I've decided to start adding the Moon into these weeklies when I can. The planets show us what is changing, but it's truly the Moon that shows us how it feels. I always think of my New and Full Moon posts as covering Luna, but let's see if this week is more useful with both pulled together.
Keep in mind the Full Moon in Leo - that we talked about HERE - 'meeting the limits we denied existed' - is in play this week and next.
With Uranus stationing direct this week, the energy of "what has been endured, but can no longer be carried forward" is pulled into the Full Moon story. This isn't a brand-new thing. You already know what you have to do with this.
This isn't/doesn't have to be a chaotic week even with all this Uranian energy - think of it as a RE-PATTERNING week. Take grounded action. Stay flexible.
Let's unpack it!
MONDAY - Mercury sextile Chiron
TUESDAY - URANUS STATIONS DIRECT
WEDNESDAY - Venus sextile Chiron
THURSDAY - Mercury square Uranus, Sun inconjunct Jupiter
FRIDAY - Mercury enters Pisces
SUNDAY - Venus square Uranus
MONDAY - Mercury (Aqua) sextiles Chiron (Aries), LEO Moon opposes Venus/Mercury and squares Uranus.
We have this 'repair' tone available to us through the sextile (it's not automatic), but we also have this paradox of the REACTIVITY of the Leo Moon that is challenging and brings tension.
So, the week starts with the possibility of healing alongside this strong emotional volatility. Words/conversations/ideas/information have MEDICINE in them, but only if our nervous system is tended first. The Moon in Leo clashing with, what feels like, everybody brings a desire to be seen and understood and appreciated. It also brings drama and quick emotional responses/reactions - maybe especially around relationships, finances, validation/our voice. Our mood can change fast and insights arrive abruptly.
TO WORK WITH IT - name the wound without feeding the drama. Treat emotional reactions as information, not instructions. Mercury in Aquarius offers perspective - it is not going to erase pain but it will allow us to contextualize it/not personalize it so much. Just keep in mind that sextiles require participation. The squares and oppositions don't, so the tension/frustration will just show up. We have to seek out the words. Seek the solution.
TUESDAY - URANUS STATIONS DIRECT and the Moon moves into practical Virgo. Uranus is very strong at station and as he changes direction. This is a pivot point. Our nervous systems are humming louder now - can you feel it? Uranus stations at 27-degrees Taurus right on top of powerful fixed star Algol (algorithms, alcohol, loss of our head) and Trump is playing a living Uranus/agent of chaos/disorder for all of us now - his change of mind/pivot this week will likely be noticeable.
For most people this could be felt as - feeling restless without a clear plan, moving forward with a change we have been considering, maybe what we have tolerated/delayed/numbed out about can no longer be dismissed/hidden. This might be less about sudden new events (because we have been here before) as about the irreversibility of certain things that start moving/change direction because we won't be back here again. What moves now will not move back.
This will be Uranus's last station direct in Taurus - shifts with finances, money, resources, our values are possible now. Financial markets can shift this week.
The Moon in practical Virgo is helping us stabilize whatever we have going on. It is grounding/organizing energy. It also brings energy to the very helpful 'small is big' stuff. So small changes can make big impacts/improvements. TEND TO YOUR BODY. Simplify things. Listen for what's asking to move forward - it probably won't be hard to hear :)
WEDNESDAY - This is probably the gentlest and also the most productive day of the week.
Now Venus sextiles Chiron as the Virgo Moon sextiles Jupiter and trines Uranus.
This is potential healing for yesterday's Uranian buzzcut if we had one. More repair energy as Venus does midweek what Mercury did earlier. Good energy for repairing misunderstandings in relationships, working with healers (esp. female healers or Libras/Taurus people), feeling valued, valuing others. Maybe there is some kind of reclaiming of pleasure here/worthiness wholeness returning to the body. Our nervous system is settling down enough for the insight to become actionable. The changes can feel more like relief than loss.
TO WORK WITH IT - Virgo Moons are good times to repair/refine/forgive. This is an excellent day for integration work, relationship check-ins and practical shifts (they don't have to be big things) that support freedom/more space. Even rearranging furniture to get - more space - can be helpful this week.
THURSDAY - This looks like the week's most volatile and challenging day.
