We just had the BIG New Moon in Scorpio (see post HERE if you missed it - if your last week was a bit of a hectic sh*tshow, this is why)

with Mercury as well as the Moon moving between the Earth and the Sun - something demands to be seen/heard/UNCOVERED (this is Mercury, the messenger God traveler to Pluto's realm) and something wants to STAY hidden (that dark Moon).

We can see how this is playing out collectively - or do we?! What's it going to be for us personally? What do we see/need to see/WANT to see? What wants to stay hidden?

Look at the aspects - can you believe this week for Venus?! Collectively this is about finances, resources, women, Venus ruled people/things/places and RELATIONSHIPS.

Maybe our Venusian story is something like - old truths surface (Mercury), a wound is touched (Chiron), comfort returns (Jupiter), commitment/reality clarifies (Saturn), a breakthrough upends expectations (Uranus) and finally, everything dissolves into healing and understanding (Neptune). Or delusion and escape!

MONDAY - Mercury retrograde inconjuncts Chiron and conjuncts Venus (22 degrees), Mars squares North Node

TUESDAY - Venus inconjuncts Chiron

WEDNESDAY - Venus trines Jupiter, Venus trines Saturn

THURSDAY - Saturn stations direct

FRIDAY - First Quarter Moon Pisces

SATURDAY - Venus opposes Uranus

SUNDAY - Venus trines Neptune

On MONDAY, Mercury retrograde in Scorpio forms an awkward inconjunct to Chiron in Aries, stirring up an itch we can’t quite scratch. Old wounds around independence, courage, or self-assertion are stirred up through conversations, memories, or unspoken/buried emotional STUFF. Mercury backing into Venus at 22 degrees Scorpio deepens this - our heart and mind fuse at a powerful degree, exposing truths about desire, boundaries, loyalty, and what we’ve been holding back. It’s intimate and it is asking us to adjust where our ego and vulnerability meet. For example (and there are many ways this can be playing out and will depend on the houses of your own chart involved) Scorpio rules merged monies so let's say you’ve been lending money or emotional labor to someone out of habit and you have a realization (there will be multiple aha moments during this New Moon cycle) - “I’m giving more than I receive here, and I’ve been doing it to feel needed, not because it’s healthy.” You recognize a deeper motive you hadn’t acknowledged and a boundary forms INSTANTLY.

This won't be a totally new story because, again, Mercury is retrograde.

And this is Scorpio and the North Node is in Pisces being squared by Mars, so can be a VERY old story, even past-life/ancestral.

Or maybe you return to an old conversation, writing, idea, etc and suddenly you understand exactly what emotion you were avoiding expressing the first time. You "rewrite the script" with piercing honesty. The truth you were holding back becomes the power source and brings that old whatever BACK FROM THE DEAD, because again ... Scorpio!

Bottom line - we may be defensive or feel the instinct to go silent when something is just too vulnerable or too confrontational. Adjustments are required and this is not because we’re wrong, but because the old responses no longer fit the person we’re becoming! Also know inconjuncts are SUPPOSED TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE. That's just how it goes. Every itch isn't scratchable at any given moment. Sometimes we just have to be itchy.

At the same time, Mars in Sagittarius squares the North Node in Pisces, placing us at a crossroads. Our impulses want action, answers, movement, but the evolutionary path points toward something softer. Compassion, imagination, surrender, and rest. Rather than pushing harder, this square asks for a redirection of energy into faith, intuition, or creativity. IT'S NOT ABOUT WINNING OR LOSING. IT'S ABOUT ALIGNING. Finding common ground.

Look at the Trump/Mamdani (new mayor of NYC) meeting last week - sparks flew, but in a good way - which did NOT surprise me AT ALL. Mars in Sag is answering to a retrograde Jupiter (the old king) and Jupiter is the ancient ruler of Pisces. You give respect you get respect. For at least this one moment in time - they were just a couple 'winners' from Queens shooting the breeze. Emotional honesty IS MAGNETIC.

TUESDAY - now Venus is inconjunct Chiron - so the news/information/conversation from Mercury is rubbing against that very old wound around self-worth, abandonment, doing it alone, having to fight/stand up for ourselves, maybe even shame around assertiveness or needing other people. Inconjuncts are adjustment aspects. Maybe you want to open up or ask for help, but the moment you do, a reflexive defensiveness or “I’ll handle it myself” response rises. Remember Mars story with the North Node in Pisces this week - softening is the medicine here.

