the water (or caught in the quicksand). With Mars blasting through this collective area we will have more energy, initiative and control over these subjects than we usually do.

Keep in mind we will also be more passionate about them and easier to anger. 

Mars in Scorpio moves toward an uncomfortable inconjunct (rock and a hard place) with Chiron in Aries - exact on Thursday. Old wounds around standing up for ourselves, being able to take care of ourselves, stuff that is outside our control and our wounded male warrior energy are triggered by our actions and those of other people. Intimacy/the merging of resources etc will come at a cost. Standing up for ourselves will come at a cost.

No easy way through this (in play for a couple days).

Jupiter - making his way over the Galactic Center (seat of creation) reaches exactness now.

This is a once in twelve year download and our natal Jupiter (our beliefs about what is possible, etc) becomes a brand-new man.

Keep in mind the Galactic Center is located in Sagittarius, the space Jupiter rules, so this could be a gentle expanding into greener pastures right "over there" (the other energies at play this week, make me think this could as easily be an uncomfortable expanding by way of endings/chaotic change - stay flexible).

Venus will meet Jupiter here this week (annual download for her) attracting what we believe/have faith in -

On TUESDAY, Mars moves into Scorpio (a sign he once ruled) until January 3rd. FINALLY out of his detriment in Libra, he (as us) moves into a much stronger position now.

Because Scorpio likes to pre-meditate, with Mars (action, initiative, passion, anger) here we will think about what we are going to do before we do it. And, yes, that sounds slightly criminal and mostly devious, but this is Scorpio we are talking about! Our actions become more focused. More intimate. No more Libran fence sitting.

This energy works pretty well with the wrap-up of Mercury's retrograde energy in Scorpio we have been dealing with since Halloween - re-do, re-visit, re-think, re-vamp, re-define.

Here is clarity. Forward momentum.

The final message of this retrograde season is delivered (or maybe it was delivered on Monday).

What has happened since Mercury first started covering her/his retrograde degrees in the middle of October - what resources have been co-mingled, what uncomfortable conversations were had or information/truth uncovered? what have we be going back and forth over? what death/rebirth?

We finally start moving forward again from this older and wiser position - keep in mind Mercury won't be covering entirely new ground until December 7th.

On FRIDAY, the Sun moves into "bigger is better" Sagittarius.

Travel, places outside our comfort zones, foreign issues or people, education (higher than what we have now), anything we are taking to a higher level, politics, religion, legal issues, weddings, the media and marketing -this is Sagittarius territory, Jupiter territory, our Sagittarius house theme will also get a great big fiery spotlight.

What we believe becomes much more important than what we know now.

There is a reason the season belongs to Santa Claus!

Jupiter (Sag ruler) at the Galactic Center as the Sun moves into Sagittarius is BIG news. What does our truth look like now? What do we really believe? So much has happened on the planet to show us that anything is possible.

But is that what we are seeing? Or are we seeing everything falling apart?

Remember so much inside us has changed since 2012 and the outer world has been struggling to catch up with us (yes, I know it looks like it is the other way around, but looks are deceiving here).

With the Sun in Sagittarius we will all be needing a little more freedom to wander and explore beyond our comfort zones into unknown places and spaces. The path we find ourselves on during these travels could be inhabited by unicorns and rainbows or stone throwing orks - either way we will need the faith to know that no matter what happens we will be OK.

The Sun in Sagittarius (we are all burning Sagittarius fuel now) truly makes that possible.

Now that the Sun has moved into Sagittarius he starts to trine (brakes off) Chiron in Aries. This is the warm healing balm we need for the pain triggered by our actions earlier in the week. On SATURDAY, it is Venus's turn to conjunct the Galactic Center. Creativity, love, money, our values and self-esteem are being re-activated/re-set - and then on

SUNDAY - Venus catches up to Jupiter. Some astrologers call this the luckiest day of the year. We are encouraged to have faith. We attract (Venus) what we want by our beliefs/enthusiasm (Jupiter). By stretching outside our comfort zone. MEGA-POTENTIAL. Happening in Jupiter's home sign immediately after both planets are recharged by their journey over the Galactic Center only powers this one up (plus we no longer have Jupiter's draining square to Neptune to deal with).

The fly in the ointment on Sunday is Mars moves into his opposition with Uranus. Power shifts. Financial disruptions. We will have to take care with this one and will talk about it more as we move through the week.

