Friday Finds - proof in advertising that the good old days weren't always good

Well, my trusty Friday Finds girl, Kella MacPhee is off shooting a wedding in South Carolina, so I have collected some proof of what I have long suspected and what your mother probably never told you - the good old days weren't always good (hopefully no one is putting any of these on a scrabble tile pendant).

Oh wow. Could you read the fine-print that starting soda early in life gives kids a better chances of fitting in as a pre-teen? Sweet!

Makes you wonder what horrific things we're doing to our kids now. My mother-in-law had my husband, who was born in June, laying out in the California sun for some Vitamin D.

Oh wow! These are hilarious and unbelievable all at once. I wonder what women thought of them at the time? I bet they hated them too!

This is unbelievable! and in another way positive to see : There was a lot of rethinking the last decades
concerning women! It is not enough by half, but anyway..... I can remember many of those strange commercials in my childhood!

My aunt actually had tapeworms most of her life... They discovered it when she was in her fifties. (!) She always stayed thin and was a beautiful woman. Anyone for tapeworms?
(BTW I just joined a group on Facebook, for those who wish that the mosquito was sucking fat instead of blood. FB has a group for every thought and need, I guess.)