We have Mercury squaring Uranus and the Sun inconjuncts Jupiter as the Moon (in Libra now) opposes Saturn and Neptune and then trines Pluto and Mars.
Information lands sharply and can bring tension/frustration/require action. Mercury/Uranus can bring sudden news, impulsive words blurted out, changes in plans. Emotionally there is confrontation with truth/responsibility - THOSE LIMITS.
Watch for potential tech/transportation glitches - plan light. Double check before hitting 'send'.
The Sun is going to make that inconjunct with Jupiter we talked about in the Leo Full Moon post (Leo Full Moon energies in play this week and next) - this is where some kind of over-extension runs up against reality. Maybe we have mis-calibrated our ability/been overconfident, etc, and something comes in that makes us go, "wait, this is bigger than I thought." There could be a need to adjust plans or promises because we thought we understood the scope of something and it turns out we didn't. The good news today is the Moon's smooth trine to powerful Pluto and Mars. There is strength, agency and resolve available.
TO WORK WITH IT - take a breath before responding. We want to be acting from power and not urgency. We want to be choosing truth over what is comfortable and we want to be walking our talk. Remember what is falling away this week is ALREADY HOLLOW.
FRIDAY - Mercury slips into Pisces and the Libra Moon squares Jupiter and trines the Sun.
Mercury slips out of future-focused Aquarius and slides into watery/dissolving Pisces. This is not Mercury's favorite place since he is the ruler of Pisces polarity sign of Virgo, so is considered debilitated in Pisces. But still as logic gives way to intuition and sharp verbal edges dissolve there can be some relief.
This energy is less about 'let's figure it out' and more 'let's see what comes out in the wash". We can be less sure of ourselves now and that's ok. With Mercury in imaginative/illusive (and sometimes delusional) Pisces, words are felt rather than solved/used. The Moon's trine to the Sun is this month's Waxing Trine - Aquarius/Libra. This is easy integration/flow/the brakes off between the future, something more liberating, something more smart and less attached and balance/our relationships/women/other people.
WORK WITH IT - rest your mind. Listen to music. paint. Use less words - we want to be listening more than we are speaking as Mercury starts to drift. Let meanings just kind of slide in and out. Not a day to decide because things just aren't going to be sticky and the square to Jupiter tends to overdo. Relax into the weekend.
SATURDAY - the Moon in Scorpio trines both Venus and Mercury and squares Pluto
Emotional honesty deepens. Conversations go beneath the surface. A desire for real intimacy can replace politeness (the Libra to Scorpio journey that the Sun makes once a year and Luna makes every month). This can be connective and healing or controlling if we let fear take the wheel. Loosen your grip - something wants to fall into place (or out of place to create space) and we just have to let it.
WORK WITH IT - you want to work with truth/words/resources in a way that it is shared (if appropriate) and not wielded. "Our truth" isn't a weapon.
SUNDAY - Venus squares Uranus as the Scorpio Moon squares Mars and trines Jupiter
Now it’s Venus’s turn to square off with Uranus and, again, because she’s answering to him, the voltage is high. This is classic breakups, breakthroughs or breakdowns energy, especially where something has been avoided and a limit (set in motion by the Leo Full Moon) can no longer be denied.
There can be sudden attraction, sudden detachment, or a powerful urge to break free from the same-old patterns. With fixed signs involved, flexibility matters. Gripping makes things slip faster. Sudden shifts around money, values, or resources are also possible.
The Scorpio Moon intensifies our desire and demands emotional truth. Squared by Mars, feelings want action now. Trined by Jupiter, Luna says there is growth and expansion available IF impulses are guided and not just unleashed.
Venus is about to move into Pisces, where she’s exalted, so this tension is not without purpose. What’s being activated is a deep need for authenticity, vitality and aliveness. Attachments that restrict growth may feel intolerable and that can register as anxiety or shakiness if we resist the change.
WORK WITH IT - Move your body to clear the charge of everything. We want to be giving our feelings room without giving them the steering wheel. Choose freedom with integrity - changes made slowly and consciously tend to last. Ask what wants to evolve, not what needs to be destroyed and ask the real question these squares pose this week:
"Can this grow with me or must I outgrow it?"
The answer may apply to relationships, habits, identities or the desires themselves.
xo all
