On Monday, October 6th, 2025, at 11:47PM EDT, the Aries Moon will oppose the Libra Sun giving us this month's Full Moon - our annual Full Moon in Aries.
At the Full Moon situations peak, culminate or come to light. Results are delivered. Stuff finishes up.
Let's unpack the chart!
The Moon/Sun are in a standoff - 14 Aries vs 14 Libra. The Moon squares Jupiter, but it's wide/applying. The expansion/maybe the "luck" comes later. The Full Moon in Aries is answering to Mars, home in Scorpio. Mars squares Pluto - again wide and this time separating - so the ending/the death has in some way already happened. That's it really.
Of course, when it comes to Aries there is no such thing as 'that's it really' :).
Aries is raw instinct. That first kick off the starting line. Aries/Libra is self vs other. Authenticity vs accommodation. The opposition might evoke situations that ask us - are we diluting ourselves because of a need for harmony? Or conversely are we so focused on ourselves or so self-sufficient that we have diluted the energy of 'partner'/have we forgotten our desire for the other?
Aries says, "this is me." Libra says, "WE can make this work".
We are in the middle degrees of Aries now, so this Full Moon is about not losing ourselves for peace but not burning bridges for truth either. It’s a recalibration of how we share energy, care, and power.
The U.S. Govt is shut down. The wars in Ukraine and Palestine are unsettled. Our lives are up in the air (and we see Neptune aching to turn around and go back to sleep and parts of us do, too!).
The only way out is through.
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer but applying to that square to Chiron. So, something that could feel good doesn't. Chiron sits with Eris (!).
Jupiter in Cancer is about expansion through care, belonging, nourishment and protection/security.
Chiron conjunct Eris is a BIG THROBBING WOUND OF EXCLUSION. In Aries, this is a raw, self-oriented pain - the wound of “not being allowed to exist as I am.” And the Full Moon in Aries pulls the spotlight to the "I am".
"SEE ME NOW?", it screams.
And then Jupiter's exalted goodness can almost overdo the care, "if I just love you enough, maybe you'll calm down". But Chiron/Eris says, "NO, the point isn't calm.". They look to Mars in Scorpio - "the point is truth".
There is a risk of overcompensating for ours and others' pain without letting them and us feel it - probably especially familial pain/ancestral pain/what we don't talk about (there is certainly this part of all of us that yearns for Neptune to return to Pisces in a couple weeks - and this return is only temporary!! - so that we can go back to sleep and not face this crap). There is a risk of protecting what needs to be exposed. There can be some kind of sentimental avoidance here, too. BUT there is also the potential for MASSIVE healing because Jupiter/the king of the Gods DOES have the strength to hold difficult emotions without drowning in them. Jupiter in Cancer can hold the emotional weight so that the truth (Eris) and the wound (Chiron) can be expressed without the whole thing collapsing.
And, of course, in "me vs we" Aries/Libra this is about our relationships - so challenged with everyone resonating on different timelines right now. Mars in Scorpio can work with Jupiter in Cancer in a kind of emotional alchemy - excavating the wound (Mars in Libra was the diplomat and now Mars in Scorpio is the killer, yes, but also the surgeon) - with the intent to rebuild intimacy and trust.
Venus on the South Node in Virgo is showing us how we are over-functioning within relationships (this has been the feminine bullsh*t for so long) - doing the emotional labor/carrying the worry.
CONFUSING SERVICE WITH LOVE.
Trying to earn our keep/our value by being useful/efficient/flawless. This doesn't work anymore.
Venus opposing Saturn in Pisces is asking us where we have been giving more than we should/where do we need to accept imperfection and let go of "forever trying to fix/micro-manage this freakin' thing".
Saturn is sobering, so this Moon is, too. We see limits in relationships, finances, beauty, even our body. But it’s also a moment of spiritual maturity ie love that becomes real because it stops being fantasy.
We can see how Venus is echoing/supporting the Eris/Chiron and whenever we see the same thing in two different energetics we know we have something.
The Moon's final aspect is that square to Jupiter. The Sun makes that square on October 17th, so that can be when we see the fullness of this lunation most clearly.
I thought I had set this to post yesterday, but I guess it wanted to post today. This Moon is in play for the next two weeks. :)
I hope something here is helpful.
xo all
Keep in mind the big picture - WE ARE GOING BACK TO GET A BETTER ENDING (Saturn and Neptune retrograding back into Pisces/the end of the end). To get a better starting point for this new energy that is not see-able with any crystal ball or astrology chart - sorry!
This is a battle between good and evil (evil meaning opposite of live, the word creates the world) forces battling it out for ground zero in late February when Saturn and Neptune finally meet.
Is this spiritual battle actually happening? Yes, I think it is.
What I don't know could fill a book, but I do know that the North Node is in Pisces.
This is our collective North Star. The best way forward is to ALOW more compassion and connection, to allow old certainties to dissolve, to allow emotions (maybe especially grief) to flow (mutable water) and not get stuck which is especially common with multiple planets in Scorpio like we have right now.
Embrace rest and surrender and invisible work. Right now, faith is more important than reason. This isn't about abandoning reason, but it is important to be balancing it with intuition and TRUSTING WHAT FEELS TRUE over what looks true.
INSPIRATION IS LEADERSHIP. So, follow what inspires you. It is the beauty and the empathy that is healing and not the outrage. Ask yourself - what comes after the outrage? Try to get to that space for a second and then a little while longer and then a little while longer still. We don't have to wait for what angers/annoys/scares us to disappear - we can 'hold a space' where our outrage is behind us. This isn't about passivity or pouring pink paint over our problems - it's about REMEMBERING that others are part of ourselves and that bigger hands than ours actually have the wheel.
The most important thing with the North Node in Pisces might be learning that accepting uncertainty is a spiritual practice. We can learn this through loss or illness or war or we can learn to STAY PRESENT and creative when things are most ambiguous instead of rushing in to fix and define (that South Node in Virgo reflex). Choose feeling over fixing now. TAKE A BREATH.
We can find meaning when logic fails. WE MAY THINK THE WORLD HAS LOST THE MAP. And, yes, we have. That's the point. Pisces is the freaking ocean!
The North Node is going to be in detached/scientific Aquarius when Saturn and Neptune meet in Aries in February 2026 and they will be answering to Mars who will be in Aquarius, too, so the North Node in Pisces with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces - where we are RIGHT NOW - is setting the stage for THAT. We can't skip this step. We can't control it either ....
