I am a bit behind from a family party yesterday, so let's pop up a MONDAY to get the week started and I will be back tonight to finish up the week.
MONDAY - the LAST DAY OF SUMMER - Mercury in Libra opposes Pallas (in Aries) and sextiles Jupiter in Leo as Jupiter trines Pallas
Pallas in Aries wants to WIN. Or better stated she wants to find the strategy that will produce the desired outcome. She is focused/fiery/fast. In Aries, her strategy is very direct - act first, don't hesitate, don't wait for permission.
Mercury in Libra is working from a very different premise - find the words that keep the relationship intact. Mercury in Libra wants to negotiate, accommodate and find the words that keep everyone at the table.
Across from him/her, Pallas in Aries is much less interested in keeping everyone comfortable. She sees the objective and wants a strategy for getting THERE. For Pallas there can be a temptation to think that one has to win and the other has to give way. Now this can be happening between us and another person, a situation or all within ourselves. It's symbolic, but often times quite literal.
Jupiter offers another possibility.
Jupiter in Leo asks us to remember the larger purpose. What are we actually trying to accomplish here? What matters enough that we are willing to stretch beyond our usual way of handling things? And because Jupiter is in Leo/the sign of royalty, the sign of the KING, the answer may require courage, generosity and heart.
We may have to be willing to take a risk, say the thing we would normally soften or act with more confidence than we feel.
Aries says begin. Leo says believe in what you are beginning. Pallas can supply the strategy. Jupiter can supply the vision and confidence to carry it forward. This trine is great news/something is falling into place. And actually, this whole thing can bring us - actual good news or at least very useful information.
Meanwhile, Mercury gets the sextile - the opportunity - but Mercury may have to work harder for it. The diplomatic conversation isn't necessarily the easiest route, but it may be the route that OPENS THE DOOR.
Bottom line today - have faith in the larger purpose. Stretch beyond your usual response. The direct approach may get things moving, but the right words may be what gets that door to open. And keep in mind that Jupiter isn't asking Mercury to become Pallas or Pallas to become Mercury. The sextile and trine suggest that each can do what it does best. Pallas can identify the move. Mercury can find the language. Jupiter reminds the both of them (ie us) - why the move matters. We want to let our LARGER PURPOSE organize our strategy and language/ideas. The Moon will be void for most of the day (off a productive trine from Cappy at about 10AM EDT), so expect time to be stretchy and a bit wonky/things don't quite happen on schedule or we get a lot done depending on our chart and relationship to this 'time out of time'. She will sextile Neptune and catch up with Pluto tonight from Aquarius. The Aquarius Moon can give us a little distance from whatever has been occupying us, while Pluto asks us not to mistake distance for avoidance. We may see something more clearly once we're no longer quite so emotionally inside it. The Moon is waxing/growing and something in our life is, too.
