the astrology of the end of the trump musk bromance | the big, beautiful bill leads to the big, beautiful breakup, the wounds of narcissistic fathers and their sons who fall from the sky, challenges ahead for trump

With the Venus/Chiron/Eris conjunction, that we talked about HERE, nearly exact on Musk's public/reputation mid-heaven, the Sun on Trump's disruptive Uranus and Mercury on Musk's sensitive and hidden 12th house Sun (drug use being talked about, secrets voiced), AND, "the trigger" transiting Mars on Trump's Mars/Ascendent, Musk's South Node and opposing Musk's Mars and North Node, maybe Trump fired the first personal shot by telling the German chancellor at the oval office, "I'm very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot. Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore.” 

Twelve minutes later as the Moon in Libra (partnerships) - answering to that stressed out Venus at the end of fiery Aries (war) waxed over Musk's natal and disruptive Uranus - both of these men born to be DISRUPTORS - Musk replied with a disparaging tweet about the "big, beautiful bill" - at least in part because it left him (electric vehicles) out - ERIS! 

(he went on to tweet that the reason Trump hadn't released the Epstein files is that Trump is in them)

Musk has an EXACT Chiron/Eris conjunction in Aries in his natal chart. This being "left out" thing, this ninth house 'feeling like an outsider' energy would be MEGA triggering for him. Musk's natal Chiron/Eris is tightly conjunct asteroid Icarus - the "flew too close to the Sun" son, which we know is what Musk has been doing. The fall was going to hurt. 

Trump as President IS the Sun and Trump also has a natal Apollo (the Sun God) exact on his ascendent (also asteroid Daedalus, Icarus's father, whose own mega-ego led to his son's fall) and activated by that transiting Mars. 

We talked about the Icarus/Daedalus mythology in a Bernie Maddox post HERE. Bernie had a similar chart to Trump's and so does Musk's father who was born just three weeks before Trump making Trump's astro/energy very comfortable for Musk. He would feel like family. Until he didn't. 

I said previously there would likely be trouble brewing between these two this summer when Mars reached the end of Leo and activated their opposing Mars natals and Musk's Nodes of Fate. 

Both men are very MARTIAN. Trump was born with Mars tightly conjunct his ascendent in fiery Leo (ego, pride, courage) and Musk has a Mars/North Node in airy Aquarius (eccentricity, future, genius).

Will this end their relationship? Maybe. The Full Moon next week is on Trump's natal Eclipse, so big endings for him as that one plays out. Trump's Mars/Ascendent is conjunct Musk's South Node (Musk's powerful past-life ego always ready to take him down and a likely past-life connection between these two). Their connection is strong. Although their relationship is more transactional for Trump than Musk. Will this whole thing blow up even bigger? Maybe. Trump's chart is particularly volatile (and dangerous to him, maybe especially around his birthday) this summer, but he will always find someone to fight with. 

The Daedalus/Icarus story is strong here and interacting with the Chiron/Eris (plus Venus, Ophelia) as they apply to transiting Icarus, so I thought I would toss up a quick post.

Myths are the ancient language of archetypes (the stories that connect us by re-tracing the shared pathways of our collective unconscious, there are parts of us/our DNA that remembers, and so reacts, to these stories). The physical asteroids themselves are discovered when we are #ready #notready to work with them, and then synchronistically named.

 

The story of Icarus and Daedalus.  The sins of the father visited on the sons.

Much more to the story than the man who flies too high and falls to his death -

 

(although, yes that’s part of it, transiting Icarus was conjunct the United States natal Icarus EXACT on Trump's 2nd impeachment date)

 

it’s also the story of a self-interested genius father, who instead of teaching his son how to be great via an example and teachings of ethics/strength/greatness tells him that he IS great

 

(this is a very common, and damaging thing we do to our children).

 

Also, Daedalus’s unpaid sin (he'd earlier tossed another young man, in some tellings a son whose own genius/inventive/Uranian gifts he was jealous of, from a tower to his death) visited upon his young son Icarus, who flies first too low - wetting his wings in the ocean - and then too high - in an attempt to dry them in the sun - with the ‘fake’ wings his father has made for him, as Icarus and Daedalus attempt to escape the prison his father's narcissism has captured them in, only for Icarus to fall to his death – the father flying on/outliving him for now. 

 

So many stories of men who fall from the sky have their roots in trying to live up to parental expectations. And Musk with his past life royalty/power (testing his ability to act from the heart and not the ego) and his Eris/Chiron/Icarus "feeling left out/foreign" wounding is always ready to crash him back down to Earth.

I focused on Musk here, but I think with his chart he is actually going to be just fine. 

Jupiter is applying to his Sun/to the son. He has other stuff going on. This break will probably help him. Musk, via his rockets, has fallen to Earth before. 

The current astro looks much more dangerous and challenging for Trump (and Vance).
