A tricky week guys, so buckle up.
Fate train week ahead as the Sun connects with the North Node. Breakdowns, break-ups and BREAKTHROUGHS are possible. Merging and purging can be shocking/liberating. Changes are ultimately empowering. Mars opposes Uranus on Election Day (Void Moon as the polls open here in New Jersey and New York), so I would expect the unexpected.

FRIDAY - Uranus retrograde back into Taurus, Venus squares Pluto

MONDAY - Mars trine Neptune, Venus inconjunct Saturn - looks like a soft start to a powerful week. Inspired action. Motivation runs on intuition, but Venus reminds us that love and dreams and money still have and need limits
TUESDAY - Mars opposes Uranus and enters Sagittarius. The plot twists. Expect surprises, breakthroughs, or sudden shifts that free you from what’s grown stale. Once Mars enters Sagittarius, the mood flips from brooding to bold. Our eyes move to the horizon and our actions focus on GROWTH.
WEDNESDAY - Full Moon in Taurus - EXPECT A BIG POST - Something tangible comes to light and brings results - finances, projects, or self-worth themes come into focus. What we actually HAVE is illuminated. Ground yourself and take stock of what’s real.
THURSDAY - Mars sextile Pluto, Venus inconjunct Uranus, Venus into Scorpio - power consolidates after chaos. Mars finds focus and Venus dives into emotional truth. Merging and purging. Relationships or values intensify. What has been surface level now demands depth.
FRIDAY - Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus, Venus squares Pluto. Shocks and changes in the material world. Resources. Money. Security. Venus and Pluto turn up the heat, so that passion, control, money, or trust issues reach a BREAKING AND REMAKING POINT.
SATURDAY - Sun trine North Node. Clarity dawns. Purpose aligns with our soul’s direction - what felt heavy earlier in the week starts to make sense at a deeper, spiritual level. Here is that Fate Train, so where are we going?
SUNDAY - Mercury stations retrograde in Sagittarius. Time to pause before the next leap. The mind turns inward to review beliefs, narratives, and goals. The story’s not ending, but it is being rewritten for truth and coherence. Mercury will back into Scorpio on November 18th and station direct at 20 degrees Scorpio on November 29th.
Since Mars and Venus are personal planets and particularly packed this week, let's break them down and then I will come back with the Full Moon post in a couple days.
MARS
MARS - Mars, strong in Scorpio the sign of his ancient rulership will - trine Neptune, oppose Uranus and sextile Pluto - let's unpack this!
Mars in Scorpio is intense, focused and STRATEGIC (sometimes stealthy - keep this in mind). He is all about how we take action/go about getting what we want. When he trines Neptune the 'brakes are off' with a Neptunian theme. Boundaries dissolve. Actions can be compassionate, imaginative or escapist. We are acting on INSPIRATION. Good for creative work and healing/spirituality. Think - idealized action. The shadow of this would be sliding into something addictive/escapist or something based entirely on wishful thinking or illusion. Not everything happening will be ABOVE-BOARD.
Then he moves into an opposition with Uranus - and this is happening very close to the trine and can be part of the same thing - actions are erratic and UNEXPECTED. Mercury opposed Uranus last week, so maybe we are taking action on some unexpected information/conversations or ideas from then. This aspect can lead to breakthroughs, but also break-ups and breakdowns, so TAKE YOUR TIME. The good news is that stuck patterns of behavior can be broken, the shadow would be impulsive/rash or rebellious actions. Keep in mind Uranus just wants things to change he doesn't care if you wind up on your ass or the county jail. Pace yourself.
Mars flies out of sharp focused Scorpio and into big picture, sky's the limit, freedom loving and fiery Sagittarius. Mars in Sagittarius (through December 15th) will have us looking for adventure over the next two months. Taking action that expands us. Pushed (in our search for the truth) to confront stuff that doesn't line up with our worldview so that our worldview can WIDEN. Sagittarius rules our big-picture beliefs which have a way of becoming actively more inclusive with Mars here.
Finally, Mars sextiles - creative opportunity - a retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. This is a harmonious aspect but requires some efforting on our part to activate. This might be something about us reclaiming our power after some kind of disruption (the Mars/Uranus), so we want to be taking action from a grounded space of POWER. if we have reacted rashly or someone else has tossed us a curveball, well, here is the energy to respond with big girl/boy pants on. We are stronger than we think we are.
TO BOTTOM LINE MARS THIS WEEK (and this will apply to everyone, maybe Scorpio and Aries rising most strongly as well as people directly impacted by the degrees) - he has FOUR ACTS. If I were Shakespeare, which I ain't :) - Act I: we are moved by a vision, Act II: we are challenged by change, the vision is tested, there is some kind of "break", this test comes quickly, we are forced to innovate or liberate, Act III: we come up for air, our view widens, we act more confidently and optimistically, from here on out fortune will favor the bold, Act IV: the changes and challenges fuel something stronger/more empowered
VENUS
Venus inconjuncts (rocks and hard places) Saturn and then Uranus, she leaves her home sign of Libra (sniffle) and dives into Scorpio where she immediately squares Pluto - let's unpack this!
With Venus so busy this week our relationships, finances, what we want, what we value are ADJUSTING. Her inconjuncts to Saturn and Uranus from her home sign of Libra where she is seeking balance/peace/relationship indicate adjustments (the need for not everything to be tied up in a big pink bow) with reality and change. There might be tension between wanting harmony/ease and needing boundaries/limits. Money might be tight. What we want might have to be delayed. Or maybe we feel we are giving too much or bending over backwards to keep the peace and things are out of balance. The inconjunct to Uranus in Gemini can make us feel antsy/restless, so maybe we are trying to balance stability with a need for something new - which won't be totally new or the feeling won't be because Uranus is retrograde, too. We have been here before.
Then Venus dives into Scorpio. This is the part of the play where the couple who has been dating/going to the movies/having coffee would have sex (or cut ties). We go from surface level niceties to intensity. We want to merge or purge. Sometimes the intensity comes through CONFRONTATION (with someone else or with ourselves). Scorpio rules intimacy, merged finances, debts, insurance, taxes, inheritances, reproduction, other people's money/values. In Scorpio, Venus wants something REAL even if it's messy.
Finally, and this really happens as soon as she gets into Scorpio, she comes into this square with Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio. So, there is tension/frustration and CONTROL ISSUES. Tests of relationship and financial power. Obsession. Jealousy. Manipulation. Fears of loss. The need to control. We will talk more about this in the Full Moon post next. Remember Mars is making the smoother sextile to Pluto, so this is all part of the same thing - us becoming more empowered.
TO BOTTOM LINE VENUS THIS WEEK (and this will apply to everyone, maybe Taurus and Libra rising most strongly as well as people directly impacted by the degrees) - her play has FOUR ACTS, too. Act I: reality/boundaries/authority is TESTED, we can't have it all, Act II: craving for change/something new or we are challenged by the same, Act III: our heroine (as us) goes deeper/under the covers/looks under the hood, wants to get to the bottom line, to the truth (relational, financial, values, beauty, self-esteem), Act IV: like Mars - empowerment, transformation. We merge. We purge - empowerment/strength can come through what we drop/stop carrying that is dead. We are figuring out what we really want and value. Maybe we start out the week trying to be nice and keep the peace but end up requiring depth and integrity from others, yes, but mostly from ourselves. We will need to check our projections this week. And watch our wallets.