Today's Astrology Forecast | Novmeber 15, 2019 - void moon in the morning, our focus turns to that home/family/real estate/mother situation, change is good tonight, another brick in the wall

Todays' Gemini Moon goes void at 6:40AM EST off a trine to Mars - so stays productive. She will be void until 11:15AM when she moves home to Cancer likely turning our attention to home, family, real estate, nourishing, mothering/security situations. She quickly squares Chrion leaving us easily triggered and uber sensitive for awhile. At 6:15PM EST she sextiles (opportunity) a retrograde Uranus - we are nurtured by doing something different, through unusual people and situations. We are in emotional alignment with the hive-mind. Change is good.

Ceres moves into sober Capricorn preparing for her part in the upcoming Saturn/Pluto conjunction. With the Moon in Cancer and Ceres changing signs - mothering issues might take precedence. Ceres in Capricorn is the winter mom (turn off the lights, close the door, you weren't raised in a barn) and the working mom.

Nurturing is serious business. Things will need to be done just so. No dessert until we have cleaned our plate. Access to those soft spaces to fall will depend on the Moon's placement now. Another celestial body in the sign of the reality police. Beginnings. Endings. Walls.

Ceres moves from the green fields of Sagittarius into the snow covered mountains of Capricorn.

Can life get any more serious?

Yes, it somehow does.

Ceres rules nurturing, food, the seasons/nature, mothering, situations with special pets, season of life issues, loss/rebirth, things outside our control - something here gets more serious or we need to take it more seriously. Boundaries are defined. We will feel nurtured when things are organized. Hugs can feel off-limits (sniffle) - this is the energy of mom and daughter working together. Or mom working and daughter/son comes home to a cold kitchen and dinner needs to be started. Not because mom isn't caring, but because mom needs to bring home the bacon. This is more efficient. This keeps everyone alive.

If we are dealing with a situation outside our control - we will do what needs to be done now.

Situations with important pets need to be taken seriously.

Health situations need to be taken seriously, too.

Nutrition will be especially important (I type this eating a Milano cookie for breakfast, Ceres won't be in Capricorn until late tonight - note to self - get some real food in this house today!). We could find ourselves working through our meals now or eating more sparingly. Setting goals around what we eat would be a good way to use this energy. Treating our body as a machine will not.

Ceres will be in Capricorn until February 1, 2020.

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 14, 2019 - overwhelm, uncertainty, fantasy clashing with our self-esteem or our wallet, expansion, intuition, new beliefs creating our new reality

Today's Gemini Moon is going to oppose Venus at 9:15AM EST and square Neptune a few minutes later while Venus is reaching her own exact square to Neptune. So we have a fast moving mutable t-square (overwhelm, changing circumstances/emotions, too much happening at once) and a longer Venus/Neptune square playing out (the fantasy clashing with our self-esteem, our money, our values, women or maybe what just isn't fun anymore or what do we have to give up to get what we want?).

And our stressed out Moon is answering to a retrograde Mercury! How are we supposed to decide, figure out what is important, etc?! Well, sometimes we just can't.

Jupiter is at the Galactic Center (our homing signal) - we aren't going to know exactly where everything is going because we are all creating this next reality TOGETHER.

Things can't be DEFINED and understood right now with our minds.

Our beliefs/craving for expansion (Jupiter!) are moving things forward. Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus.

Pretty much anything we do now can succeed (even beyond our wildest dreams and in ways we can't begin to imagine) or fail - in the sense that our expectations are skewed to begin with, in another sense things can't/don't really fail, they simply evolve and yes, I realize this thinking doesn't always help when things feel that they are failing - ugh.

We are going to have to go with our intuition because our brain is fried out and overwhelmed at the moment.

Maybe this space of not knowing (probably reached by knowing too much - all the information coming at us these days is insanity producing) or kind of feeling half-dead is where life had to get us, so we don't overthink every move we are going to make! When we have lost everything and don't know what we want - we are kind of ready for anything, aren't we?

This journey has been going on forever and always will be.

(and if you are feeling particularly drained now, know that we have a HUGE awakening coming next spring - hang in there and keep moving forward)

I would suggest to go with the flow now. What is right in front of us? What needs to be done first? What do you want to do? Keep in mind we have all the stabilizing energy of that Full Moon in play now, too. Something lasting. Structure. What we can hold in our hands. What we have built and are building.

