Way behind this week, sorry, but I thought I would put something up!
The important stuff is that New Moon early in the week that will flavor this lunar cycle, the mid-week's Cancer Moon that could give us a heads-up about the incoming Jupiter/Saturn/Neptune and the end of the week's Mercury/Sun ILLUMINATION which shines a light on some important information. Plus, Venus/Chiron's 'love hurts' which we will look at in its own post next.
MONDAY - New Moon in Gemini - see post HERE
TUESDAY - Mercury trines Pluto - good for focus, finding solutions, Mercurian themes bring empowerment and transformation - we talked about this in the New Moon post, too! Expect to be busy.
WEDNESDAY - the Moon in Gemini catches up with Jupiter in the morning EST, we talked about this in the New Moon post - this is good for confidence and optimism but also overwhelm if we have taken on too much or have too much to do.
The Moon goes void off that conjunction until the early afternoon when the Moon comes home to Cancer. Now, we are nurtured/nourished by traditionally nourishing things - home, family, mom and apple pie.
As the Moon goes into Cancer she is going to square Neptune and Saturn in Aries, so I would expect some ups and downs with this. If we have home or real estate or mothering situations going on - there could be challenges. Rules and responsibilities might feel heavy. We might feel lonely or insecure or be challenged by authority, foggy thinking or indecision. Squares require action and the Moon is waxing, so you will want to be taking action with whatever is showing up.
We could get a heads-up now about the kinds of challenges we will have in early June when Jupiter gets into Cancer and makes these same squares. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and going to bring us all kinds of goodies, but he is going to have to clear these early hurdles - squares to Saturn, Ceres and Neptune FIRST.
Wednesday is also the day Ceres sextiles Pluto while the Moon squares Ceres. Ceres in Aries is about new season of life cycles and bold nurturing/mothering that support INDEPENDENCE. Pluto/Ceres is an opportunity to let go of a cycle that has died/ended and move into something new - this process is transforming. Pluto/Ceres can also represent a complicated son-in-law/mother-in-law energy that is working well here. The snag is that Cancer Moon, already needy and now stressed with these squares and feeling challenged by change, someone's independence or inability to let go. Pluto is retrograde, so there is an old storyline involved, maybe an old power struggle.
THURSDAY - FRIDAY - Mercury catches up with the Sun in Gemini. Now Mercury reaches the heart of the Sun. This is a conversation, information, communication or idea that brings CLARITY. Coming in Gemini, during this New Moon in Gemini cycle this can be a recognition about what is starting or a light on your path forward. As Mercury crosses the Sun - something dawns on us. PAY ATTENTION and use your words intentionally. Be talking/thinking about what you do want, not what you don't.
The Moon makes a lot of aspects on Friday and will move into Leo where she will immediately trine (brakes off) Neptune and Saturn - our brave Leo Moon is more comfortable with Neptune/Saturn in Aries than our more lunar/sensitive Cancer Moon was earlier in the week, so something with that can get resolved now. By Friday evening the Moon will oppose Pluto though for Luna's monthly power struggle especially if someone is feeling unappreciated or unseen. A mixed day emotionally on Friday.
SUNDAY - Venus catches up with Chiron in Aries - this will have its own post.
