On June 1st, 2025, Venus reaches 25 degrees Aries and meets up with Chiron and Eris and Ophelia. This is already in play and will be a brief but potent part of Venus's journey home to Taurus next week.
After Venus's LONG slog through Pisces and Aries this year (going back to go forward, another chance at a better ending, returning to her compassionate heart after the battle or just back to lick her wounds) it will feel good to have her home in Taurus. For much of June we will have Venus in Taurus and Jupiter exalted in Cancer - so the feminine energy/comfort will be STRONG. In July, Venus will move into Gemini along with Uranus (who hasn't changed signs since 2018), so that looks interesting!
No one has to be told we are in a time of immense/intense structural change. But, yes, here I am saying it :)
The change is no longer coming. The change is here. This is all part of the old world's end/loss of meaning, that is so damn painful, and the new world's beginning/lack of meaning, that is so damn painful. We are something like the caterpillar turning into the butterfly in that chrysalis. Everything changing. Brains turning to mush. Some of us deeply regretting our choice to be here now to transform (if we even had one) and looking back fondly at our time as a caterpillar.
Why didn't we at least appreciate the pace?!!
Venus (along with Mercury) spent the first part of 2025 kind of showing us what Saturn and Neptune will do more decisively later in the year. Now, done with her back and forth, and at the very end of Aries, one of her least favorite signs, Venus reaches Chiron - the energy of this very old wound (that is also a gift) that we have brought from Uranus/collective trauma to Saturn/our current reality. Eris is here, too and we know what happened the last time Eris was at a party and didn't feel welcome.

When Eris shows up, we can expect some conflict between our unique individual selves and our desire to fit in. She can catalyze unexpected events that we find challenging because they trigger WHAT HAS BEEN NEGLECTED (or hidden).
So, we've got Venus - our feminine energy/women, our self-esteem and what we value, our resources and money, our relationships - meeting this very old wound around our identity/ability to take care of ourselves and be ourselves and what has been NEGLECTED (or hidden).
It is not possible for us to put up with what our mothers/fathers/grandmothers and grandfathers did (building a life to avoid desertion), and, if we are trying to do this now it will feel like we are carrying around something that is dead. It might feel like we are dead. Life isn't about proving ourselves anymore. Life is about being ourselves.
There is an emptiness in any space we have been sacrificing/neglecting ourselves because it is a space that only we ourselves can fill now and we aren't. The more spacey we feel the more spaces we have!
It's not a coincidence we had the whole Snow White film fiasco during the Venus retrograde in Pisces and Aries. But the media lost the script. They didn't understand the backstory/what was really happening ...
As if Venus and Chiron and Eris aren't enough, we also have asteroid Ophelia.
Named for a Shakespearean character, Ophelia, after Hamlet has broken their engagement and falsely accused her of being impure (plus there is the whole 'killed her father' thing), is heavy with grief and madness (the hatter kind) and wandering the countryside picking flowers when she falls into a stream and drowns. Why is she here now? What does she speak of here? The grieving daughter - which we certainly all are to a greater or lesser degree as the structures unravel, Ophelia was conjunct Sedna when Sedna was discovered and interestingly, they were both manipulated by their fathers in their choice of marriage partners. A certain kind of madness that grows within us when our plans all fall apart through no fault of our own or maybe when we are misrepresented as something we are not, maybe something lesser than what we know we are? Although a central character she is spoken of as a daughter, sister, fiancé, madwoman, corpse, but never as herself. She often shows up prominently in charts - natal and by transit - around themes of invisibility and when we are feeling INVISIBLE.
So, we have Venus in Aries, after some back-and-forth and almost surely putting herself FIRST at this point, striding into a party of Chiron (old wound around identity), Eris (what we have neglected) and Ophelia (how we have been made to feel invisible).