Our minds will want us to PROVE our intuition and that isn't going to work. We will be chasing our own tail and calling that a journey.

Today's mutable energies will require adjustments. A give and take. This tension/frustration is necessary. We don't have to be the smartest person in the room. We don't have to get it all done. We don't have to know how everything will turn out to reach for our turn. Really. If we are burning the candle at both ends, keep in mind that Cancer Moon is coming.

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 13, 2019 - important conversations, diving into the information, talking about it again, words are sticky, stepping into our power and responsibility

The Moon moved into busy and communicative Gemini at 3:46AM EST. Talks, information, errands, commerce, dealings within our local community, with siblings and transportation issues will be on the agenda for the next couple days. Ideas and information - caught up in the powerful portal of yesterday's Full Moon in Taurus - will have a life of their own now.

Mercury (retrograde in Scorpio) will trine Neptune (15 degrees Pisces) and then move on to sextile Saturn (16 degrees Capricorn). The Scorpio Sun sextiles Pluto (back now to 21 degrees Capricorn).

What a day! Don't waste it.

This is the time to have important conversations (don't put this off until tomorrow when Mercury - through us - will be more stressed), go deep into the financials or whatever we are going over. Whatever the Sun is bringing to light now, wherever we are involving our energy in MATTERS.

Mars is sextiling Jupiter encouraging partnerships and EXPANSION through other people, through balance and cooperation. We get more flies with honey now.

Full Moon in Taurus | November 12, 2019 - results and opportunities we have earned, that thing that once kept us up at night, action and initiative makes us lucky, what we do with what we know

At 8:34AM EST, the Taurus Moon reaches 19 degrees and opposes the Scorpio Sun at 19 degrees giving us this month's Full Moon in Taurus - the sign of the Moon's exaltation.

Full Moons bring things to light, to a peak, to a CULMINATION.

Let's unpack the chart!

This Full Moon is happening in your Taurus house - what house holds Taurus in your natal and progressed charts and what is the theme of that house? Collectively Taurus rules the 2nd house of our money, our values, our valuables/resources (including the planet Earth), our self-esteem.

Full Moons are oppositions. Happening on the Taurus/Scorpio axis could bring into play what we own vs what other people own, our money and their money (and 'their' includes people, banks, loans, inheritances, taxes, etc), intimacy issues, life and death issues (literally and figuratively), how we merge, what we are holding onto. Taurus is solid, fixed, practical, earthy energy. This isn't about ideas or abstractions - this is about something we can actually touch. This Full Moon will reflect that.

The Moon is conjunct a retrograde asteroid Vesta; Goddess of hearth and home. Her sacred flame in the temple of Vesta was kept alive 24/7 by the Vestal Virgins (Virgin meaning woman who wasn't owned by a man) to warm the city and provide a space of peace and stability. We could be returning to an issue that ONCE KEPT US UP AT NIGHT or something that once brought us comfort/safety or closing something out here. We are likely focused on our existing resources.

The Sun is conjunct Mercury (retrograde in Scorpio). Mercury has backed away from the Sun now. A new Mercury cycle has started. The information has been delivered. The idea is out there. The conversation had. The contract, probably not signed, but in an astral sense 'sealed and delivered'. She/he will be back to these degrees at the end of the month, but won't meet the Sun again until January 10th (results delivered - kaboom).

Venus, ruler of Taurus, and so ruler of this lunation is in the middle of Sagittarius now. Making us more attractive to our big-picture dreams, expanding the breadth of what we WANT. Venus in Sagittarius brings wanderlust. We want to roam/go bigger with something. If we look at the chart we see she is moving toward a square with Neptune (in Pisces) followed by a semi-sextile to Saturn (in Capricorn). Venus square Neptune can make things seem better than they actually are. We could be deceived. We could be deceiving ourselves. This is followed by that semi-sextile to Saturn - maybe we are pulled back from the ledge or from taking something too far or from spending too much or from losing our boundaries? The sextile could help stabilize things - help us from combining the worst of Sagittarius and Pisces and leaping off into lalaland.

The Moon is trining the midpoint of the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn - the Cappy pile-up has our back now, we can face reality. With an earth trine things can fall into place through physical action. This makes whatever we have going on now both stabilizing/lasting and POWERFUL. What are we discarding vs what are we wanting to adhere into place? The power is in US now. This is more of the commit or quit energies we have been talking about since the New Moon in Scorpio a couple weeks ago.

