New Moon in Cancer, Wednesday July 15th - Plus Up Close and Personal With PLUTO!

first ever photo of Pluto's surface
Today's first ever photos of the surface of Pluto (everything we've ever seen before have been artist renderings!) along with tomorrow's New Moon in Cancer which has a Mars/ Mercury conjunction and opposes a retrograde Pluto in Capricorn - must mean something!

Pluto rules Scorpio, the sign of things hidden and dark; secrets and shadows. Pluto rules transformation.

Quantum physics has proven the bizarre fact that observation affects reality so now we are all up close and personal with this bad boy planet of revolution, destruction, power and the hidden realms will Pluto's influence change? Will we?

Pluto was discovered (astrologers believe planets are discovered and named when we are 'ready' for the archetype they represent to be introduced into our collective awareness) by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930.

Clyde requested his ashes be inside any spacecraft bound for Pluto, so he's in there! Pluto brought us the rise of Hitler, World War II, nuclear power, the United States as a super power. There is all kinds of pain behind Plutonion violence. How we transform this pain is up to us.

Compassion toward ourselves and others lays the groundwork for our miracle now.

Is something hidden about to be revealed? What are we all waking up to? Everything negative with Pluto comes from holding on and everything positive comes from letting go, not sure how any of this will factor in. The timing is quite interesting though

Because tomorrow's New Moon is a doozy.

Yesterday and today we are building toward it. First advice I would have for tomorrow is to hold our tongue. There are power struggles. With Mars and Pluto (both war planets) in opposition and Mercury (communication) thrown in the mix there is a good potential for an argument that will not end well. Just agree to disagree.

Don't fire off any emails in haste or anger. This energy is encouraging stuff to fall apart. If something ends today it's pretty much over. And think about that if you are the one ending it. We will have to deal with the consequences.

Now with all this going on we still have a New Moon in the nurturing mama bear sign of Cancer. It's an excellent time to begin a self-care regimen. This moon is all about family, security, our home and intimacy. With the Sun and Moon in Cancer we can all experience compassion and healing now. What is takes to get us there could be big.

Hang in there - we are all in this together and our new story is coming.

Lots is happening. First the New Moon then we're charging toward Jupiter square Saturn! It is a whole new ballgame for certain, especially for our businesses, our art and work we do with women.

Venus is about to go retrograde so if we have something in the cooker - we don't have much time to run full steam ahead but we have at least a week! The retrograde will be an excellent time for relooks and re-dos with our businesses, money and love.

Wednesday is a powerful energy to focus our intentions and make affirmations on Cancer stuff : mothers, motherhood, self-care, nurturing, home, family, real estate, home business, food, breast health, stomach and digestive health, gut health, security ...

AFFIRMATION TIPS: get into a positive frame of mind - always make affirmations from a  positive place (positive meaning both happy and certain) - write your affirmations down by hand, speak them out loud - then release your attention from them knowing that your intention is known. Know these things are already yours. Cancer is a water sign so this is a great day to be near and in water! xo all

Cat, Thank you for this!

"Everything negative with Pluto comes from holding on and everything positive comes from letting go"

Unemployment officially starts today. All my stress and fears come from holding on to the fear of not having a formal job title and the paycheck.

What I really want to do is play and experiment with polymer and throw stuff up on Etsy to see what sticks. The responsible adult in me thinks this is a waste of time. It's hard to be a grown up...lol.

Hey Angie- You couldn't have a better day to become 'officially' unencumbered! Also you are a Capricorn rising and we just had that Capricorn full moon 2 weeks ago - so it's finished. Today's New Moon is in Cancer which is natally in your 6th house of work and health so playing and experimenting sounds perfect. Let the responsible adult play (that's your Capricorn first house ruled by daddy Saturn sitting on your shoulder your whole life - you were born a grown-up!)- I would give yourself at least through the first week of August to just play - do something you love to do. Venus is retrograde so something you used to love is even better to play with. Jupiter square Saturn is the big news of late July – it is a terrible time to be trying to maintain an inauthentic work life. If you want to regenerate … your timing is perfect. You are a Leo - naturally abundant! Be curious instead of fearful. Like let's see what happens if I do this or this! Give without strings attached and receive without a sense of obligation - notice the abundance in nature now. That's how Leo expands. Jupiter in Leo all year literally expanded you right out of a job that was too small for you!

Hey Cat!

Definitely a lot of Re-doing going on around my business right now, but I feel like I'm going into it knowing what worked and what didn't -before. I might even start blogging again! :) Sometimes I think we just need to step away for a while so we can figure things out...

Life and love seem to be headed in the right direction. Even though we aren't totally done fixing up this little house yet, we are getting closer to being in a position of being able to put it on the market if we wanted to... maybe next year. We've even considered relocating. Even though we love being so close to the Ocean, there are many other pros and cons to figure... Hubby travels SO MUCH for work, it was never intended to be that way... so we may find ourselves moving closer to his territory... which will bring us closer to things (and people) we enjoy and miss since we've been here.

Funny how we moved here thinking things would go a certain way, and they completely have not... but it's never too late to keep looking forward. I'm excited for what's to come, it feels like things are finally lining up!

Hope you are feeling the same.

Hey Janell - So happy things are lining up! Commuting or traveling for work can be exhausting and moving back to where your friends are would be exciting. The ocean is hard to give up though ....

We wanted to move but now hubs seems kind of anchored in again. Ugh! I have a bunch of shows coming up and when they are done end of July, I am totally fighting against the current right now and want to just stop - I am taking a break and see what happens. I still keep committing myself to things I don't want to do even though I know better, then I feel unsupported. Need a simpler life ....

Less is more Cat, I think that's the biggest thing I've learned lately. Not like I didn't already *know* that, but with a big focus on what I really want out of life, and what steps I might take to get there... I was always trying to be in too many places and do too many things. I think I'm finally starting to see the difference between the purpose and the passion of running a business - I get it now.

Now I see how that is just one part of the whole (of life) and how I can work for the purpose of the other things we are trying to accomplish and enjoy... rather than trying to dig deep for passion in my work. Yes, I love what I do, but I want so much more than just to be busy working... I want time to play and space to enjoy. The purpose of my work is driving me more now, to realize those other things.

If we move, it won't be back home, it'll be someplace sort of in the middle... actually, not sure if you've visited Walla Walla (wine country) it's a smaller town, slower paced lifestyle, but that's actually what we were looking for when we moved HERE...so...

Hubby is not totally on board with this move yet either, but I think I'll get my way in time. *giggles* He just needs to think about it and let it soak in on his own terms... I think women are more excited about change, and men more reluctant to it. Just start pointing out the benefits, and see how it goes. :)

Gosh I need to stop it with this (dot dot dot)...

Less is more is the mantra of my life - believe me - if I told you the opportunities I passed on you would probably throw a net over me. I collaborate with a lot of artists who are doing a lot of shows now that Etsy is so slow for everyone. Not something I anticipated when I booked mine because usually only a couple artists order from me for shows in the summer. Upset my apple cart a bit. No biggie. The truth is I am grateful for the work right now.

Yes, Walla Walla is gorgeous. Nothing like that here. In the county I live in our town is exactly where everyone wants to be - small town, kids walk to school, lots of farms, old houses, no cookie cutter mcmansions. We've just lived her a long time. Over 25 years - our whole adult lives in the same place. It seems odd.

Glad you are in such a good space Janell! xo .... :)
