On Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at 8:19AM EDT, the Taurus Moon opposes the Scorpio Sun giving us this month's Full Moon - our annual Full Moon in Taurus.
This Moon brings to a culmination/RESULT events set into motion last May at the New Moon in Taurus when we hungered for life as life hungered for GROWTH.
The Moon loves Taurus (the sign of Mother Nature) and this is a "stop and smell the roses" moment. Maybe we have gotten what we want and maybe we haven't.
Sometimes not getting what we want, allows us to see most clearly what we really value and what we already have.
Like all Full Moons, this a Sun/Moon opposition. The Sun is in deep, dark, transformative Scorpio and the Moon is in earthy, grounded Taurus. The polarity of death vs life. The stuff we own that is stuffed, hidden, merged, has strings attached, is REAL. The stuff we own that is visible, nourishing, we can hold in our hands, take to the bank, is REAL. Full Moons represent fullness, peak power, endings - that moment of our breath when our lungs are full just a second before we begin to exhale.
Full Moon are at their heart - oppositions. Oppositions are just what they sound like and often at a Full Moon we find ourselves working with the polarity of the two energies involved. With Scorpio, some transformation comes to light (Full Moons bring things to light) - maybe we have to surrender, there could be a loss of control. With Taurus, we turn toward the present moment - what already exists. We might take solace in what brings us comfort - nature, food, our physical senses.
Let's unpack the chart! The Moon opposes the Sun from 13 degrees Scorpio. The Moon trines the South Node. Venus, the ruler of Taurus and ruler of this lunation is finishing up in her home sign of Libra. Mars is in an exact opposition to Uranus. The Moon has just squared Pluto and after opposing the Sun - will go on to sextile Jupiter, Saturn and finally Neptune.
The Moon opposes the Sun from Taurus, so COLLECTIVELY this is all about our security, our money, our resources, what we own.
The Sun in Scorpio is shining a light on what has been merged/purged, HIDDEN - and just won't let us get too comfortable. If we are spending money we can't afford, not valuing the things we should be valuing, if we are spreading intimate information that shouldn't/doesn't need to be spread or being intimately connected with situations, people and things when those connections are DEAD or de-stabilizing - this Full Moon in earthy Taurus might illuminate some of this.
If we are feeling grateful for what we have that will be illuminated, too.
The Moon is making a smooth trine to the South Node in practical Virgo. We find comfort in the familiar. Old solutions work. Past experience proves useful. It’s as if something from before - a skill, a detail, a habit - gently reappears to help us move forward. This might connect to health or daily habit or work or a pet situation or to your personal Virgo house natal theme.
Venus is strong in her home sign of Libra and pulls our partners, partnerships and relationships into the mix. She is just past a square to Jupiter - this was happening with Chiron in the mix, so tricky/maybe painful. Jupiter amplified our desire to be loved/accepted/noticed. Venus is getting ready to cross into Scorpio. She’s moving from balance to depth, from polite conversation to truth-telling that might be uncomfortable, but can also CLEAR THE AIR.
Once in Scorpio, Venus will answer to Mars in Sagittarius, who at this Full Moon is EXACTLY opposing Uranus in Gemini. This is change/rebellion. Breakthroughs. Breakdowns. We talked about this in the weekly HERE. Nothing happens in isolation. If something is breaking/shaking/waking - here is the energy behind that. Changes come through new/unexpected (not totally unexpected because Uranus is retrograde) information, news, conversations and ideas. Words are designed to shake up our certainty.
Since the aspects are few without any major asteroids that I can see - let's take a quick look by sign!
Check your rising and Sun and then feel around the sign before and after for best results. If you have planets/points near 13 degrees of the fixed signs you will likely feel this energy strongest. Aries is the collective energy.
ARIES | ARIES RISING - recent power struggles or pressures may have shown you where control costs too much. Now the Moon in your second house brings a gentler steadiness reminding you that your worth isn’t up for negotiation! Familiar routines or skills support you, but the Sun in Scorpio asks you to release what’s shared or entangled (the drama!) so you can thrive on your own terms.
TAURUS | TAURUS RISING - the Full Moon in your sign follows emotional intensity with others maybe a revelation about power, trust, or your role in a partnership. As the Moon trines the Virgo South Node, you rediscover your center through simple pleasures, recreation, fun and self-trust. The Sun in Scorpio across the sky illuminates how your relationship growth mirrors your self-growth.
GEMINI | GEMINI RISING - the days before this lunation may have stirred buried tensions in work or health and a sense that something needed to change. Now, the Moon in your twelfth house offers peace through familiar rituals of rest or reflection. CANCER | CANCER RISING - recent friction within groups or friendships may have revealed buried or unspoken power dynamics. The Taurus Moon now brings you back to loyal allies and heartfelt intentions reminding you of what (and who) still feels good. The Sun in Scorpio asks you to channel this stability into creative expression that feels more like you.
LEO | LEO RISING - pressure between career expectations and personal control may have surfaced earlier in the week. The Taurus Moon in your tenth house shows what’s solid/what you’ve already built while the trine to the South Node in Virgo helps you ground in competence and steady effort. The Sun in Scorpio, meanwhile, turns your attention to home - success must be nourished from the roots up Leo.
VIRGO | VIRGO RISING - after grappling with intensity around beliefs or truth, maybe a confrontation with who holds the mic, the Taurus Moon brings gentle perspective. Familiar philosophies or old teachings will steady you. The Sun in Scorpio in your third house calls for honest dialogue/conversations, transformation now comes through naming what you know.
LIBRA | LIBRA RISING - recent emotional or financial strain may have revealed what you’re clinging to too tightly. The Taurus Moon helps you simplify, releasing control while holding gratitude for what remains. With the trine to your South Node in Virgo, solitude or discernment is healing. The Sun in Scorpio invites a new definition of worth that honors shared power and not dependency and can reveal what balance really means to you now.
SCORPIO | SCORPIO RISING - the Taurus Moon in your seventh house steadies your heart through dependable connection, while the South Node in Virgo recalls relationships that remind you of who you are at your best. The Sun in your own sign spotlights transformation of yourself and your closest relationships as your mirror, not your master!
SAGITTARIUS | SAGITTARIUS RISING - recent tension may have centered around your routines or body. There is a feeling of needing to reclaim your time or autonomy. Returning to old pleasures or talents reconnects you to your center. The Sun in Scorpio illuminates your friendships or long-term goals, asking which dreams still feed your heart Cappy.
AQUARIUS | AQUARIUS RISING - after confronting pressure between personal identity and public expectations, the Taurus Moon settles the energy at home. Familiar comforts or family patterns can provide grounding. The South Node in Virgo helps you manage details pragmatically, while the Sun in Scorpio highlights how career transformation can align more closely with your emotional truth Aqua.
PISCES | PISCES RISING - words may have carried power in recent days and maybe a revelation or truth has changed the air. The Taurus Moon soothes your mind through simple conversation and practical beauty. The trine to the Virgo South Node reconnects you with trusted voices. The Sun in Scorpio expands your perspective - let curiosity and compassion guide how you share your wisdom Pisces.
I hope something here is helpful.

Hi, it seems like the Scorpio horoscope is missing in your breakdown - or possibly that the words written for Libra are actually for Scorpio, and it's the content for Libra that's actually the skipped one? (I'm a late degree Libra rising, so I always read for both signs.) Thank you!
Thank you - yes, in there now!
