weekly astrology forecast | march 9th, 2026 to march 15th, 2026 - jupiter finally stations direct after one of the longest winters of our lives, a week of unavoidable momentum ...

Last week's Lunar Eclipse continues to play out. What’s striking to me about this week is that the Moon is activating almost every major player in sequence. It’s like Luna is walking through the sky flipping on switches.

Collectively this week we have -

Jupiter stations direct plus Mercury retrograde trines, Scorpio Moon - a story or narrative changes course/expands and hidden truths surface.

Sagittarius Third Quarter Moon - beliefs about the story/situation are questioned.

Mars conjunct North Node - events push the timeline forward emotionally and unpredictably. Mars forces movement/can be the moment when momentum becomes unavoidable

Mercury conjunct Mars - walking the talk, arguments, accusations and rhetoric

Then the upcoming Pisces New Moon (March 18th) suggests a collective flood of surrender, compassion, grief and confusion about the future. The story shifts from decisive action to emotional aftermath and where we go with that ...

Jupiter stationing direct in Cancer (conjunct the U.S. Sun and with Jupiter ruling the U.S. chart) right as all of this unfolds could amplify themes of national protection, homeland security and emotional tribalism in global responses. It can also indicate a CHANGE OF DIRECTION. Jupiter is traditionally benefic, but in mundane astrology he can also correspond with magnification rather than simple “good fortune.” So, when Jupiter activates a country's Sun, we sometimes see confidence and boldness and a strong moral framing of actions, but also potentially overconfidence/over-reach, ideological polarization and inflated expectations.

We will take a look at the Iran/Israel/U.S. charts this week (and their leaders, all born on Eclipses!). Keep in mind our words and thoughts are very powerful. I don't want to contribute to the sea of astro panic when the future is so UNCERTAIN just so I can say I was "right" if things totally fall to sh*t. All of us ARE HERE on this planet during this time of tremendous change for a REASON. We still have the North Node in Pisces/those bigger hands than ours that have the wheel and PRAYERS are very powerful. So is art and music and rest. Keep yourself hydrated. Don't inundate your nervous system with too many "details". The Moon is waning, so what needs to go?

April is going to be our "GO" time.

Let's unpack the week!

MONDAY and TUESDAY - Mercury trine Jupiter, Vesta enters Pisces, JUPITER STATIONS DIRECT, Venus sextiles Pluto, Third Quarter Moon Sagittarius

FRIDAY - Mars conjunct the North Node

SUNDAY - Mercury retrograde conjunct Mars, Ceres enters Taurus

MONDAY to TUESDAY - Mercury trine Jupiter, Vesta enters Pisces, JUPITER STATIONS DIRECT, Black Moon Lilith squares the Nodes of Fate, Chiron squares Juno

A retrograde Mercury's trine to Jupiter as Jupiter CHANGES DIRECTION might speak of good/lucky or expansive news (maybe tied to the past) - OPTIMISM AND CONFIDENCE RETURNING. Family conversations can be uplifting. Old opportunities can come back around. Jupiter's benefits can be inflated at times, yes, but it is still good news for us to have Jupiter start moving forward again in a sign where he is EXALTED. YAY! Jupiter will be in Cancer until June 30th.

With the Moon in Scorpio this could also be about what is hidden being REVEALED. Something that has been stalled - maybe around home/family/security - is ready to begin to move forward or TURN AROUND - keep in mind Mercury's trine shows a smooth flow, but he/she is still retrograde, so information, ideas and conversations are still subject to re-vision.

Chiron's square to Juno speaks of painful tension/frustration within a relationship/agreement. This might show unequal partnerships, a time of re-negotiated commitments and even betrayal within alliances. Aries/Cappy squares can bring up control issues. If we are trying to hold onto - something or someone we get power or status from - or they are clinging to us, situations can conspire for us to see this and make changes. This might also speak about the ways illness challenges relationships and agreements. Agreements/alliances are shifting through FRICTION. See tomorrow's Venus/Pluto.

