I lost track of Juno and some research this week brought her back to my attention and I realized she had FINALLY left Scorpio (after her retrograde) and moved into Sagittarius.
We know any energy moving into Sag is going to quickly oppose Uranus and sextile Pluto (both retrograde) and since this is all happening now I thought I would toss this post up - aspects exact on Sunday and in play now.
Juno shows us what we have committed to FOR BETTER OR WORSE.
Juno, ruler of contracts, marriage, commitments, power dynamics, betrayal, and fairness has been back and forth through Scorpio - FOR MONTHS - looking under the hood, the covers (sometimes literally), looking over the fine print within our relationships and contracts. In Scorpio Juno has asked us - what have we merged with/committed to/what do we get our power from and what we will we do to keep it - and how is THAT GOING? Juno in Scorpio can be honest, intimate, passionate and sometimes brutal.
On October 1st she moved into Sagittarius. Juno in Sag is about partnerships seeking more freedom, honesty, room to breathe, “commitments tested through truth and expansion”. Now we get the opposition to change-maker Uranus and sextile to powerful Pluto.
It looks like whatever we have been back-and-forth over, if it has survived the Scorpian intensity - ends with CHANGE.
This can bring sudden breaks for freedom/endings within partnerships, changes to our connections to power and changes to contracts. Uranus is retrograde, so this isn't something we couldn't have seen coming, but still maybe it hits suddenly/out of the blue.
At the same time she is opposing Uranus, Juno is sextiling Pluto which is about opportunities for real power/real transformation. This tells us whatever the outcome with the Juno/Uranus shake-ups - the results have the potential, through our action because sextiles require some effort - to be empowering, even if they are disruptive.
Remember Juno was Queen of the Gods - she wanted loyalty and respect from husband Jupiter but often faced betrayal. Stepping into Sagittarius which is Jupiter's domain, she is demanding honesty and respect in the very sign where the King is most inclined to roam.
No wonder the skies are shaking with break-ups and truth-telling!
Seeds planted now/changes in our contracts/relationships could see their fuller transformation next summer when Uranus and Pluto are in perfect harmony.
