So, where are we?
The Pisces party has broken up. In some area of your life - you are AWAKE now.
We have six planets in Aries. Action, Impulsivity. Passion, Anger. Anxiety. Excitement. How does this feel for you?
Saturn and Neptune are still tight in Aries, but Ceres is beginning to slip away.
We start the month with the Chiron/Venus/Eris/Ophelia - healing harmful relationship and self-esteem wounds and vulnerabilities. We talked about that HERE. Then Venus comes home to Taurus (this week). This is good news. Then (next week) Jupiter moves from a sign of his debility into a sign of his EXALTATION for the next year. This is good news, too. He (as we) will face squares with the Aries planets mid-month - and we have some other challenges mid-month - we will get through them. Then Mars FINALLY leaves Leo and moves into Virgo. Normally, this is not such a great thing, BUT since Mars has been back and forth through Leo - part of his Cancer/Leo retrograde that brought the war and the king home - for months, we are all needing to move on from the Mars in Leo cycle. Mars in Virgo will allow our actions to be more targeted and precise. Efficient and effective. This will probably help to calm down the mid-month energies. The Moons - Full Moon in Sag on June 11th and New Moon in Cancer on June 25th, both look very promising. The June 25th Moon conjunct Jupiter/king of the Gods and trining Mars (the trigger) is exact on Prince William's natal Moon and opposes J.D. Vance's natal Jupiter - looks like BIG changes for both of them over the next 6 months and 18 months and maybe even within two weeks of that Moon.
Maybe the biggest story collectively is the "AI is going to kill us" energy (Pluto in Aqua being activated with the Aries sextiles plus the Mercury/Sun in Gemini) that is not discountable. With the myriad ways this could happen it seems to reason it will - although with the South Node in Virgo, fear can seem logical. Keep that in mind. One thing that looks scary certain at this point is that detaching the journey from the destination - skipping the messy middle where we actually do the work - upends thousands of years of human history/herstory that seems to be quite literally the way we learn and grow. And this is just one of too many ramifications to list. I don't have the answers but have found some startling astrology to talk about, that might be especially interesting to any student of Rudolf Steiner's work or Human Design.
For now, let's take a look at the week ahead. Keep in mind I am writing about aspects when they are most exact - they can play out as they apply and even as they unwind themselves.
MONDAY - First Quarter Moon
WEDNESDAY - Venus sextiles Jupiter
THURSDAY - Mercury sextiles Mars, Mercury squares Nodes of Fate
FRIDAY - Venus enters Taurus, Mercury sextiles Chiron, Mars inconjunct North Node
SUNDAY - Mercury conjuncts Jupiter and then enters Cancer (will square Saturn next day)
We start the week on MONDAY with the First Quarter Moon - the Moon's solar challenge after last week's Gemini New Moon. The Sun/Moon were together then/on the same page, now we have this tension/frustration between the Moon in Virgo (12 degrees) and the Sun in Gemini. The Gemini Sun (as us) is zipping along and the Moon steps in and taps us on the shoulder - uh, Houston, WE HAVE A PROBLEM. Our attention goes to an error/what needs fixing. The information, communication, PROBLEM slows us down and we need to correct it. There is no skipping this step, it will only get bigger or worse. Pay attention. Give the matter your attention. FIX THIS.
On WEDNESDAY - Venus reaches 28 degrees Aries and sextiles Jupiter in Gemini. Sextiles create opportunities when we take action/set something in motion. We are more confident and more attractive and other people respond favorably. Our relationships and finances can grow. Good energy to spend a little extra moula. Good news can come in. We can get LUCKY. When our two most benevolent planets are making nice, something good is sure to happen!
On THURSDAY - Mercury squares the Node of Fate and sextiles Mars. This brings us to some kind of crossroads where we are choosing between the old/the Virgo - (in general) the habits, the details, the perfection, maybe the mountains we are making out of molehills and the new/Pisces - (in general) the more boundless/less clearly defined, the more trust in something bigger than ourselves, the faith, the big-picture, the compassion, the connection. Mercury/Mars tells us to be walking our talk. Our actions and our words are simpatico and creating opportunities. The way through the Mercury/Nodal square - and keep in mind aspects to the Nodes are FATED - is this sextile to Mars in Leo. Confident, courageous action.
On FRIDAY - Venus comes home to Taurus. Venus loves (and rules) Taurus. After her weeks in Aries trying to be a lover and a fighter, she is quite content to settle into herself again. Taurus suns and rising signs get more attractive (both physically attractive and more able to attract). Taurus is a fertile earth sign. She is the earth in a sense. Taurus rules our 2nd house of love, money and values. Taurus is the sign of comfort. She values simplicity and quality - fancy or complicated embellishments just get in the way of true comfort. It gets easier to see (and feel) that now. With Venus here until July 4th what we want and what we need are fused into the same thing. The power and real beauty of Venus in Taurus is a deep seeded belief that everything we need is available to us. Either we have it, or we can attract it, if we believe we are worth it.
This is also the day Mercury sextiles Chiron - words are healing especially when they are delivered lightly, maybe quickly, maybe with humor. Don't overthink this. Vulnerabilities/wounds can be discussed - just keep it light. Mars reaches a rock and hard place with the North Node of Fate - our best way forward - indicating an adjustment is needed. This is Leo/Pisces - there is no middle ground with something. This is an 'agree to disagree' thing - situations will not be tied up with big red bows no matter what we do, so we will want to just do our best with this.
SUNDAY - Mercury, finishing up in his home sign, catches up with Jupiter - GOOD NEWS, confident talk, words are expansive/beneficial. HEADS UP - we will likely come 'down to earth' with whatever this is a bit next week as Mercury squares Saturn/reality check, but let's enjoy this one for as long as we can. We KNOW MORE, words and the news and information feel good, etc.
Later this same day, off his high with Jupiter, Mercury moves into Cancer where he/she will hang his hat until June 26th (when he moves into Leo where he will station retrograde on July 18th). We will be feeling what people are saying now. Our own words will be impacting other people emotionally, too.
For the next couple weeks, we will be thinking/talking/writing/dealing with Cancerian issues more often - home, family, real estate, renovation, home business, ancestry, the past, mothers, country, safety, security. As well as our personal Cancer natal house theme. We could be more nostalgic.
With Mercury in Cancer, we might sometimes need to step back and ask ourselves - "am I feeling the actual situation or am I feeling my thinking about the situation?".
With Mercury in Cancer words come from the gut and are taken personally. They can be soothing, or they can be painful. Keep this in mind as we come off Mercury in Gemini's verbal tendency to shoot from the hip.
