The Moon is waxing/growing now in the sign of her EXALTATION and something in our life is GROWING, too.
It's a time to be taking action and moving forward. Once we get to the middle of the week and Venus gets into Aries it will be an especially good time for bold action. This doesn't mean we won't face obstacles - we know we are in the Taurus New Moon cycle that involved a fixed T-Square with Mars and Pluto that is pretty gnarly. There can and likely will be power struggles, issues around shared finances, etc. With Venus and Mercury both in Aries there will be as much to fight about as we want there to be.
So, we want to work with this energy consciously all the while understanding we are in a Pisces North Node cycle that tells us we don't want to micro-manage every detail. We will surely talk ourselves out of all kinds of possibilities with the South Node in Virgo!
Let's continue to GO WITH THE FLOW even as we take the actions that are ours to take. We aren't sitting anything out; we are just backing off a notch when things get too complicated and letting life/collective energies offer what it can to the situation, then ease back in at the right place and time.
Let's unpack the week and then I will get Part II of that Moon post up!
WEDNESDAY - Venus re-enters Aries
THIURSDAY - Uranus trines the South Node/sextiles North Node
FRIDAY - MAY 2nd - VENUS CONJUNCTS NEPTUNE, MARS LEAVES SHADOW
SUNDAY - Pluto stations retrograde
MONDAY - the Moon is still in Taurus. She met the Sun yesterday and we had the New Moon we talked about HERE, Part II of that will be up this week. As the possibilities of that New Moon chart plays out today, she meets up with Uranus (something unexpected, something new), so a monkey wrench/change is tossed in early and then Luna makes her opportunistic sextile to Saturn/stability/authority.
This is also the day Saturn in Pisces trines a retrograde Juno in Scorpio. So, there are multiple positive aspects with Saturn right now - our goals, authority, our commitments, responsibility, father/father figures.
This is a repeating aspect for Juno (marriage, our contracts/commitments, what we will do to keep the power we get from some person or situation). We had the first smooth trine back in the middle of December and we get the final/conclusion trine in late September.
Juno retrograde in Scorpio is about us looking at what we have merged/what the other party has. Looking under the hood/under the covers. Checking the details of the contract/crunching the numbers. During this retrograde trine we could be seeing something that was previously hidden. Saturn brings the reality check, a helpful limit or commitment. We can see this is a long nine-month process, but the trine is a smooth aspect - something falls into place. The re-view, re-evaluation - whatever this is for us will not be some arduous thing - although Saturn can require responsibility and discipline even in Pisces.
This will be a harmonious flow, but something about it - maybe that it is a very important commitment, maybe it's about the things that will change between one trine and the next - requires this triple dose of Saturn/Juno in 2025.
TUESDAY - The Moon in Taurus goes void off an opportunistic sextile to Venus and then moves into Gemini while we sleep EDT. A Gemini Moon is nourished by words and communication, learning, teaching, humor, the local community, siblings, a little of this and a little of that, being BUSY. She will sextile Neptune, trine Pluto and sextile Mars all before 11AM EDT, so it looks like we are up and moving. Making things happen and getting things done.
WEDNESDAY - The Moon in Gemini sextiles ruler Mercury while we sleep (EDT) and catches up with bigger-is-better beneficial Jupiter in the early afternoon. More busyness. Optimism. Adventure? Late night the Moon will go void off a square to Saturn in Pisces. Reality sets in. Maybe something won't be as easy as it looked.
This is also the day Venus re-enters Aries after her retrograde. Whatever we have been going back and forth over since early February - well we are moving forward with it. If something got held up back then and never got off the ground well maybe here is where it does.
Venus's time in Pisces is done. The rest, retreat, re-evaluation, re-turn to the past is OVER. Aries is the sign of GO, so it's very likely there is a GO here somewhere.
Keep in mind Venus will not be covering new ground until May 18th.
With Venus in Aries - Aries Suns and Aries Ascendants become more attractive - both easier on the eye and able to attract what they want. All our natal Aries houses become more attractive, too.
In Aries, Venus functions best when she takes action, when she puts herself first. In Aries, Venus will be thinking, "what's best for me?". In Aries, Venus is a WARRIOR (and, maybe, love is a battlefield ... cue Pat Benatar). This doesn't mean everything needs to be a fight. Assertive doesn't have to mean aggressive. With Venus in Aries answering to Mars for the entire month of May and Mars in Leo answering to the Sun for the entire month of May and the Sun in Taurus for the next three weeks and answering back to Venus - we have a very productive loop of energy to get things going. Action. Motivation. Assertion. Following our heart and our passions.
Something to keep in mind as we give ourselves permission to go after what we want is the impulsive nature of Aries. If Venus was always in Aries maybe our relationships would last 15 minutes and the things we bought/valued would very quickly fall out of favor and we'd be on to the next thing. Maybe not such a good long-haul energetic, but as a transit, ie transitory, Venus in Aries can get on with the business of getting us what we want in a very effective manner.