The Moon will move into Sag (also denoting our ability to access more optimistic emotions) and square Mars in the PM EDT - frustration/tension/argument or simple exhaustion. And just as Pisces has started to empty out its visitors, Vesta moves in. The 'sacred flame that must be kept lit' moves to our natal Pisces house theme. Prayer can become even more devotional, so can art, music, healing, spirituality. We might find ourselves tending to things that are subtler/invisible or tied to the past ... Vesta will be in Pisces until May 13th.

Venus/Pluto makes connections more powerful, magnetic, honest and transformative. Venus in Aries goes after what she wants, so OPPORTUNITIES will likely come through IMPULSIVE/QUICK ACTION. Powerful alliances can be quietly forming. This is good energy to reclaim personal power and for financial restructuring. Venus/Pluto can be about DEALS being made.

Happening with the Third Quarter Moon might bring up questions like - Do I still believe in this relationship/alliance? What do I really value here? Is this real/true or am I projecting meaning where there isn’t any?

The Moon in Sag is squaring the Pisces Sun. The square is their waning tension/frustration before next week's New Moon in Pisces. This looks like a CRISIS OF FAITH/the need to surrender some kind of certainty. In Sagittarius we believe because something makes sense/feels wise or hopeful. In Pisces we believe because something feels sacred, even if we cannot prove it. Pisces TRUTH transcends what we have been convinced about or convinced ourselves is true/right. It holds something bigger than we are which can be frightening for some - as we feel smaller - and enlightening/hopeful for other - again as we feel smaller. So, the current phase is dismantling the story structures that Sagittarius (religious, foreign, legal) built so Pisces can open a different doorway.

FRIDAY - Mars conjunct the North Node

We had the Sun conjunct the North Node when Israel/U.S. bombed Iran and now here comes Mars who was part of that story through his own waning square to Uranus. Mars in Pisces with the North Node might correspond to moments when the visible conflict is only part of the story. Pisces rules oceans, oil, chemicals, hidden networks, intelligence operations, idealistic/spiritual narratives, compassion/victims. So sometimes the biggest developments during this transit are not the most obvious ones. This is a time to take action with whatever is going on with your Pisces house theme or a collective Pisces theme - healing, spirituality, music, art, compassion, addiction, the past, what we can't see, what is done behind us. This is FATED ENERGY designed to line us up with the best path forward and, at the same time, the Cappy Moon will be sextiling the Pisces Sun adding grounding and reality and authority (maybe tied to father, career, reputation, goals) to what is happening. Making the dream real energy always comes to mind with Cappy/Pisces, too. Note in dreamy Pisces our efforts are not always totally direct and can be channeled through our intuition, dreams, compassion, forgiveness, release, grief work, imagination, art, music, rest, someone/something helping us from behind the scenes or from the past. Mars is also opposing the South Node in Virgo so releasing the need to overwork/earn our rest, make something perfect and ourselves crazy, over-analyze the details moves us forward, too.

SUNDAY - Mercury retrograde conjunct Mars, Ceres enters Taurus

This looks like unfinished business re-surfacing. Heated conversations, impulsive decisions, speaking about something that we have been suppressing or avoiding - revisiting an unresolved issue or ARGUMENT. We want to be walking our talk now. Drive safely. Measure twice before you cut once. Check that email/text before hitting send. Mercury is moving backward in a sign he/she is debilitated and Mars is reactive and fast, but unfocused so this looks like it could be a CONFUSING MESS, but old conversations/ideas can also generate the fuel we need to get going.

Ceres, my vote for at least the co-ruler of Taurus - moves into home territory and says - now build something REAL. Ceres will be in Taurus until May 28th.

xo all - please excuse typos will recheck tomorrow, feels a bit choppy but this losing an hour is already mucking with my brain
