I am writing this on Tuesday - the Venus/Pluto square is wrapping up and the Mars/Uranus square AND the Jupiter/Saturn square are heating up - both exact this weekend and in play more intently starting tomorrow, maybe tonight. 

BUCKLE UP.

On Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, at 3:44AM EST, the Sagittarius Moon reaches 20 degrees and opposes the Gemini Sun, giving us this year's Full Moon in Sagittarius. 

Full Moons brings things to light, to a conclusion or point of fullness. 

We OPEN OUR MINDS and hearts and emotions (Full Moon in Sagittarius with both Jupiter and Mercury answering to the Moon) to a higher place with a broader FOCUS and at the same time welcome the choices and changing attentions of the Sun in Gemini.

Sagittarius is our mutable fire sign and rules such things as travel, foreign people and situations, adventure, legal situations/justice/courts, higher education, faith, religion, prayer, optimism, problem solving, truth seekers, boldly going where no man has gone before, the quest, the luck that comes from courage/faith and taking a risk - it also rules carelessness, taking shortcuts, generalizing personal truth to everyone leading to the thinking that we are 'right' and need to convince/convert others (think - missionary zeal), making assumptions, exaggeration, overconfidence, impatience, arrogance and seeing the forest and not the trees.

Mutable signs are service signs, and Sagittarius is in service through the exploration of Truth - this could be legal truth or political truth but its most especially spiritual truth - its highest purpose is enlightenment and expanding what is known. 

Let's unpack the chart!

The Moon, at 20 degrees Sagittarius, opposes the Sun in Gemini. The Full Moon squares the Nodes of the Moon at 23 degrees Pisces and Virgo and trines Mars and sextiles Chiron. The Sun is widely conjunct ruler Jupiter (and Mercury) who have just moved into Cancer where Jupiter is exalted. Mercury's trine to a retrograde Vesta and sextile to an exalted Venus is EXACT. Venus opposition to Vesta is exact, too. The Moon trines Pallas - applying. 

The big news about this Full Moon is that it forms a Mutable Grand Cross with the Nodes of Fate. We are dealing with FOUR squares. Squares push/stimulate us to ACTION. In this case - to stretch ourselves. To change and grow. To rise to a challenge. The Nodes of the Moon are points of karma/balancing and speak of Full Moon events having LONGER TERM CONSEQUENCES. They give this Full Moon almost an Eclipse effect.

The Pisces North Node - new way forward - tells us to look beyond old habits. Criticism and critical eyes will not be so helpful. What will be? Faith. Compassion. Connection. This is what we want to be applying to whatever CROSSROADS we find ourselves in. 

With Jupiter (the ruler of the Sag Full Moon and the ancient ruler of Pisces) in Cancer now, situations involving Cancerian themes - self-care, home, family, family business, home business, mother, mothering, real estate, country, nationalism, safety, security - can dominate as well as the Sag themes we talked about and our natal Sag house theme. Keep in mind Jupiter is going to have to get past both Saturn and Neptune (squares to the Aries planets which are exact next week). There will be LIMITS, delays and a need to FACE REALITY. Then we release our grip, let go, let God, apply compassion/connection and keep moving forward. Saturn/Neptune can also speak of the need to reality-test our dreams AND add the magical, mystical, unknown to something that has grown too 'cut and dried'. 

Jupiter/Pisces can sometimes inflate something too much or apply rose-colored glasses and here is where our South Node in Virgo (where we are, what we carry in abundance from where we were) - LOGIC, small steps, doing what's right - that we all carry in our back pocket right now will come in handy. The South Node in this Mutable Grand Cross pulls in DISCERNMENT. The Sag Full Moon encourages us to take a big bite of the apple. BUT we can see the Saturn square/reality check ahead as well as the possibility of delusion/grandeur. We will have to balance optimism and pessimism and find the middle ground. 

We have to be smart. Luckily, we have a nice trine from the Moon to Pallas in Aquarius allowing us to detach a bit from the Full Moon's high emotions and apply intelligence and be STRATEGIC.

The Moon sextiles Chiron making this an opportunistic time to make CHANGES TO OUR HEALTH routine, to adopt more healthful behavior that can have BIG benefits. 

Mercury rules the South Node and the Sun (part of the Mutable Grand Cross) and he/she is making multiple EXACT aspects today that are pulled into the Full Moon's story. Mercury is trining Vesta. She is retrograde in Scorpio and digging at old scabs and whatever we have hidden and buried - financial and intimacy situations, secrets, intense situations that might feel like life and death that may have been keeping us up at night. With a smooth trine to Mercury in Cancer it can be easier to see/talk about this now. Mercury's sextile to Venus in Taurus can bring good news, good communications, helpful information. Balanced and civil words create opportunities. 

The Moon's closest and closing aspect is a trine to Mars in Leo. 

A good closing aspect is usually a good indicator of the way situations over the next two weeks of this Full Moon cycle will TURN OUT. Trines are a smooth energetic and allow whatever is happening to keep happening. We take action and the next action is EASIER. Things fall into place. Leo says - be brave. Follow your heart. Be confident. Do your SUN. Take pride in what you have created.

Bottom line - this Full Moon is a BIG culmination point. The Mutable Grand Cross shows a FATED CROSSROADS with long term consequences. Circumstances can be changeable and sometimes messy. We are challenged to move beyond old habits and problems and criticisms and lean into something more connecting and compassionate. Think BIGGER about what is possible. Have faith. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Don't make assumptions that you have all the answers or that you are "right" (as our vibration raises, we find more than one thing, even opposing things, can be true/right at the same time). What is worth committing to, reaching for, having faith in? Move your life in that direction. 

Both our benefic planets are in great signs for them, but both are challenged by squares RIGHT NOW (not forever). The Venus/Pluto advises us to commit to what we value. Know what is "dead". The Jupiter/Saturn/Neptune speaks of limits and blocks and the need to let go and have faith. The need to reality-test our dreams AND the need to sprinkle in the magical fairy dust as needed. 

Keep in mind we are in a transition period between now and February 2026. We are between the end of the end and the beginning of the beginning. There are things we can't carry with us into the New World, and they will wrap up/go. There are things we will need and as they start to find their way to us it is up to us to RECOGNIZE THEM and gather them this summer and fall like a squirrel storing nuts for the winter. 

The Mars/Uranus and the Jupiter/Saturn squares are exact on Sunday and in play now. The Mars/Uranus is a volatile and disruptive aspect, and the Jupiter/Saturn shows tension and frustration and the need to adjust.
