A BIG Full Moon week.
And, if my title sounds like this all happened last week - it kind of did for some people. Uranus is a planet out of time so spins the future into the past. Maybe so we can get more comfortable with it. Maybe just to mess with us. Who knows. Life on planet Earth is not for sissies, folks.
With Venus moving into Capricorn and answering to Saturn in Pisces - this week opens up a time to invest our life force energy more consciously and trust our intuitive knowing of what amount of investment is needed. Instead of trying to save the world, maybe it's time to learn to LIVE MORE FULLY IN IT. We are all in this together. Even the people we don't agree with.
MONDAY - Venus enters Capricorn
TUESDAY - Mercury squares Saturn
THURSDAY - Venus inconjuncts Mars
FRIDAY - Saturn stations direct, Full Moon in Taurus
SATURDAY - Venus squares North Node, Sun opposes Uranus
MONDAY - Venus moves into Capricorn until December 7th - when she will, hand-in-hand with Ceres, move into Aquarius - just as Mars stations retrograde in the opposite sign of Leo. Mark your calendar to see what happens on or very near that day!
For now, with Venus in sober Cappy we are attracting what we want/need through Cappy behaviors - being sober, competent, realistic, goal-oriented, smart, funny, patient, structured, stable, being a boss. People born with Venus in Cappy probably like to be seen this way and are attracted to partners who are like this (of course, there are other chart factors that will influence this). For our lovely, benevolent Venus this is something like being an adult woman living in her father's house. There are rules. Of course, with Saturn still in Pisces, the rules are flexible. And with Saturn still retrograde in Pisces - the rules are OLD RULES.
Some challenges that might come up for some people as Venus moves through Capricorn - do we value ourselves and other people only when we/they are being productive/only when they are WORKING. The whole feeling we have to 'earn love' is very Venus in Capricorn, and answering to a retrograde Saturn, old situations where we worked too hard or not hard enough or where we didn't quite measure up can come up to be rehashed.
TUESDAY - Mercury reaches 12 degrees Sagittarius and squares Saturn, retrograde in Pisces. Saturn is going to station direct here in just 3 days and is strong and still. So, keep in mind, Saturn IS going to start moving, but NOT YET, so whatever this roadblock is, this "no", this information we don't want to hear, well, we are kind of stuck with it FOR NOW.
Communications and conversations can be challenging. People will not want to hear what other people are saying. Bold language will not be appreciated.
It can be helpful when you see a square to think - crisis, so action needed. Where do you need to accept some kind of limit? This is tension and frustration that maybe impacts our hope/optimism or whatever this BIG thing is we want to do. We can't stretch out just yet.
Keep in mind neither Mercury nor Saturn is really operating at his best here, so everything is probably being INFLATED. This hold-up/whatever this is can seem bigger than it actually is with a Pisces/Sagittarius square. There may be limits/reality checks, yes, but, keep in mind, Mercury is covering ground we are going to be back-and-forth over, so this stop for now, may not be a stop-forever. It may be needed, so things can be even better later. So, other things/better things can fall into place and we can catch up with them when the time is right. Mercury stations retrograde next week. There are revisions ahead with our plans, ideas, THINKING and beliefs. Stay flexible.
THURSDAY - Venus reaches 3 degrees Capricorn and inconjuncts Mars in Leo. This is a 'rock and a hard place' aspect. Mars in Leo wants to go/shine/be bold and Venus in Cappy is thinking about our responsibilities, our future stability, our long-term commitments and probably our bank account. There is give and take needed here. No one can win, but no one needs to TOTALLY lose either. This can also show up as a he vs she thing or a feminine vs masculine energy thing - neither party can really win if the other party totally loses. But, we can't have a win/win either. Keep this in mind.
FRIDAY - After being retrograde since the end of June, Saturn stations direct at 12 degrees Pisces. Hold ups involving who is in charge, our work/career, duties and responsibilities will start to MOVE FORWARD.
This is happening as the Moon, at 24 degrees Taurus, opposes the Sun at 24 degrees Scorpio. Our annual Full Moon in Taurus, tightly conjunct anything-can-happen (and probably just did) Uranus and conjunct (off with their head) Algol, trine Pluto and sextile Neptune looks interesting.
EXPECT A BIG POST - AND THE UNEXPECTED!
SATURDAY - Venus reaches 5 degrees Capricorn and squares the North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra while the Sun reaches 24 degrees Scorpio and opposes Uranus in Taurus
Here is where a relationship/financial/career issue comes to a CROSSROAD. Are we going to choose something NEW, something more independent, true to ourselves, something we might be more passionate about or are we going to fall back into habits that we have outgrown, but are more comfortable - because they are familiar? This can show up as a person/situation that is very familiar. We have run up against this kind of thing before/been here before, and it is up to us to choose a newer response. Venus in Cappy pushes us via tension and frustration to understand that what we are holding onto because we think it is keeping us safe is actually the very thing that is part of keeping us stuck when we want to attract something NEW.
Bottom line - the way forward, at this point in time and this point in time cannot be skipped, is Aries/masculine and it comes through some kind of Cappy/authority/responsibility DISCOMFORT. Take charge. Have courage. Stay in your own shoes.
We also have the Sun, in intense and probing Scorpio moving into an opposition with Uranus - the catalyst. This is part of the Full Moon in Taurus story. This could be a JARRING CONCLUSION where our ego is challenged by what we lose. Here is the Sun, shining a bright light - that includes a look under the covers/the hood - at what is changing or needs to. The fixed water of Scorpio can hold icebergs together, but also give us frostbite if we stay too long in the same place. Change is good, but sometimes only in hindsight. In just a few months Uranus will leave Taurus and move into Gemini - a space we are naturally more inclined toward diversity and flexibility. How has our money, values, resources, self-esteem, Taurus natal house theme changed since 2018? Maybe this is what we are looking at. Happening as Venus (ruler of Taurus) squares the Nodes of Fate, maybe this opposition pushes us to make new choices.
Solar oppositions can be good times to cull what isn't supporting the life in our life. Uranus might make quick work of some of this with a BREAK, BREAK-UP, BREAKDOWN OR BREAKTHROUGH.
The Moon through the week - we start the week with the Moon in Pisces - we are drifting, maybe nostalgic, maybe disappointed. We might be under the weather or tired. On 11/11 - what day is that? MONDAY! There is a lovely Sun trine Moon (happening with the Moon at 19 degrees Pisces, this is the IC/roots of Biden's chart where Saturn squatted for much of last summer), so pull yourself together for that if you are immersed in the reality check of the Mercury/Saturn current events. The Moon/Sun water trine - is Scorpio/Pisces. This is very potent MAGIC and the numbers of the date increase its power. Choose your words, your thoughts, everything you are absorbing by how they make you feel. Make an EFFORT TO FEEL GOOD. Make art. Meditate. Listen to music. Make music. Dream. We don't actually have to do much at all to create MAGIC with this energy. On Tuesday, the Moon moves into Aries and things get a little more focused/fiery. Some people will want to take action. Some will want to be alone. Some will want to fight. After some kind of power struggle on Thursday afternoon EST, the Moon will move into her exalted status in Taurus where she starts building toward Friday's Full Moon. As she always does, the Moon in Taurus brings our attention to what we are choosing to nourish ourselves with - what we take into our lives and what we BECOME as a result.
Back with that post next.