WEDNESDAY - Venus trines Jupiter (retro in Cancer) and Saturn (retro and strong at station in Pisces). So here is the balm after the sting. Or I should probably say the anti-itch cream (why does that sound so gross)/back scratcher (which I hope for your sake is a nice cat named Samson or maybe Clarence).

Venus in a smooth alignment with Jupiter retrograde in Cancer brings a soft expansion backward - into memory, lineage, comfort, and BELONGING. Is this perfect for Thanksgiving or what folks?! Venus receives a wave of emotional generosity, often from an old source. WE REMEMBER WHAT IT MEANS TO BE CARED FOR (not just desired or needed). These are our two most beneficent planets in our arguably most beneficial aspect - something good must come of this :)

THEN Venus trines Saturn - who is still and about to station direct in Pisces. This is a quietly powerful moment. Saturn is nearly unmoving and full of CONCENTRATED GRAVITAS, so the Venus trine lands with WEIGHT.

It brings emotional maturity, a promise kept, a boundary clarified, a dream becomes real, a relationship reaches a turning point. We see what we have because it is what we have. Commitments. Long-term planning/decisions. Maybe with Venus in Scorpio we know what we are willing to invest in and what we're not.

THURSDAY - Saturn stations direct at 25 degrees Pisces.

DADDY'S HOME!

After many months retrograde - Saturn is back where he was on July 19th and in some way so are we. Saturn's retrograde "review" wraps up. Commitments are firmed up. Endings become the real deal. Second chances are over. We need to be taking responsibility for our actions and holding other people responsible for theirs.

It could have felt, during his retrograde, that we were getting further away from our goal. Maybe obligations weighed heavily. Walls and limitations had to be faced. Corners we had previously cut were noted to be missing. The bills came due. Maybe we were re-evaluating, re-assessing, re-affirming our responsibilities and commitments. Maybe we learned to say, "no". Maybe we learned to say "yes" to something we had been avoiding.

What happens now is going to depend on what we did with this retrograde and sometimes, especially if we are looking at an ending, something ends no matter what we did, and the retrograde is about giving us time to PREPARE FOR IT.

With Saturn direct - daddy's home. Greater external structure is brought into our lives. This can feel supportive/rewarding or like a wall/limit/roadblock.

Have we been goofing off? Staying out late? Running up the electric bill? Worn out pop's favorite chair or left his tools out in the rain to rust?

Karmic books get balanced. Rewards for hard work come in - and these rewards can look like endings if we have hitched our ladder to the wrong wall. This is simply cause and effect - we are just being served what we ordered. If we don't like what we are being served - we can choose to do things differently for next time. We can start today. Right now!

FRIDAY - The Moon in Pisces squares the Sun in Sagittarius giving us this month's First Quarter Square - our monthly tension/frustration after the New Moon. This comes in like clockwork. Think about it. After the new/the beginner's luck comes the CHALLENGE. This applies to everything, This is not because we did something wrong, but because it's just THE WAY LIFE WORKS. The Moon in Pisces wants to drift/dream/watch Netflix and the Sun in Sag wants to GO BIG. So maybe it's time to take a little rest. This is happening on the day after Thanksgiving here in the U.S. and part of a holiday weekend. Relax. Don't think you know-it-all. Don't take offense when someone else thinks they do either - let it go.

SATURDAY - here is where Venus, following Mercury and the Sun - and remember Mercury is going to do this AGAIN, so the story doesn't end here - well, here is where, Venus opposes Uranus. Did we think that trine to stable Saturn - who isn't so stable in Pisces - was the end of the matter? Uh, no. Here is the monkey wrench/jolt. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED - collectively this can be about money, resources, relationships. Breakthrough, Breakdown, Break-up. We are either breaking free from an old pattern, or someone surprises us and FORCES A PIVOT. Uranus is retrograde, so we might/should have seen this coming, but probably still don't. This is making me think of Marjorie Taylor Greene's resignation last week. Maybe there will be additional resignations - oppositions (like Full Moons) are endings.

SUNDAY - now Venus is trining Neptune. Unlike yesterday's opposition the trine is a smooth aspect - the brakes are off. We could roll right off the mountain into lalaland with Neptune retrograde in Pisces at the end of the end of the zodiac/world OR we can let go/let God, know some things are out of our hands/control OR this is the poetic close to whatever Uranus has disrupted. This can allow forgiveness, softness, compassion. This is a moment of peace after intensity. OUR HEART OPENS AND AFTER THIS WEEK - the Thanksgiving holiday is SO well-timed as always - it is (Sun in Sag) a more Sagittarius heart. MORE GIVING, MORE OPEN, WISER AND CLEANER.
