This might be the last relatively quiet week before July begins speaking in CAPITAL LETTERS.
We are asked to trust what feels right even when we cannot yet see the whole/big picture. Something is falling into place here. Purpose arrives first, but certainty lags behind and then we have to take action anyway. Remember we talked about this with Saturn in Aries for the next couple years - we have to move before all our ducks are lined up.
By week's end, Mars enters Gemini and lines up for his 4th of July fresh start with Uranus (Mars in Gemini will have a fast, and maybe itchy, trigger finger and could go off early). Mars will also start answering to Mercury who will TURN AROUND next Monday in late Cancer. Expect some delays and revisions.
MONDAY - Sun trine North Node
THURSDAY - Venus trine Saturn, Sun square Neptune
FRIDAY - Sun quincunx Pluto
SUNDAY - Mars sextile Jupiter, Mars enters Gemini - on his way to Uranus
The Moon in Libra is facing all kind of challenges early in the week, so I would expect some stress within our relationships and with finding balance in whatever has moved out of whack. She gets into Scorpio mid-week which brings a mixed bag, but things end well and by the end of the week the Moon is in Sag and making all good aspects after she gets past some kind of disruption on Friday.
Let's unpack the week!
MONDAY - the Sun trine (brakes-off) the North Node gives us the feeling that events are naturally finding their proper channel. Cancer is about home, security. family, THE PAST and his sextile to the South Node at the same time tells us that it is probably old work/fixes that have brought us to this point and now it is time to release the need to make something perfect and move with the way things are going. SOMETHING IS FALLING INTO PLACE. Move forward.
Decisions made now tend to age well because they are aligned with the larger trajectory rather than immediate emotion.
THURSDAY - Venus trine Saturn is one of the steadiest aspects we get and can provide a realistic focus. Venus/Saturn rewards maturity, commitment, responsibility and long-term thinking. Relationships can become more solid. Mentors can show up. Financial decisions can become more REALISTIC. While much of the sky is preparing for enormous change, Venus and Saturn remind us that not everything needs reinventing.
Some things simply need tending.
A fly in the ointment is that this is also the day the Sun squares Neptune. Something distracting/something we have been avoiding/ an escape mechanism or maybe something connected to home/family must be dealt with. Squares require action. Situations can conspire for our ego to lose some certainty. Leaders may appear less convincing. Plans can start to dissolve/unravel. Information becomes harder to verify. Neptune doesn't necessarily deceive us, sometimes he just removes the illusion that certainty was ever available in the first place.
With Neptune newly in Aries now, this square may feel different than previous Sun/Neptune squares. Instead of passive confusion, we may see confusion mixed with urgency. People may rush toward visions before they're fully formed. Don't overspend. Don't go off half-cocked and don't avoid either. Lean into the Venus/Saturn - big girl/boy pants on. Stay dignified.
Sun/Neptune can bring exhaustion/illness if we are run down, so take your vitamins and get enough rest.
FRIDAY - Sun quincunx/inconjunct Pluto continues that theme. ADJUSTMENT. Pluto in Aquarius continues exposing where power has already shifted. The Sun in Cancer is trying to protect what feels safe and familiar. Neither is wrong, but they just aren't speaking the same language. Individually, we may realize that something we've been trying to control requires a different approach.
Nationally and globally, institutions may continue making quiet but consequential adjustments behind the scenes. We won't know everything that is going on.
SUNDAY - Mars sextile Jupiter increases confidence, energy and our willingness to act. The sextile says, "Go ahead. Take the first/next step." Action is supported/expansive/lucky. Doors can open with little resistance. Keep in mind the opportunity with a sextile comes through our INITIATIVE. We have to take some kind of action.
The bigger story today is probably Mars entering Gemini. Mars becomes the first personal planet to begin activating everything gathering in early mutable air this summer and he's walking toward his consequential meeting with Uranus on July 4th.
Mars has an itchy trigger finger (especially in Gemini) and often triggers early, so once he gets into Gemini, we could consider the Mars/Uranus conjunction GAME ON. This is EXPLOSIVE ENERGY. Surprising announcements, transportation or communication stories, technological breakthroughs or disruptions, market volatility, rapid military or political developments, weather events maybe especially involving wind or lightning, people making sudden decisions, local community/sibling/cousin situations, things turning on a dime. Stay flexible.
Gemini rules networks, information, media, transportation, neighbors and the nervous system. Mars hasn't been in Gemini for two years and now he energizes all of it. And because Uranus is in Gemini for the first time since the 1940s, this isn't our normal "busy Gemini energy." It's the opening chapter of an entirely new era. I am getting back to the Phaethon series this week - Mars is the charioteer's nerve, Uranus the lightning strike - something could kick off.
We have to keep in mind that Mars is answering to Mercury who is about to turn around and Mercury is already walking degrees he will walk again which means there is no straight line available right now. There can be delays, revisions and repeating conversations as we get to the end of the month and with Mercury in Cancer people will be acting from their emotions and from the past.
Luna's position is going to be key and we'll start tracking her next week.

NOTE - Trump/Iran have reached a fragile agreement, so the question becomes - is it sticky and will Israel throw a monkey wrench. The day the U.S./Israel bombed Iran we had a Sun/North Node conjunction while Mars squared Uranus. THIS WEEK we have a Sun trine North Node and Mars/Uranus conjunction approaching. Uranus was in fixed earth when this started and now Uranus is in mutable air. Mars was in fixed air when this started and now he is in mutable air. FLEXIBILITY. The art of the deal. It's all here. Mercury turning around might shows delays and surely shows some revisions. The outer planets are all lined up. The North Node is in Pisces - pray for peace.
