Full Moon in Taurus | November 15th, 2024 - shocking/#notshocking results and endings, second chances on steroids, for some - painful circumstances create opportunities and for others - old wounds are healed by positive events, lots of changes ahead

On Friday, November 15th, 2024 at 4:27PM EST, the Taurus Moon opposes the Scorpio Sun giving us this month's Full Moon - our annual Full Moon in Taurus. This Moon brings to a culmination/RESULT events set into motion last May at the New Moon in Taurus when we hungered for life as life hungered for GROWTH.

The Moon loves Taurus (the sign of Mother Nature) and this is a "stop and smell the roses" moment. Maybe we have gotten what we want and maybe we haven't.

Sometimes not getting what we want, lets us see very clearly what we already have.

Like all Full Moons, this a Sun/Moon opposition. The Sun is in deep, dark, transformative Scorpio and the Moon is in earthy, grounded Taurus. The polarity of death vs life. The stuff we own that is stuffed, hidden, merged, has strings attached, is REAL. The stuff we own that is visible, nourishing, we can hold in our hands, take to the bank, is REAL. Full Moons represent fullness, peak power, endings - that moment of our breath when our lungs are full just a second before we begin to exhale.

There is a watershed held within this Full Moon.

The Moon is tightly conjunct the great-awakener Uranus. Uranus here says the essence of what is SHOWN by the bright light of this Full Moon - is so powerfully disruptive that we cannot hope to control it.

Let's dive right in and unpack the chart!

The Moon opposes the Sun from 24 degrees Taurus/Scorpio.

Oppositions are just what they sound like and often at a Full Moon we find ourselves working with the polarity of the two energies involved. With Scorpio, some transformation comes to light (Full Moons bring things to light) - maybe we have to surrender, there could be a loss of control. With Taurus, we turn toward the present moment - what already exists. We might take solace in what brings us comfort - nature, food, our physical senses.

The Full Moon is conjunct 'expect the unexpected' Uranus.

Uranus is a revolutionary energy. It is lightning. It smashes the old forms and initiates change. Uranus is an energy out of time. It defies our past. It defies our logic. In Taurus, it has been upending our need for traditional security for years. Uranus says - CHANGE. REBEL. Uranus challenges us to stop trying to earn brownie points for compliance. There is no controlling this energy - there is only the FACT we are meeting this energy and the FACT we will be changed by this energy.

Note - Pluto will be back in Aquarius is 4 DAYS. Never to return to Capricorn in our lifetimes. He goes out with a BANG via the United States election results. We can see CLEARLY the 'enemy-patterning' built into our existing culture via the old warring kings. We seek out an enemy or are TRIGGERED into seeing an enemy. This is the way of our old tribalistic (matriarchy) and individualistic (patriarchy) societies, but as we move into this new collective society we can simply see and KNOW who other people are and respond accordingly. We don't have to be triggered into seeing them as wrong or dangerous just because we don't agree with them/just because they aren't like us.

I am #shocked #notshocked by all the pundits, who, looking at the United States election results think this is moving us backward. Trump IS Uranus (the planet that co-rules Aquarius) with Uranus tightly conjunct his 10th house Sun and North Node. He cannot NOT change things. Change is ALWAYS moving us forward.

The Full Moon conjunct Uranus is sextiling Neptune and trining Pluto. Everything is applying - happening IN THE FUTURE. This is about creative opportunities and empowerment via whatever is coming to light/concluding/showing results now. I got into astrology to 'know what was going to happen' only to discover there isn't a thing 'that is going to happen'. We can know absolutely nothing of where we are going, and we will still be fine.

The Full Moon's final aspect is a trine to Pluto at the very end of Capricorn. Stay connected to reality. This is a powerful Earth trine. This is where our power is right now - in the long game, in our connection to reality, in what we can hold in our hands.

Venus, the ruler of this Full Moon via her rulership of Taurus, is at 4 degrees Capricorn EXACTLY conjunct asteroid Ixion. Named for the golden king, turned criminal given a second chance by Jupiter - the King of the Gods (he later blows it, but is this baked in the cake or can we change this part? I'm not sure). So, Venus, the ruler of this Full Moon meets Ixion (the king/criminal who gets a second chance) RIGHT NOW - I mean, if you were following my election series, you will see how crazy synchronistic this all is!

I can't make this stuff up folks.

THIS IS A POWERFUL MOON FOR SECOND CHANCES!

In the iChing hexagram 24 (the Moon) is 'returning'. Our journey takes us out and we come home again. Life regenerates from the roots. Hexagram 4 (Venus, the ruler) is 'not knowing'. We can't go running after answers as if we are afraid to not know. It is more respectful of the 'answer' to know that it cannot be had so quickly.

There is something in these energies about all of this now, too.

Bottom line - we are concluding a chapter that goes out with an #unexpected, #not totally unexpected BANG. The next two weeks, as this Full Moon plays itself out are STRONGLY Uranian, although Saturn's direct station at the same time adds structure and stability. This could be about (as I wrote in the weekly HERE) a jarring conclusion/result where our ego (maybe our heart) is challenged by what we LOSE or the sudden breakthrough we have been needing. The Moon's sextile to Neptune and trine to Pluto - energetics that FOLLOW the Full Moon are good news for us. Creative opportunities can come from this. Empowerment can come from this. No matter what your situation life has your back.

Stay flexible. There is alot going to happen this year and next and the GOLD/Jupiter is in Gemini - so will come by being versatile and accommodating to new information, conversations and FACTS as they present themselves. Pluto is going to move into Aquarius for the third and final time after 16 years in Capricorn. Powerful endings as leadership/ownership changes. Expect fear of AI and aliens to be back in the news. Mercury is going to go retrograde, followed by Mars. Not alot is set in stone right now. Next year all the planets and the Node of Fate will change signs - some just for a toe dip and some for a LONG visit. In the middle of March we have an unprecedented stellium in Pisces that I am going to look at as we start looking ahead to 2025 as well as a host of other aspects and transits!

The Moon's final aspect being that smooth 'brakes-off' trine to Pluto speaks of EMPOWERMENT, life AFTER death, big money stuff and intimate situations that move us forward or produce smooth endings. It's the last Super Moon of the year and not a bad Moon at all as long as we can stay flexible and on our toes.

Don't dig in because you might need to pivot.

Maybe the best thing we have going for us these days is Jupiter retrograde's continuing sextile to Chiron (a repeating aspect we will finish up with in May 2025). The only one who could get Chiron off that damn rock was Jupiter, so he is the best chance for relieving our pain, too.

Maybe we get lucky - Jupiter - through painful circumstances - Chiron (think about Harris's followers) or maybe old wounds - Chiron - are healed by lucky events - Jupiter (think about Trump's followers).

Retrograde in Gemini, this is about talking, learning, keeping an OPEN MIND. This isn't about some brand new thing. This is about going back to what we had before (this is all so perfectly represented by the United States election and our newish Gemini President, but there is alot more going on here than that) and allowing ourselves a REVISED EXPERIENCE.

Revised conversations, revised information, revised facts. Changes in our thinking. With Chiron this is about overcoming a wound by learning to live with it. Allowing the wound to change us. With Chiron in Aries we become stronger, more brave, more resilient, more motivated and more independent.

xo all - I hope something here is helpful.
