This is a big week as two inner planets change signs - one after a long stay, and one in preparation for a long stay and Pluto backs up into Capricorn.
I am sick today, so I am just going to start this and then pop back in, and finish up when I am feeling better.
MONDAY - Venus enters Leo and opposes Pluto
THURSDAY - Venus squares the Nodes
FRIDAY - Mercury sextiles Neptune
SATURDAY - Sun sextiles Chiron, Third Quarter Moon (19 Pisces)
SUNDAY - Pluto retrograde enters Capricorn, Mercury trines Pluto and enters Gemini, Venus squares Jupiter
Venus is very active this week and changing signs, so there is alot happening with our relationships, finances, values, self-esteem.
She enters Leo, where due to her upcoming retrograde she will be for almost 4 months instead of 4 weeks. We talked about this HERE. Our Leo natal house, hosting the lovely Venus, becomes more attractive. Leo Suns and rising signs are more naturally attractive (ie easy on the eye and able to attract). We attract what we want and need (Venus) through Leo - so by standing out, leading, taking the center-stage, taking the world by storm - you get the idea. Our confidence, our passion, our courage will be attractive.
We could, of course, go overboard with all of this. Leo (ruled by the Sun) doesn't really like others blocking their light. Competition can get ugly. We could become downright diva-like. Being in love with being in love fits here, too.
As soon as she gets into Leo, she moves right into an opposition with Pluto in Aquarius. She then squares the Nodes and finally Jupiter.
The opposition to Pluto brings out our control issues - especially within close relationships and with our money and resources - so go easy trying to control people/situations.
This is relationship dynamite. Power struggles. Our needs vs their power. It can be uncomfortable/intense. Manipulation, Jealousy, Secrets. Maybe we want something TOO much. Plutonian power is a double edged sword and can bring curses as we get fixated on having something and then maybe we get it, maybe we don't, but either way there is always a high price to pay for the OBSESSION. If we are not walking our talk with our values or if we are clinging to something we aren't lining up with anymore/that is dead - well, Pluto can pull the rug out from under us as transits interact with our chart. The best use of this energy collectively is stepping into our own power, EXPRESSING OUR POWER DIFFERENTLY.
The opposition to Pluto can bring an ending. In Leo, this could be DRAMATIC.
Venus rules the North Node (Taurus - that more stable/simple/abundant future) - where we are going - and Pluto rules the South Node (Scorpio - power struggles, obsessions, fear, death, where we have been/what we have over-done). Venus met Pluto on the first day of this year, so something from that time could be finishing up. Note, Plutonian endings are permanent.
Venus follows up the opposition with a Square to the Nodes and then Jupiter.
So we are making decisions/choices. Hopefully leaning into a more stable/practical direction. The expression, "you get more flies with honey than vinegar" can apply as we move from our Scorpio obsession/need to control to something where we are appreciating/who/what we already have. Venus's square to Jupiter will make whatever is happening BIGGER. This could make us lucky, confident, generous. Just watch your wallet.
Pluto backs into Capricorn, for an, almost, final demolition here. Happening in trine to Mercury, on his/her way out of Taurus after a long haul, tells us that information now is VALUABLE. Pay attention. We are going back over our natal Cappy house theme and the collective themes of career, ambition, status, reputation, our voice in the world. Notice in the collective how the conversation will shift from "fear of AI" (not unfounded) back to "fear of systems, government, structures, rules" (also not unfounded, but keep in mind Pluto makes everything INTENSE). This is a chance to put old careers/ways of doing business, ways of leading to bed before Pluto makes his permanent move into Aquarius next year.
At the end of the week, after trining that retrograde Pluto, Mercury, after many weeks in stable, but sticky and stubborn Taurus, comes home to Gemini. As Mercury (communication, ideas, local life and travel, transportation, sibling issues) moves into his/her home sign of Gemini, we will feel a difference in the days ahead as information and communications switch from turtle pace to rabbit. Increased choices, conversations and ideas will start to flow. We can CHANGE OUR MIND. SO CAN EVERYONE ELSE. We won't put everything to use, Gemini can be rather versatile/fickle, so some stuff will just move in and out, but the change in momentum will be noticeable. Keep in mind with Gemini there are more questions than answers and the information might be sometimes too quick and sometimes unreliable.
Easy, adaptable conversations, suitable for the moment, can pull everything forward now.
