The New Moon in Pisces on March 18th officially ends this season's Eclipse spin cycle (the Eclipse energies continue to play out for a few months). THAT POST IS NEXT.
This is another VERY LATE New Moon, so again gathers most of its momentum from what is ending.
It closes out a 12-year cycle, happens in the sign of the North Node, but not close enough to give us an actual Eclipse, the Moon sextiles Uranus (brings opportunities through sudden changes or disruptions).
So, this is the last breath of the old story before Aries begins the new one. The sextile says something like - something unexpected becomes USABLE.
I haven't looked at this New Moon closely yet (I will tonight), but just seeing the late degree Pisces in that late degree sextile to Uranus makes me think about releasing something we thought we needed or realizing a dream has changed or letting go of an identity (because we are a hair's width from Aries here) that no longer fits.
That Uranian sextile brings a surprising new possibility/unconventional solution/new value system?/tech or group assistance. But there is probably some kind of 'surrender/come to Jesus moment' first.
After the New Moon we go right into the New Year as the Sun moves into Aries two days later- so we have a waxing/growing Moon at the New Year. Then because we have both Saturn and Neptune in very early Aries, we know the Sun is going to very quickly meet up with them, which is very powerful, but also a MIXED BAG.
So, after the New Moon in late Pisces we have:
Sun enters Aries - New Year
Mercury stations direct
Sun conjunct Neptune at 1-degree Aries
Sun conjunct Saturn at 4-degrees Aries
Sun sextile Pluto
Saturn sextile Pluto (exact March 28)
So, the New Astro Year begins with the NEW VISION - Sun/Neptune in Aries. New spiritual or ideological fire/identity. New imagination. New art. New music. Vision merges with action. ENLIGHTENED LEADERSHIP - prayers for this one.
And on the flipside, confusion can merge with conflict and we get some kind of revolutionary mythmaking. And keep in mind we have asteroid Borasisi here, too, just waiting for HIS MOMENT and pulling in the tech is God (or independence is God) dystopian pink paint.
This is pretty quickly followed by a REALITY-CHECK as the Sun meets Saturn.
Saturn here is GOOD NEWS and believe me Saturn does NOT want to be here. He always brings reality checks, but this time reality is literally checking the vision. Is this workable/doable/sustainable? With Saturn in Aries for the next couple years - prepare to be reality-checked/for new things to take longer than you think they will and to start before you are ready.
This doesn't mean we quit, although sometimes we might, but it does mean we won't get too far into lalaland without some kind of roadblock. A limit. A "no". Maybe something we need to have/earn before we can get any further. Maybe there is more work to do first. Maybe here is where some kind of authority/solar figure is stepping down or this is some kind of leadership consolidation.
This is happening as the Sun sextiles Pluto at the same time.
Sun/Pluto is about courage and independence and with Aries/Aquarius we are talking about NEW EXPRESSIONS OF POWER. Sun/Pluto aspects show strength and resilience but keep in mind the sextile is a soft aspect. We have to take some kind of action with it or it just sits there. We have to make some kind of NEW EFFORT.
Then finally Saturn sextiles Pluto.
WE HAVE NOT HAD A SATURN SEXTILE PLUTO SINCE 2013.
This is fire and air, so something is really wanting to TAKE OFF. This is important. Stands out. This is about revolutionary new ways of doing things. New kinds of power and authority. The ability to endure and to recuperate. People with planets in the early degrees of fire and aur signs will be feeling this most intensely, but we all have access. Achievement. Success. Count no one and nothing out just yet folks. Tesla had this aspect very strongly positioned, so maybe something very important is being invented here/coming to reality.
And then we move into April and more planets start moving into fiery Aries and the PACE IS GOING TO REALLY QUICKEN.
April is another HUGE month.
