Today's Astrology Forecast | Saturday, November 7, 2020 - taking care of ourselves, angry outbursts, delays, cleaning things up, having some fun

The Moon, in Leo now, floats through most of the day unaspected, finally coming to square a retrograde Uranus at 5:49PM EDT - so there could be something #unexpected, #not unexpected tonight. The Moon in Leo turns our focus to children, romance, fun/recreation, our creative projects and natural spotlight. She also turns our focus to the "king".

There are a bunch of persnickety (is this a word, I don't know why I am wanting to write it) aspects today including the Sun (at 15 Scorpio) inconjunct Mars (retrograde in Aries). We might find ourselves abruptly angry or angry over old situations (or delays). Take your time. Don't push. Avoid actions motivated by fear/anger. Try to avoid unnecessary altercations. Scorpio/Aries is passionate, but dangerous.

(Mars is slowed WAY down/stopped, expect delays and irritation because Mars in Aries isn't one for sitting still!)

One smooth aspect I see today is Venus sextile Hygiea (Hygiea by the way is no minor celestial body - she is the 4th largest asteroid in our Solar System), making this a good day to take care of ourselves. Clean up/air out our physical space. Do something healthy. Hygiea is in Leo, too, now (like our Moon) - so taking care of ourselves includes having fun. Try that.

Going to look ahead to the rest of the month tonight - Jupiter meets Pluto again, for the third and final time, something HUGE is wanting to happen next week. Buckle up.

Today's Astrology Forecast | Friday, November 6, 2020 - feeling the pinch

The Moon in Cancer trined Neptune at 4:13AM EST and then moves through her oppositions to Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn between 11:00AM and 7:51PM EST, finally going void off a square to Mercury at 8:27PM EST. So, our Cancer/Pisces houses are the way through the day (their themes or the collective themes of home, family, creativity, art, music, being in or near water, healing, spirituality, meditation, prayer).

Those pressurized/limiting Cappy oppositions won't be easy, especially with the Moon in Cancer, uber sensitive/needing to feel safe. Squares to Mercury can bring arguments, challenging news. It is hard to communicate/stay in balance, then she goes void so we can chill out or stew about it.

Our choice.

The icing on the cake - Mercury (in Libra) squares Saturn for the third time. A hard conversation must be had/challenging news must be faced. We want to just kind of slip around something/sweet talk our way out of it/pour pink paint and call some pile of crap a barbie dream house. Saturn says, "no way buddy". More pressure. Limits. The need to make a plan. Frustration around relationships or commitments. This is the final square, so we know this is ABOUT TO BE IN THE PAST. We need to make a choice, yes, with Mercury in Libra! Ugh! A delay will end ONCE WE DO. Once we make the freakin' plan we will FEEL BETTER.

Maybe this is someone's opportunity to STEP UP/take responsibility/do the big-girl, grown-up thing.

With so many planets in their home signs - mostly cardinal, so hard squares and oppositions. Jupiter in his detriment in Capricorn (since last November and thankfully for only SIX more weeks). Expansion stopped, faith tested, travel restricted, wide-scale rules, feeling responsible for everyone, overblown depression, less is more, but it's still freakin' less, the seriousness of the matter being exaggerated, coming down to earth and being forced to be realistic about our options. Have I missed anything? Yes. This is Jupiter. I've missed alot. And Jupiter is ruling our South Node, which is what needs to be  released, yes, but also where we are RIGHT NOW.

Neptune is almost the only #comfortable, #toocomfortable energy and that's why we don't know what the hell is real. That's why it's easy to slip into escape or fantastical thinking. Also because this energy is physically exhausting, we probably need to give Neptune something to do - think art, music, time spent in or near water, meditation, prayer, extra sleep/extra hydration, etc - on the other hand when we give Neptune too much to do, he can literally dissolve us/we can become a ghost in our own life. We can become unmoored. One simple thing - DON'T spend one more moment scrolling. Choose a movie over a youtube video. Choose a book over a movie.

Don't cut any corners now. These Cappy oppositions and that Mercury square will bite us in the ass ... fast. Hang in there. Do your work. I know it's Friday, but don't cut out early.