Commitments made now are going to be LONG LASTING. Slow growing probably, but certainly stabilizing and lasting.

If this is a result, and Full Moons often bring results, we will have put in alot of hard work, focus, time and energy already. WE HAVE EARNED THIS.

This also speaks of where we go from here - into a more prosperous situation fueled by losses/experience/maybe a sacrifice/maybe grief. The new requiring our time, work, focus and existing resources (money, valuables, skills, power).

This isn't easy, but life has our back now instead of our back being against the wall!

(just keep one eye on your wallet/valuables/values/self esteem with Venus's approaching square to Neptune - there could be some disappointment here or maybe tension/frustration around our dreams and our money)

Mars (in Libra) is sextiling Jupiter (in Sagittarius) giving us the courage to be optimistic/hopeful. We are taking action - or maybe a partner is or this action involves other people/partnerships - toward something bigger/better.

Our efforting and initiative and PASSION (Mars) creates opportunities and LUCK (Jupiter) - ESPECIALLY within partnerships or through involvement with other people.

And keep in mind as this Full Moon energetic plays out over the next couple weeks Venus is going to reach Jupiter and the Galactic Center. Jupiter is going to reach Ceres. We have alot of opportunistic energies (and yes, a few power struggles) ahead of us!

We only have three more weeks of Jupiter in his home sign of Sagittarius.

He won't be back here for twelve years, so it's use it or lose it time people. Commit or quit. Expand/evolve or repeat. There are things we couldn't do earlier in the year, losses we had to experience, but the energies are shifted now. There is no right or wrong answer here and keep in mind Mercury is retrograde for another nine days, but there is momentum. And I can tell you looking ahead to January there is probably no easier way to do things if we wait until next year.

Whatever we decide to do or not do - there is work ahead and large investments of our time/energy - so what kind of work do you want to be doing? Uranus is crashing through Taurus changing the way we make money/the way we value our resources - determined for us to see the connection between our self-esteem and what we allow ourselves to call our own.

For some people - a sibling, local community, transportation issue can be spotlighted/re-spotlighted.

Whatever this is, it MATTERS (and gets re-activated at the end of the month when Mercury re-walks this degree moving forward).

We are halfway through this Mercury retrograde now and like clockwork - which this is - we get a kind of "aha" moment around whatever this slog through the depths of Scorpio (the merging/purging, life/death, financial/sexual) is about for us.

This is the inferior conjunction (kicking off a new cycle, kind of like Mercury's New Moon) and we will get the superior conjunction with Mercury direct on January 11, 2020 in Capricorn (the results/impact of what we put into motion now, kind of like Mercury's Full Moon) at 20 degrees.

There are a couple (million? billion?) ways this could play out, but basically we are EVOLVING or we are setting up a cycle of RE-PETITION.

Keep in mind Jupiter and Venus in Sagittarius, Saturn in Capricorn and Chiron in Aries; beneficial Jupiter for only a few more weeks (in his home sign), and only recently DIRECT -

if we believe we have been screwed/life isn't fair, etc - we will continue to attract more situations that prove to us that, yes, we have been screwed/life isn't fair and we are never, ever getting that pony EITHER.

If we believe in fresh starts and opportunities to make things BETTER then that is EXACTLY what this energy is offering us. Happening in Scorpio whatever this is, it is SERIOUS. Happening when Mercury is retrograde this won't be a totally new situation.

What house is 18 degrees Scorpio in your natal and progressed charts? What is the theme of that house? How about 20 degrees Capricorn? We will talk more about this in the Full Moon post.

On TUESDAY - heads up IMPORTANT DAY - the Moon moves to 19 degrees Taurus and opposes the 19 degree Scorpio Sun giving us this month's Full Moon. Conjunct a retrograde Vesta - we could be focused in on an OLD commitment/devotion/focus - something that ONCE kept us up at night.

In Taurus this will involve our Taurus house theme or the collective Taurus themes of money, our resources, our value, our self-esteem, what brings us comfort and security. 

The Moon and Vesta will be trining Pluto (and Saturn) - authentic power, something real and LASTING. We have either already paid our dues with this thing or we will have to, but this is something tangible and stabilizing.

