OK, where to begin here!

Mercury stops. Remember.
The Full Moon illuminates. Access.
Jupiter changes signs. Imagine, have courage.
Then Mars detonates. Act.

Um, yes. It's a BIG week. Let's unpack it!

MONDAY - Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer and asks us to revisit what makes us feel safe/what home means. Cancer remembers. It feels its way backward through memory, ancestry, history and emotion. Conversations become circular and more emotional because they are trying to recover something unfinished rather than communicate something new. People and conversations and ideas from the past can come back around. The U.S. gets a retrograde Mercury for its 250th birthday! Old family/home/real estate situations are back on our plate. With Mars in Gemini and Mercury retrograde plan on doing everything TWICE. Reread that text before hitting send. Drive more carefully. Slow your roll.

The Full Moon in Capricorn happening the same day, that I admit I haven't unpacked yet and will HAVE ITS OWN POST NEXT - immediately asks the opposite question.

Look honestly at what you've built out in the world, because you're about to discover whether it's strong enough for what comes next.

If Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, were still in Pisces, I might read the Full Moon as taking stock, wrapping things up, tying up loose ends. But Saturn in Aries isn't interested in preserving the past that Mercury is so emotionally wrapped up in. He's asking, "Can this structure support a beginning?" So the Capricorn Moon becomes almost like an audit. What have you accomplished? What responsibilities have you taken on? What systems have you built? What authority have you earned? It's less about admiring the building than inspecting its foundation before the inspector arrives.

Because Jupiter changes signs literally the next day, and Mars/Uranus detonates the weekend.

TUESDAY - Jupiter enters Leo - we talked about this HERE

WEDNESDAY - THIRSDAY - Jupiter in Leo squares Chiron and inconjuncts the North Node

Jupiter in Leo wants confidence. Chiron is about our wound/vulnerability and remembers why confidence disappeared in the first place. So, maybe the square says - I'd love to believe in myself ... except this happened once or I'd love to grow ... except I've been hurt there before.

In Taurus now, Chiron is exposing wounds around worth, security, resources, the body, food, land, money and sustainability. Jupiter in Leo immediately says - CREATE ANYWAY. SHINE ANYWAY. LEAD ANYWAY. The friction comes because growth often asks us to stand exactly where we've previously been embarrassed, rejected or disappointed! Jupiter believes abundance is possible and Chiron reminds us that previous systems broke for a reason.

Health situations that are getting in the way of our 'shining' can bring tension/frustration. So can financial/resources issues.

But keep in mind that squares are productive. They force movement. Sometimes the wound itself becomes the doorway into a larger life.

Then Jupiter makes his inconjunct/an adjustment aspect to the North Node. This can be all part of the same thing as the Chiron square.

The North Node in Pisces isn't asking us to become bigger. It's asking us to become more surrendered. The adjustment may come through realizing that enthusiasm alone isn't enough. Purpose has to stay connected to compassion. Leadership has to remain connected to humility. Confidence has to remember empathy. The inconjunct suggests fine-tuning rather than failure. The North Node in Pisces has been reminding us for the last year and a half of those 'bigger hands that have the wheel'. Sometimes we must, let go and let God.

This adjustment to Pisces can also show the need to escape/rest. Get into or near water. Meditate. Pray. Watch a movie to clear our head. And, of course, if we have been overdoing the 'lazys' the need to courageously face what we have been avoiding can happen, too. Both sides of the square are in play ...

If Chiron is speaking of a challenging health situation the North Node (best way forward) adjustment might be speaking of a gentler way forward. Mercury is retrograde - what worked before?

FRIDAY to SATURDAY - THEN COMES MARS - just in time for the United States big birthday - this is where the week's energy changes dramatically and this, too, will have its own post.

THE UNEXPECTED. Sudden decisions. Breakthroughs. Breakdowns. Break-ups. Liberation. Sometimes the first move after a long stalemate.

If Jupiter wants to start a braver/bigger future, well here is Mars TO KICK THE DOOR OPEN. The best thing about this particular conjunction - which is a NEW BEGINNING - is that Mars/Uranus isn't acting alone. Almost immediately Mars sextiles Neptune and then trines Pluto. The raw electricity immediately finds channels through which it can flow.

The outer planets are no longer operating independently. They're beginning to function almost like an orchestra. Neptune in Aries provides the dream of a new beginning. Pluto in Aquarius restructures collective power. Uranus in Gemini rewires communication, transportation, technology and nervous systems. Jupiter entering Leo expands our heart. It asks - who has the courage to do this? Not simply to observe history anymore, but to help create it. Mars then becomes the trigger that activates much of what plays out all summer.

And there is a mythic thread running beneath the whole week. The story of Phaethon that has been forgotten - the seeking proof that we are enough/the playing God/the divine intervention. Mercury retrograde in Cancer remembering the past/the home. The Capricorn Full Moon honoring what has endured/the work/the sacrifice. Jupiter in Leo imagining the future. Mars/Uranus breaking the gate separating everything wide open.

Whew. I will need more coffee. Like a boatload more.

xo all and back with that Full Moon post which will illuminate more. Next Monday, the Sun squares Saturn, so whatever happens at the end of this week there is a reality check coming quickly ...
