With so much going on, let's dive right in and unpack the week!
TUESDAY - FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE IN VIRGO
WEDNESDAY - Venus sextile Uranus
THURSDAY - Sun trine Jupiter retrograde
FRIDAY - Venus enters Aries
SATURDAY - Sun conjunct Mercury retrograde, Venus conjunct Neptune
SUNDAY - Venus conjunct Saturn
TUESDAY - the Lunar Eclipse at 12 degrees Virgo.
A Virgo Lunar Eclipse opposing all this illusive Pisces is like an AUDIT. This is going to show us (although keep in mind with Eclipses something is always hidden) what’s unsustainable in our daily life - health, routines, obligations, mental loops, caretaking roles, perfectionism, work routine, pets. Because it’s an eclipse, it’s not just "notice this" like a regular Full Moon - this is a cosmic reset, if it's impacting your chart, it’s "this can’t continue like this."
We will have one final Eclipse in Virgo next February when the skies reach back toward this one, but for now this might show up as a health or energy wake-up call, a work or service recalibration/change, a shift in how much we carry for others and how we carry it, keep in mind sometimes what looks like a burden is actually a burden and sometimes it is actually "what we have been entrusted with" - Mercury retrograde in compassionate Pisces can help shift our thinking as needed.
Life events can show us a need to SIMPLIFY.
I will try to get a post up by sign, but either way this will have its OWN POST.
WEDNESDAY - Venus sextiles Uranus - this showing up right after the Eclipse is a gift to us/a breath of fresh air. Maybe this is a SURPRISE INVITATION, a relational 'aha' moment, something new to love. Some extra ka-ching. Because this is a sextile - it's an opportunity, not the usual Uranian chaos.
If the Eclipse showed us how we are over or under-functioning maybe here is the energy that makes a NEW WAY available. This can also bring financial/resource opportunities. Be social with this one.
THURSDAY - Sun trines Jupiter (retrograde). Old confidence returns. Maybe an old opportunity/lucky break falls right into our lap. This is optimism. We can do this. We remember who we are/why we matter/what we really believe. A trine from the Sun is supportive and affirming. After the Virgo audit, maybe this is something about regained perspective. Be generous. Be grateful.
FRIDAY - After her days exalted in Pisces, Venus moves into Aries - where she is considered debilitated since it opposes a sign she rules. But Venus can be direct here/go after what she wants. Aries Suns and ascendants (first house Aries) become more attractive - both able to attract what they want and easier on the eye. Everyone's Aries house becomes more attractive, too. It's true Venus (love, women, money, resources, values) ruler of Taurus (comfort) and Libra (relationship) can attract what she wants in a less assertive/aggressive manner in other signs, but there are lessons for all of us about stepping into our personal responsibility here ie going for it. This is about desire without apology, being able to make quicker relational decisions (this doesn't mean they will always be the best decisions and Mercury is retrograde, so keep this in mind) and probably we will have less tolerance for ambivalence.
SATURDAY - the Sun catches up with a retrograde Mercury - we talked about this HERE. This is a moment of clarity about what this retrograde is designed to have us RE-THINK. Re-say. Re-work, Re-do. RE-FEEL.
This is also the day Venus catches up with Neptune. Romantic, spiritual, compassionate, yes, but also idealizing and not quite real. This is good energy for deep tenderness, compassion, artistic or spiritual inspiration, forgiveness and healing but because Venus hasn't even got her fire in Aries started yet, this can be something that isn't quite solid. It can be beautiful, but also slippery. Watch your wallet. Things can disappear under these skies.
SUNDAY - now here's the grounding for yesterday's lalaland as Venus meets Saturn. Is this sustainable? Is this mutual? Is this aligned with our self-respect and values? Venus/Saturn can feel serious. Sometimes sobering. Sometimes it can make us feel old. Fantasies get reality-tested. Boundaries get drawn up. Results come in, sometimes so do rewards that we have worked for and consequences when we have not. Commitments are made (and sometimes withdrawn).
If Saturday was just a dream, Sunday is when we wake up.
TO RECAP this week might roll out something like this - emotional clearing around habits, work, pets or health (Virgo eclipse), a new relational or financial possibility (Venus/Uranus), reclaimed inner belief, confidence, optimism (Sun/Jupiter), a bold desire emerging (Venus in Aries), a dream meets insight (Venus/Neptune and Mercury Cazimi), mature choices/reality checks and consequences (Venus/Saturn).
I hope something here is helpful. Back with the Eclipse post.
