Lots of fresh start energy this week and some of it will be OVER-THE-TOP!
Keep in mind that conjunctions - and we have multiple this week - are like New Moons/beginnings, and they are all happening opposing that retrograde Jupiter, so this over-the-top thing is baked into the pie until these planets meet again and start a new cycle.
We want to be opening our heart and taking action AND avoid taking things too far.
This is a lot of CAPPY energy so we might expect things to be serious and require big girl/boy pants on. The energy is not so much asking for MORE effort/pushing as it is for MORE MATURE DISCERNMENT - what desires are aligned with our actual real-life capacity? We can only do so much folks. Are our ambitions chosen or inherited? Are we confusing endurance with devotion - the Cappy/Cancer axis we have talked about.
This echoes what we've been tracking lately and the Full Moon story that is playing out i.e. noticing when we are prioritizing - structure over care, function over feeling, etc. By the time we get to the end of the week and Venus squares Chiron there is something stirring up our need to think about/feel our WORTH inside the Cappy system/Saturn's world - am I valued or just useful? Do I have to earn love and respect? What part of me am I ignoring/or what part is being ignored because it is not efficient?
New world coming folks and this is all part of the process.
TUESDAY - Sun conjunct Venus
WEDNESDAY - Venus conjunct Mars
THURSDAY - Mercury sextile North Node/trine South Node
FRIDAY - Sun conjunct Mars, Venus opposes Jupiter retro
SATURDAY - Sun and Mars oppose Jupiter retro
SUNDAY - Venus squares Chiron
TUESDAY - Sun meets Venus and starts a new cycle. Our heart opens. What we want (Venus) feels personal again (the Sun). The Sun speaks of visibility and identity, and Venus is all about what we want, our relationships, our money/resources, our values, beauty. In Cappy we could be feeling more ambitious. With Jupiter opposing maybe a lot more ambitious.
This meeting sets the tone for the week - what we want/desires is who we are. So, what do we want?
Venus/Sun can bring attention and feel good and can clarify aesthetic choices, value judgements, financial situations and relationship longings. Enjoy this energy just don't overdo because we can see that Jupiter opposition is coming!
WEDNESDAY - Venus meets Mars and starts a new cycle. WANT BECOMES PURSUIT. What we want and what we have to do to get what we want are on the same page. Because this follows the Sun/Venus it's not just acting on what we are attracted to - it's acting on something that feels SELF-DEFINING. What we do is who we are.
In Cappy, again, this needs to be sustainable, productive, mature.
THURSDAY - Mercury sextiles the North Node and trines the South Node. Old narratives are easy to articulate/talk about. New directions feel mentally accessible. Conversations, messages, words, realizations, information ARE IMPORTANT. Even fated. PAY ATTENTION. There is a conversation/information now that is directing us forward. Keep in mind it will be very easy to repeat the same old story - the trine to the past/south node is stronger than the sextile - so make sure you are choosing a story that SUPPORTS GROWTH. Some effort is required here.
This is where insight can prevent over-reach later in the week if we take a moment and LISTEN.
FRIDAY - Sun meets Mars and Venus opposes Jupiter retro. Sun/Mars is assertion/courage/identity in motion. Venus/Jupiter opposition can be a good thing - and some will be LUCKY - but it can also bring inflated expectations. It looks like - SOMETHING WE DO ON FRIDAY BRINGS US FACE-TO-FACE with overdoing, overpromising, a disconnect between desire and reality or maybe moral/philosophical differences with someone else. Keep in mind we don't want to be mistaking intensity or enthusiasm for truth/facts. When Venus opposes Jupiter we want MORE and that's ok, just don't go too far with this. We want to be growing AND balanced.
SATURDAY - Sun and Mars, together, oppose Jupiter retro. Ask yourself - is this growth or just MORE? This is the peak of the week's tension/oppositions. This could look like - a surge of confidence followed by doubt or over-committing or moralizing or we feel compelled to justify ourselves or we act boldly (or did) and are left to wonder why it mattered so much or maybe we are challenged by someone who is mirroring our own beliefs back to us. There could be something where we feel like if we don't do this now, we are going to miss our chance happening at the same time (because Jupiter is still retrograde and so our luck/expansion is more of an inside job) that we are asking ourselves - BUT what story am I trying to prove?
Ask yourself - would I still want this if no one else noticed? Or maybe is this courage or defiance? Pause before doubling down. Choose measured action instead of maximum action. Choose wisdom over ego.
SUNDAY - Venus squares Chiron. Ouch. This will probably be felt strongest if we pushed too hard yesterday/earlier in the week. Old wounds around worth, desirability, resources/money, relationships/rejection. This is tension/frustration. Our insecurities and vulnerabilities can be exposed. We are being asked to STAY PRESENT with vulnerability without needing validation/apology/immediate resolution. Note - more squares to Chiron are coming from the Cappy planets - stay humble.
The week is kind of set up for IGNITION followed by meaning-making followed by healing/correction.
The Cappy pile-up grounds/hardens the whole week.
Venus in Cappy says that desire must be useful. Mars in Capricorn says that action must be justified/be able to bring real-world results. Every aspect this week that involves Cappy says "ok, but how does this actually work in the real world?". Keep this in mind.
NOTE starting next week the Aquarius stellium is going to begin to take over and it will pull us into February and Eclipse season and the joining of Saturn and Neptune at the beginning of the beginning. HUGE stuff coming folks.

Venezuela's Sun is tightly conjunct the U.S. Sun so the Cancer Full Moon two days ago was right on their Sun, too. They also have a tight Jupiter/Venus/Mercury (lots of goodies, but complicated) tight on Trump's Gemini placements (Uranus, Sun, North Node) including their Jupiter exact on Trump's North Node of Fate - so he will see them and see them as the way forward. We'll take a longer look ....