(and of course keep in mind this is all simply my telling and there are probably myriad ways to tell this)
This meeting is happening with Mercury having just passed over the Sun (received a MESSAGE/download) and the Sun in Gemini is answering to Mercury and not going to make another aspect for a couple weeks (!), signaling this is an important time with important information, communications and messages, likely multiple in Gemini - and if this 'meeting' is part of the messages - something we will be sitting with for quite a bit. Ophelia is tightly conjunct my Sun/Saturn in my natal and exact on my Mercury at the time of this conjunction. Surely, it will DAWN ON ME what this is all about at some point and probably you, too :)
With the South Node in Virgo and the North Node in Pisces - there can be, collectively, a fear of losing material support if we stop playing our role or stop being obedient or useful. Many of us have learned, through lifetimes where we have had a need to focus on the tribe (or maybe king/father with everything answering to Mars in Leo) to survive - to adapt, perform and over-function. What can hold us back with the South Node in Virgo? Overthinking. Trying to be perfect. Procrastinating. Waiting for the exact right moment, Waiting for permission. We sabotage our own momentum, cling to the known (Virgo!) and avoid the unknown (Pisces!). With the South Node in Virgo, fear can feel like logic. It can also bring up trauma cycles - I'm looking at people born in the 1960's with Uranus/Pluto in Virgo maybe especially - that taught us we have to be useful to others in order to get our needs met.
In the past - power equaled danger. Speaking out equaled abandonment.
Goddesses were forgotten. Priestesses were enslaved. Women who said 'no' lost resources and reputations and were silenced.
The world has changed/moved on. Is changing. Is moving on.
It's not that we can't have the relationship, the resources, the money, even the 'happily ever after' going forward - it's just that they must come through authenticity now. If we have to twist ourselves into a pretzel, the energies in play are designed to untwist us and toss salt all over our living room and life.
This is the last time Venus will meet Chiron in Aries. We are at this crossroads and the path behind us is gone/gone dark. We are standing uncomfortably with the oldest vow our bodies have ever made (and Marianne Williamson said this so well in one of her books, something about "who are you NOT to shine, it is your light and not your darkness that you are most afraid of") - that if we make ourselves smaller, if we dim our light to make others more comfortable, to make others appear bigger- we will survive. The tribe/the king, the constancy (even if we ourselves are twisted into an Auntie Anne's) will keep us safe.
This may have been true once. It probably was. This is no longer true.
Your body/us right now - doesn't want a strategy or a business plan or a five-year/ten-year action plan - the only thing your body wants is for you to be in it. The only thing your body wants is to be EMBODIED (by you). We need presence, receptivity and embodied worth - knowing our worth makes our aura expand and then life MUST respond and bring what we need to us. Life conspires to support that which is real and authentic. This "support" might not look like what we are used to as we move into the future. We might be called to have a simpler life, fewer things and fewer people in our lives. We will have to see how this new air and fire world goes ... almost certainly this will be more about soul embodiment than rehearsed skill, more about people skills than intellect, more about being real and truly ourselves than about our training and qualifications. The stuff that stands in the way of this is on its way out. The stuff that is supportive of this is on its way in/gets to stay. We just have to make the space for it ....
For now, Venus/Chiron is meant to show us, maybe via something hurtful - a WEAKNESS. A vulnerability. Allow it to be felt (not neglected) and to be seen (not made invisible).
Then just a couple days after the Venus, Chiron, Eris, Ophelia pow-wow, Venus makes a supportive sextile to Jupiter. An opportunity to expand. To attract more. Maybe here is where the big picture connects and we can see from a higher perspective. We know more. We have more.
This is Venus's final major aspect on her way out of Aries and Jupiter's final major aspect on his way out of Gemini. We will talk about this in the June forecast.

Marilyn Monroe had a tight Sun/Ophelia conjunction and a tight Chiron/Venus conjunction. Angelina Jolie has an exact Ophelia/Chiron conjunction and an exact Venus/Ascendent conjunction in a tight T-Square with Uranus (Venus/Ascendent focal point). Jennifer Aniston (seeing Jolie made me go looking) has an exact Chiron/North Node conjunction at 0 Aries, so on the Aries point (wounding on a collective point of attention) with Angelina's strong Mars tight on her debilitated Venus in Aries.
