MONDAY - Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio
TUESDAY - Venus enters Pisces
WEDNESDAY - Sun sextiles Chiron
THURSDAY - Mercury conjunct North Node, Mars inconjunct Jupiter
FRIDAY - SATURN ENTERS ARIES
MONDAY - the Moon in Scorpio squares the Aquarius Sun at 20-degrees giving us this month's Third Quarter Moon - tension/frustration/need to take action between last week's Full Moon and next week's New Moon (which is also an Eclipse).
The Scorpio Moon pulls up the rot, the truth we don't want to feel, the emotional debt, the actual debt - THE THING THAT COSTS ENERGY TO KEEP SUPPRESSING. The Aqua Sun wants to detach/conceptualize/keep something abstract, but there is something DEEPER that needs to be dealt with this week, so we don't keep poisoning ourselves.
TUESDAY - Venus enters Pisces where she is exalted and starts kicking off Pisces season. This is the balm, the compassion, the love, the BLUR. Pisces Suns and Risings become more attractive. Attractive meaning both easier on the eye and more able to attract what they want. All our Pisces houses will be very happy to have Venus come in and Saturn move out :) but we will have a Mercury retrograde here to deal with soon - heads up.
And all of us will attract what we want by working through Pisces - our Pisces natal house theme and through our ability to show compassion, create beauty, honor feelings, stay emotionally open, use our imaginations. In Aquarius it was our differences that attracted people and situations to us, in Pisces it is our ability to believe and honor our commonality. Just keep in mind we still have a lot of planets in Aquarius!
Venus is exalted in Pisces. Her love/charm is endless. She can work her magic here. She expands relationships, money and self-esteem. Opportunities increase. Resistance dissolves.
The tricky part of Venus in Pisces is we need to know what we want now. We need to know our values. Our lines in the sand. Because the lines between us and other people, between acceptance and avoidance, between our money and their money, between love and 'what was I thinking' - will blur.
In Pisces, things that look too good to be true usually almost always are. And what flows in can flow right back out again. But if we set boundaries - what is ok, what is not ok - and release our expectations that outcomes must go a specific way - this is wonderful energy for more beauty, love and money to move into our lives. The irony with Venus in Pisces is that although we can attract more love and money those things often will feel less important now. Venus in Pisces will add some softness and help us through the next few tricky weeks. Keep in mind Uranus in Taurus is answering to Venus, so this is good news for our Taurean shifts, too. Venus will be in Pisces until March 6th.
WEDNESDAY - Now it is the Sun's turn to sextile Chiron. The Aqua Sun offers perspective. Chiron offers the wound and the skills we have developed AROUND it. This sextile is useful. We can name a pain/vulnerability without dramatizing it. We can recognize survival patterns (Chiron is in Aries) that have become our identity. We can realize we don't need to be healed (just honest) to act. This might also be a time when we notice how our competence was born from our injuries. Lots of good comes from stuff that doesn't look/feel good.
THURSDAY - Now Mercury catches up with the North Node of Fate while Mars needs to adjust to Jupiter. Here is the future awkwardly tapping us on the shoulder. Mercury/North Node is about fated conversations. Information that re-orients our trajectory/shifts our timeline. We can say/hear something now - in a good way - that can't be unsaid/unheard and is actually just the right thing. We could think of this aspect as a kind of directional clarity, but ...
THE CAVEAT here and why this is even MORE IMPORTANT is that Mercury is going to go retrograde in Pisces at the end of the month and is going to station direct on March 20th - the Spring Equinox with the Sun at the Aries point (where Saturn and Neptune are meeting now and during Eclipse season) back on the NORTH NODE OF FATE AGAIN (this retrograde will have its own post). So, whatever this is - the conversation, the information, etc - we will be re-vising, re-viewing, re-visiting, etc.
I can't really overstate the importance of whatever we have going on this week with a Mercury theme - information, conversations, siblings, local community, our natal Pisces house theme, tech, transportation, commerce, work, health, daily habits, pets.
Mars quincunx to Jupiter at the same time says we need to adjust something and because it is happening at the SET UP of something bigger let's take a longer look at it. This is Aquarius/Cancer - my Sun and my Moon, so I am very familiar :) Both signs are settled into their own kind of logic but speak totally different survival languages. Mars in Aquarius wants action through principle, detachment, strategy, a future-oriented focus. He wants to do without having to feel. Jupiter in Cancer (and Jupiter is both retrograde and exalted here) needs to feel and wants meaning through protection, belonging, emotional continuity, care.
They don’t oppose or square each other. They just can’t see each other. So, our actions and the reasons we are acting are MISALIGNED.
This is an adjustment aspect. Mars is realizing he can't bypass emotional consequences just because the logic is good/it seems smart and Jupiter is realizing he can't protect the past at the expense of the future. Neither side has to win or lose - they both need to shed the excess. Remember the negative of any sign is the positive taken too far.
This is like we are getting a full-body scan before Saturn gets into Aries and tells us to "act".
This might show up as us wanting to take action that's logically correct but emotionally costly or feels good but isn't logical/smart, wanting to belong AND wanting to break-free, care feeling like constraint and at the same time autonomy feeling like betrayal. It's a tricky dynamic. The future cannot ignore the past, and the past cannot ignore the future, but they cannot actually see each other/communicate with each other.
This stuff is hard work and involves some give and take. Earth in the 2020's is not for sissies folks. This sh*t is brand-new. And also, ancient.
FRIDAY - now Saturn enters Aries and will be exact with Neptune in seven days - how much this total exactness 'to the second' will actually matter is unclear (actually everything with Neptune is unclear), so I would consider this conjunction in play right now. We talked about this last year HERE and again this week HERE and will talk about this again. It's a big deal that will play out over time.
AND the Moon will be in Capricorn today, so answering to Saturn as he changes signs, and then the Moon will go void off an opposition to Jupiter in Cancer, the Moon's sign with Jupiter making that awkward angle to Mars who Saturn is answering to. I can't make this stuff up. How can I read this?! Life is asking - are we safe, is this justified, does this care for what matters? The Moon wants to know what the rules are now and Saturn/the boss has just changed offices and hasn't unpacked yet. This looks like some kind of chain-of-command crisis.
I see this week as another witnessing window - not a time to be making big decisions if we don't have to because we have a lot of changes ahead folks. If we do have to, that's ok and as it should be just expect some revisions, etc. Either way this 'witnessing window' doesn't mean we are just sitting things out - keep moving forward by eliminating what needs to go. We are in the Leo Full Moon cycle (the Moon is now waning) of 'meeting the limits we denied existed', so what do we need to do now that we can see them?
xo all
