New Moon this week folks plus the Sun will square Pluto, so let's dive right in!
TUESDAY - NEW MOON IN LIBRA
WEDNESDAY - Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces, Sun enters Scorpio
THURSDAY - Jupiter square Chiron
FRIDAY - Sun square Pluto, Mercury inconjunct Chiron and trines Jupiter
SATURDAY - Mercury trines Saturn
TUESDAY - This will have its own post, but the Moon gets all the way to 28 degrees of Libra before finally meeting the Sun. This is Luna's final aspect in Libra. So, almost all of our New Moon in Libra cycle (the next two weeks) will be spent with the Moon in Scorpio. This speaks of going deep/intimate, truth coming out. It also means that within hours of the New Moon, Luna will be in an intense square to Pluto. The good news with this square from the Moon in Scorpio to Pluto in Aquarius is that Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio and Mars, the ancient ruler, is in Scorpio. So, it's all very SCORPIONIC, but at least we will know/see/feel what we are dealing with.

WEDNESDAY - So, here is where Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces, backs into Pisces for the FINAL time in our lifetimes. He will be in Pisces until January 26th. Then, that's it. That's the final ring of our snooze alarm. WAKE UP.
For now, though, we are going back to sleep, into the mystical/magical/who can tell which end is up (not me) dreamworld of Pisces for one final chance to GET A BETTER ENDING. A dream might be held up for a bit as the Sun in Scorpio looks into the details.
The Sun enters Scorpio. Scorpio is about deep intimacy, and Scorpio is about passion. What are we passionate about? What makes us desirous? What makes us so angry we want revenge or so jealous we see black? What makes our heart thump so hard in our chest that we fear explosion? Anything? Have we made any space in our life for anything so INTENSE?
Scorpian themes may play a bigger role in our lives for the next month - our personal Scorpio house theme, life/death, taxes, banking, other people's resources/money, loans, inheritances, insurance, sex, reproduction, intimacy, secrets, third party situations, the ways we merge/share with other people, power plays/struggles, obsessions, control, jealousy, manipulations, karmic situations, psychology and, of course, Halloween (when we get the chance to blow off some of this Scorpionic intensity with costumes and chocolate).
It is the natural house of our shadows and taboos - all the stuff civil Libra, and polite society, doesn't want to talk about. Scorpio wants to get to the bottom of things and isn't above just burning the whole thing down (its modern ruler is Pluto after all) to do so. The whole 'rising from the ashes' thing is Scorpio's deal, too - what doesn't kill us surely makes us stronger. Aries strength comes from beginner's luck and the newness of the whole thing/muscles of youth. Leo strength comes from courage and bravado. Scorpio strength is like the spaces metal has been welded together or the scars on skin that has been scorched by fire. During Scorpio season we will want to know people's motives/see what makes things tick. Truth will be uncovered, but surely not everything because Scorpio likes to keep her secrets, too :)
THURSDAY - Jupiter reaches 24 degrees Cancer - and the United States natal Mercury - and squares Chiron in Aries. Squares with Chiron are triggering/painful. Jupiter makes this some kind of mixed blessing. Wounds and vulnerabilities can be exaggerated/expanded. Maybe it is over-indulging, over-promising, over-the-top expectations that amplifies some kind of trigger spot. This can also be about something we have been avoiding and so it has gotten BIGGER and now we need to take action to deal with it. We want to have faith that what is happening is for our benefit somehow with Jupiter here. Home and family obligations might feel overwhelming.
FRIDAY - here is where the Sun's square to Pluto is exact. This is part of the New Moon story, so in play all week. This is something like a confrontation with buried/hidden/behind the scenes power dynamics or survival instincts that lead to tension that can either implode through control struggles or empower through conscious release. If we have been white knuckling something (maybe holding onto a role or a narrative) maybe here is where we can release it. A betrayal can come to light. Leaders can have TROUBLE and power struggles. The Sun illuminates what is hidden, forcing change, action or the recalibration of power. With Pluto in Aquarius something hidden connected to groups/tech can come to light, too.
This is also the day Mercury in Scorpio inconjuncts Chiron and trines Jupiter. This is probably all part of the same thing.
The Mercury/Chiron shows the discomfort around talking about it/naming what hurts/the words. Mercury in Scorpio wants to probe/go deep and the contact with Chiron in Aries - which isn't really solvable at this point - triggers old/raw wounds around being ourselves/being about to take care of ourselves/maybe even our right to exist.
The trine to Jupiter in Cancer is the way through it all/our saving grace. This can turn what might have been a harsh exchange or power struggle into something healing or productive if we stay GENEROUS AND OPEN-MINDED. Look for the bigger emotional picture. Jupiter can also amplify/expand Mercury's message/insight helping us communicate in a higher way - one that uplifts and inspires instead of wounding. Instead of reacting from the wound/vulnerability we want to be RESPONDING FROM THE WISDOM WE HAVE EARNED FROM IT. Private conversations and unearthed information can lead to something better. Big girl/boy pants on this week folks.
