the astrology of Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 - the sober bird gets the worm, bold words and news that pulls us forward, pay attention

The Moon is in Capricorn today. We are nourished/nurtured through security, work, goals, taking ourselves and other people SERIOUSLY. She sextiles Saturn, Cappy's ruler at 10:16AM EST - there are opportunities here for those who are doing the work - and sextiles the Sun in Scorpio (14 degrees) at 2:11PM EST. 

The sextile is this month's WAXING SEXTILE - whatever has been seeded at last week's Scorpio New Moon GROWS through the Capricorn energies - stepping into our responsibilities, attending to our obligations, patience, working on long term goals. Sweat equity. Stabilizing something. 

The Sun in Scorpio is intense/focused. The Moon in Capricorn is cold/realistic - nurtures by doing what needs to be done. Putting beans in the cupboard and dollars in the bank. Sextiles are opportunities that require some movement to take advantage of them. If you started something during the New Moon cycle here is where you want to be taking action with it. Sober action. 

Think - what would a serious Cappy do? What would grandma/grandpa do :)

At the same time, Mercury reaches 5 degrees Sagittarius and trines - smooth flow/the brakes are off - the North Node of Fate in Aries. 

Conversations turn to the future. BOLD WORDS catch our attention and pull us forward toward something more independent and self-sustaining. 

Fire trines are enthusiastic and motivating, but sometimes subtle and easy to miss. Notice what is being said and what you are saying. Notice the words that get stuck in your head. Life is sending you a message. Find the blinking green light. PAY ATTENTION.
