Things can lighten and brighten - as well as speed up - this week, as Gemini season begins. This is also the week Saturn moves into Aries and brings REALITY to a new area of our lives - let's take a look at the week and then I will do a BIG post on Saturn in Aries - which I talked a bit about HERE.
Saturn's May move into Aries, although temporary at this point, moves another chess piece into a new position. Next month is Jupiter and the next month is Uranus. Nothing is standing still this year guys. Saturn will be back in Pisces in the fall for our final chance to 'get a better ending' and by February 2026 - all the pieces will be in their new positions. Some for the next couple years and some for more than a decade.
MONDAY - no major aspects are perfecting, but the Moon in Aquarius looks stressed with an opposition to Mars and square to Mercury - slow down, this energy can feel testy/argumentative and make communications and actions challenging. Maybe we want attention/appreciation or someone else does and with the Moon in Aqua someone/something else just isn't giving it. The Moon is, though, making a nice aspect (separating sextile) with Venus in Aries, strongest in the AM EST, which favors independent activities or like-minded group actions.
TUESDAY - Sun into Gemini - Gemini season is when the PACE QUICKENS. There are more choices, ideas, words, communications, information, questions. More local travel/errands. After the fixed earth of Taurus, Gemini gives us all some welcome wiggle-room and variety. A little of this and a little of that. Add some humor. Time to lighten up.
WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY - the Moon in Pisces is making multiple good aspects. Great energy for creative work, relaxation, spirituality, music. It's rare to have a full two days of smooth lunar aspects, and add to that the Venus/Mars trine - enjoy it. With Jupiter squaring from Gemini, we know there is a Moon square Jupiter happening at some point which could bring some overwhelm if we have taken on too much. Know this going in. On Thursday, the Moon will move into fiery Aries increasing our vitality and motivation to get things done.
THURSDAY - Venus trines Mars - this has been in play for a few days and will unwind for a bit longer. Great for our feminine and masculine energy to work together. There is an EASY FLOW between what we are attracting and the actions we are taking to get what we want. This is an Aries/Leo fire trine which speaks of things falling into place through our passions, actions, confidence and following our heart. If you are looking for a new relationship, you will want to be out and about and be yourself. Old relationships benefit, too, of course.
FRIDAY - the Moon in Aries is trining Mars and catching up with Venus. Good for focus, courage, getting things done. Mercury trines the South Node and sextiles North Node - this is either the smooth release of outdated fixes, habits, criticisms OR the 'tried-and-true' working smoothly for us. Fated news, fated information, fated communications.
SATURDAY - SATURN ENTERS ARIES, Sun trines Pluto (retro), Mercury conjuncts Uranus
There is alot going on here.
The Moon will start in Aries and sextiling Jupiter - we are going to be stretching ourselves. This energy is more optimistic and confident. Then the Moon settles down in Taurus. Sun/Pluto is power, confidence, what is hidden coming to light - secrets as well as super-powers. Mercury/Uranus is unexpected information, an unexpected conversation, changes of plans, new news, etc.
Saturn's move into Aries - a summer sneak-peek - we will unpack in its own post next. Saturn in Aries is going to be tricky for the next couple years because the planet of old/time goes into the sign of the young/no time. New responsibilities (that we will probably not be ready for) will build new strengths and muscles and stability over the next three years. Saturn was last in Aries from April 1996 to October 1998, so maybe think about what you had going on back then. My mother had just died and my whole life changed.
BIG POST NEXT. The 'start-chart' for Saturn into Aries is complicated, but also gives us alot to work with!
The Moon in practical and money/resources-oriented Taurus will start squaring Pluto (power struggles) and then go on to square Mars for more tension/frustration on SUNDAY, so the weekend just looks like ALOT.
The good news - SUNDAY is also the day Mercury moves home to Gemini and sextiles Saturn (and applies to sextile Pluto) - so happy to have Mercury finally get home to Gemini! YAY!
And he/she immediately sextiles Saturn - opportunities through being responsible, facing reality, dealing with authority, etc and then Pluto - opportunities to step into our power, re-alive tired situations - PLUS the Sun is anwering to Mercury and all this makes the New Moon in Gemini next Monday look pretty damn good! Finally!!
