Astrology Forecast for Creatives | Once in a BLUE MOON

Another crazy astrological week (and yes, I realize it's half over!).

This whole summer is going to be a wild ride. And if you are thinking, "no, not me, my life is moving along the straight, narrow and predictable road" ... well, talk to me in October and we'll see where you are then.

Let's start with Saturn, this is the BIG Daddy taskmaster of the zodiac and he was in the deep dark waters of Scorpio for two years, peeked his head into bright and bold Sagittarius last December and then retrograded back into Scorpio in June for a final plunge into the dark (whatever halted in your life in June is back).

He stations direct on Sunday and it will be full steam ahead like a freight train thru mid September when he moves back into Sagittarius. These next few weeks will wrap up some story from around October 2012 (think back to 1983-1984 if you are old enough you may see some similar themes then). Any remaining loose ends will be tied up. Late degree fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio) will feel this final transit of Saturn through Scorpio the most.

As Saturn readies for his two and a half year journey through big-picture Sagittarius it will be important for all of us to stay focused on what is right in front of us and not get so overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done and how far things are now from where we want them to be that we fritter this precious Sagittarius time away. Dreaming big is OK, but acting with small, measured steps will get us where we need to go.

Every small step we take is one step closer to the world we came here to build.

If you want to know what you should be doing right now, just do the thing that is right in front of you - that's the thing that will take you to the next thing.

We truly will build the new world from who we are right now.

On Friday, we have a Full Moon in Aquarius. This one will illuminate a situation by providing the distance we need to see it clearly. Aquarius always offer a new and different perspective. He is the audience and we will be able to see the situation from an outside perspective even as we are inside it. Options are available with this Moon.

We have a  bold Leo Sun in-conjunct a retrograde Neptune in dreamy Pisces which might make whatever is highlighted by this Moon clash with our dreams. It might be like, "damn this isn't going to work right now". Because this is our second Full Moon of the month it is called a Blue Moon and we won't have another one for a couple years. Being in the far out sign of Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) really gives it the energy for something to hit us out of the blue! I hope for your sake and mine it's a winning lottery ticket.

Last weekend Venus turned retrograde. She is in Virgo for a couple more days and then she'll journey back through Leo. Her days in Virgo (through Friday) would be well spent going back over the details of something.

Back in Leo Venus will ask us to look at what we do to get attention and what we are giving our attention to. Are we being authentic? What do we really value? How are we spending our valuable time, love, money? This can also be about reconnecting with something or someone we love, or being loved for who we really are. We are all going to need to feel valued now and anything we are doing that doesn't value our time and resources will come up for re-evaluation.

At the same time Uranus also has turned retrograde. Saturn is still retrograde (but not for long!) and Pluto is retrograde. This is a whole lot of looking backward, tying up loose ends and second chances folks.

Uranus is the planet of chaos. Uranus retrograde (and he's just been squaring Mars) will introduce chaos into the picture. Let's look at it this way. Creation is chaos. The very thing that interferes with the orderly working of our well-ordered life, that change we fear, is often the necessary thing that gets us to our happiness; to our genius. Uranus is the guy who can loosen our grip on the way we think things must be. How he does this varies. I intend for my grip to be loosened with a nice relaxing hand massage and some distracting red wine (if this is your intention, too, please save me your corks!).

We also have Jupiter about to exit Leo (after a year) for Virgo - have I mentioned that Regulus, the brightest star in the Leo constellation for the last 2000 years has moved out of Leo and into Virgo - this is masculine Leo, the royalty of the zodiac, ruled by the Sun literally morphing into feminine Virgo, the worker, healer, servant of the zodiac, ruled by Mercury. The power is moving to the people, folks. This train can't be stopped!

Jupiter in Virgo will move our story from ourselves to the other person - we take what we love to do and we figure out how to use it for the benefit of others. We also have the North Node moving from Libra (that whole finding our flock thing) into Virgo - the healer, servant, worker. Virgo is the first sign of the zodiac that takes other people into account. It's the space in our journey when we look at how what we do affects others. If we haven't found our flock by now, no worries, we don't have to go looking for them anymore. They'll show up. Or they already have.

Lots of new friends, new business collaborations and new groups that will align with our new ideas in the offing for everyone! We just have to get through the next few weeks. xo all

YAY!

I'm not sure why but I'm all excited about this forecast! Lots of work has been done this year and now, somehow, I feel all warm and washed and light, like I've shrugged off a cape. On the right path, prepared for new work, anxious to present this new work, feeling smart, prepared, and confident. This is a good one!

Back to garden weeding and doing the work in front of me.