(with the U.S. Election so close, imagine if instead of a patriarchal winner-take-all, we moved RIGHT NOW (Mercury in Libra squaring Saturn in Cappy) into a partnership government with co-Presidents working TOGETHER. Which is not as crazy as it sounds because our original system allowed the winner to become President and the "loser" Vice President. That would be world changing. We could save ourselves so much heartache and pain over the next couple years as we face our nation's Pluto return! How can we apply this lesson in our own life? How are we enabling this patriarchal/hierarchical "winner-take-all" dying dead world to keep us stuck?)

Today's Astrology Forecast | Thursday, November 5, 2020 - sensitivity, intimacy, coming home to our deepest feelings, relationship give and take

The Moon has come home to Cancer. We could be feeling more sensitive/moody if things don't go our way. More comfortable/cozy when they do. Either way our focus turns to home, family, renovation, home business, family business, real estate, mothering, patriotism.

She sextiles a retrograde Uranus at 9:18AM EST (opportunity for change), squares Venus (in Libra) at 1:22PM EST (tension/frustration within relationships, with cooperation/fairness), trines the Sun at 8:06PM EST and finally squares a retrograde/antsy Mars at 11:08PM EST (feeling defensive, discontented avoid taking things too personally).

The Moon's trine to the Scorpio Sun is this month's Waning Trine - Cancer/Scorpio.

We can share deep/intense feelings or we can personally dive into them all by ourselves. The comfort comes through intense experiences. This is good energy for emotional discussions/sharing what we are really feeling. Trines create smooth flow - the brakes are off - if you need to cry, it's time to cry. Whatever you feel, allow yourself to really feel it.  Pent up emotions can be released, especially pertaining to whatever the Taurus Full Moon has brought to light or culminated.

At the same time Mars (retrograding through Aries) inconjuncts Juno at 15 degrees Scorpio. This is a relationship/partnership even a male/female 'rock and a hard place'. Maybe one partner's inability to move forward or their old anger/impatience is coming up against (with Juno in Scorpio) intimacy/financial situations/bottom lines - that seem to need to be addressed. Juno in Scorpio can make things feel more 'life and death' than they really are, keep this in mind. Mars retrograde isn't a time to force/push/hurry - he will be in forward motion soon enough (just a few more days) and we will go over all of this again from a more powerful position. In the meantime inconjuncts require adjustments on both sides and some learning to live with 'what is' for the time being. There probably isn't a win/win here. If properly managed, inconjuncts are more like - nobody really wins, but nobody has to really lose either.

Today's waning trine - Cancer/Scorpio can help (sharing intimate feelings).

Tomorrow the Moon will oppose that Cappy line-up, so really starting late tonight (with that Mars square) the energies get more challenging. Breathe.

Today's Astrology Forecast | Tuesday, November 3, 2020 - Mercury stations direct!

The Moon in Gemini (the sign of duality, so information might swing back and forth) inconjuncts the Scorpio Sun then squares a retrograde Neptune at 5:42PM EDT (confusion, be sure to double check paperwork, don't believe everything you hear tonight). With the Moon answering to a stationing Mercury and connecting to Neptune, prayers for a peaceful outcome, divine guidance and fairness will be very powerful.

The waning inconjunct Gemini/Scorpio speaks of the need to address emotional/intense topics - things we don't really want to talk/think about. This will likely connect back to whatever results/endings are coming from last weekend's Full Moon in Taurus.

The BIG news, Mercury stations direct (12:50PM EDT) at 25 degrees Libra (squaring Trump's natal Venus, conjunct Harris's Sun and in Biden's 10th house - last minute campaign efforts to get the vote out can turn things around). Information comes in. People get back to us. Decisions are made. Stories that have been held up since mid-October can begin to move forward (keep in mind it takes Mercury a few days to get back up to speed!).

Relationship imbalances have been weighed out and adjustments have been/will be made. Mercury won't be covering totally new ground for a couple weeks, but headway can be made now and over the next few days.

Take care during Mercury's direct station - remember the moving finger through a candle analogy and what would happen if your finger stops over the flame - that's kind of where we are now, although with Mercury answering to a strong Venus in her home sign, hopefully Mercury's usual cray-cray situations won't be too bad. The Moon will move over Trump's natal Sun, this election being all about him and the news focus will go there. If this upsets you, just turn it off. If you've done your part and voted, you've done what you can and your eyes glued to the telly won't help anyone.

Your prayers might though.

The Moon will be void for most of the day tomorrow making it a good day to chill out.