Mars sextiles Jupiter - action taken through partnerships or with other people create opportunities for EXPANSION. Mercury is just past his meeting with the Sun - wide awake and super-charged with information.

We will talk about this in the FULL MOON post (next post). More commit or quit. This is one of the best Full Moons this year!

On WEDNESDAY - heads up IMPORTANT DAY - a retrograde Mercury now sextiles Saturn and then trines a retrograde Neptune. Now we are using that info from earlier in the week. We are clear-headed. Talks are serious now. Here is the effect we caused.

With that trine to Neptune, maybe we are thinking/talking about an old dream. Re-vising an important plan. Information/communication flows. Our ancestors dreams/stories are playing out through us. Our INTUITION is high.

We had these aspects back on October 14th and October 15th with Mercury direct, so events now could connect back to mid-October.

Keep in mind that the next day, THURSDAY - heads up IMPORTANT DAY - Venus will square Neptune (tension/frustration/obstacles) - so things could feel/look better than they actually are. Keep an eye on your values, your heart, your wallet. Stay grounded and focused on facts and the bottom line. We don't want to be attracting something that will DRAIN us. Avoid drugs/alcohol.

At the same time Jupiter is crossing the Galactic Center (seat of creation) for the first time in 12 years. Jupiter is a brand new man now meeting with billions and billions of SUNS. We will have access to this (expansion, optimism - a change in our beliefs) until around November 24th. Another level of life is now available to us and we have alot to learn.

Our beliefs are CHANGING and with them our luck (Jupiter).

Too much is happening this week to be "business as usual".

This time period is VERY IMPORTANT, so treat things seriously.

We need to be ready for anything.

Today's Astrology Forecast | November 8, 2019 - freshly ambitious, dreams come true, more commit or quit energies, the wise choice offers expansion/a stretch, transformation of structures/our reality/our ambitions

The Moon moves into fiery and independent Aries at 6:49AM EST. She moves through Aries unobstructed today - good for new ambitions, doing things for ourselves, acting on our passion, getting something started. Avoid impulsiveness/aggression/selfishness.

The big news today is Saturn (home in Capricorn) gets back to 16 degrees and sextiles (opportunity) Neptune (home in Pisces) for the third time this year. Reality (Saturn) meets the dream (Neptune). With Neptune retrograde - this could be the time an old dream/ideal gets new legs.

We won't have this sextile again until 2031 and we will never in our lifetimes have this energy with both planets strong and stable in their home signs!

When we last had this sextile (June) - we had Neptune squaring Jupiter at the same time, plus that Full Moon in Sagittarius answering to Jupiter, so it would have been harder then to get a handle on this. Things could have seemed better/bigger than they actually were.

This time around we have the Sun (in Scorpio) sextiling Neptune and trining Saturn at the SAME TIME, so mega support for something deep and truthful - a transformation of physical structures/material reality - IF we are willing to really COMMIT TO IT

(which means we have to really want this because this is going to take WORK and an investment on our part and a merger with other people and their resources - this dream needs to come from a space of authenticity or we can create the dream and find out it is really a nightmare - we get it and then don't want it - these energies are neutral and don't really care if we live happily or miserably ever after - again this draws us toward that North Node in Cancer - coming home to our authentic self).

Saturn will require work, time, responsibility. The Sun in Scorpio will require commitment/mergers/intimacy. Neptune will require a sacrifice/an ending. We will have to give something up - independence? money? time? relationships/projects? a belief? - to get something ELSE. The Sun could also produce a result or wrap up of something.

At the same time Pallas (our wisdom/warrior energy) is moving into expansive and optimistic Sagittarius (legal issues, foreign issues, weddings, our big-picture beliefs, travel, politics, higher education).

The wise choice will likely be something that feels like a STRETCH.

Mercury is still retrograde - we are still gathering information, revising, reviewing. On Monday, Mercury will meet the Sun - information coming to light, coming to a DECISION.

In the meantime, take some action NOW toward what you want and it is equally possible for something to drop right into your lap.

Pay attention to what is being brought to your attention NOW. What comes to light between now and Monday? What is already going on in your life? What is on your radar?

Next week we have more amazing energies including a Full Moon in lucrative Taurus that will EXTEND today's positive energies, but what we do today MATTERS.

The only thing stopping us these days is our old beliefs that keep us from matching the new Aquarian Age energies. That's it. Nothing else.
