weekly astrology forecast | december 1st to 7th, 2025 - a week of turning points, when the mind clears, the path appears, big Full Moon in Gemini brings us a fated crossroads, are you ready for this?

My time is not my own right now, so let's dive right in!

TUESDAY - Venus sextiles Pluto
THURSDAY - FULL MOON IN GEMINI
FRIDAY - Sun squares the Nodes, Mars trines Chiron
SATURDAY - Mercury trines Jupiter retro
SUNDAY - Mercury trines Saturn, Mars inconjunct Jupiter

TUESDAY - Venus, who slipped into Sagittarius on Sunday - making Sag risings and Sag Suns more attractive (both easier on the eye and able to attract what they want and all of our Sag houses more magnetic!) - is making all of us a bit more desirous of MORE, adventure and wide-open spaces. She makes an opportunistic sextile to Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto in Aquarius is all about the transformation of our relationship to groups, tech and the future, and sometimes, transformation through detachment.

Opportunities come through expansion/taking a WIDER STEP/taking up more space. FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD with this one. Sextiles are subtle opportunities that respond best to some effort and initiative. It won't fall into our lap watching Netflix. Dammit.

THURSDAY - BIG Full Moon in Gemini exactly squaring the Nodes of Fate brings us to a powerful FATED decision point and cosmic crossroad. BIG NEWS. The Full Moon/Sun are forming a Grand Mutable Cross (so, yes, we are all being stretched pretty thin) and Mercury, the ruler of the lunation has stepped into, AGAIN, that water trine with Jupiter and Saturn making it a Grand Water Trine. This looks HUGE and with asteroid Hekate involved repeating the 'crossroad' theme, we cannot avoid the crossroad/cannot keep all versions of ourselves. Choices matter. Conversations matter. Our thoughts/our words matter. What is said cannot be unsaid. What is heard/seen will not be so easily forgotten. The Moon in Gemini making a square to the Nodes of Fate can activate something very old around not being safe enough to feel and so we had to think. Times we sought the right emotion instead of the real one.

Chew on that for now. BIG POST TO FOLLOW.

FRIDAY - Mars trines Chiron (brakes off) and the Sun - this is all part of the Gemini Full Moon story - makes his square to the North and South Nodes EXACT. THAT CROSSROAD - we'll talk about this in the next Full Moon post. In Evolutionary Astrology, squares to the Nodes are skipped steps and the Pisces North Node asks us to dissolve the Virgo maze of perfectionism/critique and choose compassion over correctness and faith over ANALYSIS! The way through the square is Mars smooth trine to wounded healer Chiron. ACTION BECOMES THE MEDICINE. Again, this is about courage/boldness - Mars is in Jupiter's (the king of the Gods) sign of Sagittarius and Jupiter is moving backward through emotional Cancer - so maybe even small, confident intentional actions can RE-WRITE VERY OLD FLIGHT OR FIGHT PATTERNS. Asserting ourselves, showing initiative, being WISE doesn't blow things up - it can stabilize and strengthen us.

SATURDAY - Mercury, making his third pass over the powerful 22nd degree of Scorpio, trines (brakes off) our retrograde Jupiter in Cancer. This can be the final sweep of a story from late October. There is some kind of big emotional clarity here. Good or big news can come in. Ancestral, home, family, real estate situations are talked about. Maybe something that was buried/didn't want to be talked about - well now we have some kind of handle on it and we do.

Then Mercury quickly trines Saturn stepping into the Jupiter/Saturn trine and creating a Grand Water Trine - we'll talk more about this in the Full Moon post next!

SUNDAY - Mercury trines Saturn while Mars inconjuncts Jupiter. The Mercury/Saturn is decisions/plans/ideas becoming grounded. Commitments are made. Just keep in mind the Mars/Jupiter 'rock and a hard place' adds a wrinkle. This isn't all perfectly aligned/tied up with a big red bow. Jupiter can over-promise, over-idealize, so slow down. You CAN'T DO EVERYTHING. Think - is this action aligned with reality? Is this sustainable? What purpose is this serving? Do I have the time, etc? The Mercury/Saturn when used probably - grown up/mature/practical thoughts and words - is like a weight tied to the Mars/Jupiter balloon, so we don't float off to lalaland. Although it is the holiday season, so ... the floating is all up to you. We have a lot of gnarly trees here (think Wizard of Oz minus the apples) and I would no doubt float right into one.

OK, time is up for me tonight. I hope something here is helpful and I didn't miss anything. I think I missed the Venus into Sag last week - sorry Sags!

Back with the Full Moon post next and the next Kirk series post and then we have to start talking about 2026 and the BIG PICTURE!

xo all
