weekly astrology forecast | may 12th, 2024 to may 18th, 2024 - full moon starts the week by bringing powerful endings and what is hidden to light, surprises and arguments at week's end, pivotal week ahead

MONDAY - Full Moon in Scorpio, Mercury squares Pluto

THURSDAY - Sun sextile North Node and trine South Node

SATURDAY - Sun conjunct Uranus

SUNDAY - Mercury square Mars, Jupiter squares North and South Nodes

This week is all about Monday's powerful Full Moon that will reverberate most strongly over the next couple weeks.

Big endings and culminations. Hidden stuff - the things we haven't wanted to look at or weren't ready to see, coming to light.

At the end of the week - expect the unexpected.

The Sun/our ego gets his annual 'get out of jail free card' as we are freed from EXPIRED IDENTITIES. What we own, what we have, what we value is highlighted. Crowns slip from tired heads. Outcomes will vary, but it's best to stay open to what is NEW and changing with this one. Expect a BREAKTHROUGH. Clinging to what is "dead" can bring breakdowns and break-ups

This is happening in lock-step with a Mars/Mercury square that speaks of an argument/disagreement and a Jupiter/Nodes square that speaks of an expansive new direction.

MONDAY - the Full Moon at 22 degrees Scorpio conjoins Juno, opposes Uranus in Taurus, squares Pallas in Aquarius and trines the North Node. See the Full Moon post HERE.

TUESDAY- WEDNESDAY - the Moon is in high-flying Sagittarius and making multiple smooth aspects. This brings confidence and hope. Ceres meets Saturn at the final degree of Pisces - the end of the end. We probably won't be able to see what is next, but we can clearly see what is OVER.

THURSDAY - the Moon goes void off a reality-check square to Saturn - ouch - and then moves into Capricorn and squares Neptune. With the Moon in Cappy we will feel better if we are working/being productive, but the square to Neptune adds confusion and avoidance. If we have been over-working this can be where a break is needed. If we have been avoiding something that needs doing we can use the Cappy Moon to drill down and get it done. Maybe play some music while you work to keep Neptune happy :)

This is also the day that Venus leaves the shadow of her LONG retrograde. The re-evaluation of what we want/value is OVER. The Sun in Taurus, answering to Venus, reaches his exact trine to the South Node for a smooth/easy release of old habits, the need for things to go a certain way, the need for things to be perfect. At the same time the Sun is sextiling - OPPORTUNITY - the North Node in Pisces. This will take a little more work than the trine, but there is a way forward here that lines us up with our best path forward and we will find it.

FRIDAY - The Moon in sober Capricorn trines Mercury and squares Venus. Conversations are practical and serious. The square to Venus in Aries brings some tension/frustration.

SATURDAY - the Sun meets Uranus for our annual SURPRISE. Expect the unexpected. This is great energy for starting anew, breaking away from the old, doing something DIFFERENT. This is about the future. This is about individuality and freedom. Maybe here, at the end of the week, we get a sneak-peek at the something 'NEW' to fill the space vacated by whatever we released at the Full Moon. The Moon in Cappy is trining Uranus, so this NEW is something solid/real.

SUNDAY - Mercury squaring Mars makes this energy ripe for an argument/disagreement. This is fixed energy, so everyone can be dug into their positions. Voices are stubborn. There is maybe a need for attention/appreciation/fun (or maybe this is just our ego) clashing with a need to be practical or to hold onto what we have. Words can be sharp/competitive.

At the same time Jupiter in Gemini reaches a square to the Nodes of Fate. Squares to the Nodes are TURNING POINTS and Jupiter squares are more benevolent than other squares. We can either lean toward what needs fixing - the Virgo - or toward the future - new dreams, our faith in the future, something less solid, but also with less boundaries.

A pivotal week folks, be sure to read the Full Moon post HERE for more insight. I hope something here is helpful.
