She will trine Venus (smooth love, money, self-esteem, beauty situations) at 6:50AM EDT - good for social actions/connecting with other people and then trine Mercury (Gemini's ruler) at 1:23PM EDT - good for giving a talk or presentation, putting out information. News we can use. Teaching, Learning. Good for commerce, too.

We also have the Sun (finishing up in Virgo) trining Vesta (in Taurus).

We talked about Vesta yesterday as she connected with the Moon in Taurus and added a FOCUS on what really matters to that Grand Air Trine. So, today she moves into an exact aspect with the Sun (27 degrees). More grounded earth connections. Again, smallish, productive actions. What we do impacting our bottom line. With a waning Moon the focus could be on finishing up/cleaning something out.

A light is tossed on what is most important to us. What we need to do/have to keep our home fires burning.

There is some tension/rain on our parade later today with an inconjunct to sober Saturn. Maybe we are dealing with an authority figure or our need to step into our authority. A limit. A "no". A goal needs to be adjusted. The rock and the hard place. Stay flexible.

Astrology Forecast for Creatives | September 19, 2019 - the smooth and profitable ending, the finishing touches that add value, keeping your eye on the ball, practical power moves and win-wins

At 9:56AM EDT, the Taurus Moon trines the Virgo Sun (26 degrees) giving us this month's Waning Trine.

This is about the precise details and small movements that "flow" us toward greater comfort and stability. Finishing touches that add value. Smooth endings. Practical actions meet tangible results that feel good/safe.

Adding this brief lunar moment to today's Mars (in Virgo) trine Pluto (in Capricorn) - we have a Grand Earth Trine this morning.

Sensible and efficient power moves that create win-wins. Focus. Courage.

Taurus/Virgo/Capricorn is our path of least resistance.

Collectively we are talking about our money/resources/self esteem + our work, health, day-to-day activities + our goals, career, place in the outside world. If you know the themes of these houses in your natal chart - here is where to make a move.

To add the Taurus (to get the Grand Trine) - we include the waning (releasing) Moon - that smooth (profitable) ending. The safe landing.

Vesta is conjunct the Taurus Moon - that sacred focus/why we do what we do - she will add FOCUS. Determination to get what we need here. An urgency to keep certain fires burning since important matters are being attended to.

The Moon will go void off that trine, but in her exalted position stay performing.

Today's Astrology Forecast | September 18, 2019 - practical action to create comfort and stability, daddy's home, being served what we ordered, a flashing GREEN LIGHT

It's all good for our Taurus Moon today as she trines Saturn, sextiles Neptune, trines Mars and Pluto. All smooth aspects. Good for finances, business, our resources and self-esteem.

When the Moon trines the Sun - exact on Thursday morning at 9:56AM EDT - she will form a Grand Trine (with Mars and Pluto) and this starts to build TONIGHT with her trine to Pluto.

Mars will also trine Pluto tomorrow.

We are stepping into some powerful energy now. A Grand Trine indicates NO RESISTANCE - multiple brakes are off and gates open. This is an open loop between our Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn houses/themes. In Earth signs, this is about creating something REAL. Something physical. Something that can be touched.

It's a time to be productive and get stuff done!

Mars in Virgo is about practical, step-by-step action in a work or health matter. Pluto in Capricorn is about power/control/transformation of our goals, career, our worldly life and its structures. The Moon in Taurus creates comfort and luxury, speaks of our resources and money. These are the collective themes (your personal natal themes will be most accurate). If you have planets or points from 20-26 degrees of these signs - Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn - this is a flashing GREEN LIGHT.

The big news now is Saturn stationing direct after five months retrograde. Hopefully we were able to wrap up any "unfinished business" during that time because he is full steam ahead for the rest of his journey through his home sign. He (as we) will be covering old ground - now we begin to make our third pass - until the end of December when he gets back to 20 degrees Capricorn - the degree of his retrograde station last April.

Saturn's direct motion can release pent up pressure in our Capricorn house allowing us to make solid moves toward our goals and ambitions (and our natal Capricorn house theme).

It could have felt, during his retrograde, that we were moving backward. Maybe obligations weighed heavily. Walls and limitations had to be faced. Corners we had previously cut were noted to be missing.

The bills came due.

Maybe we were re-evaluating, re-assessing, re-affirming our responsibilities and commitments.

Maybe we learned to say, "no". Maybe we learned to say "yes" to something we had been avoiding.

Saturn always gives rewards, but they are Saturnian rewards - coming after we've put in the time and hard work to build something that lasts.

And yes, the thing that lasts IS the reward!

Our long range goals/commitments that may have been stuck can start to move forward now. 

With Saturn (father time) direct - daddy's home! - greater external structure is brought into our lives.

This can feel supportive and rewarding (if we have been doing our Saturn retro work) or like a wall/limit/roadblock (if we have been partying like it's 1999 - does anyone remember 1999? it seems so last century).

Dad's home. Summer's over.

Have we been goofing off? Staying out late? Running up the electric bill? Worn out his favorite chair or left his tools out in the rain to rust?

Karmic books get balanced.

Saturn rules endings and something could end now. 

Remember, karma isn't about punishment. 

It is simply cause and effect - we are just being served what we ordered.

Most of us do alot of this "ordering" unconsciously.

If we don't like what we are being served - we can choose to do things differently.

Right now.

Today.

Think clean slate.

The time-line has shifted. We are either in a repeat loop or on a new road. Either way, Saturn plays his hand (and this could have already happened), and then, the next move is ours.

Keep in mind we are building toward one of this year's biggest aspects (since it is a three-peat) - Jupiter square Neptune - which is exact on Saturday, but in play now. Neptune has been dissolving all the Jupertarian goodies (Jupiter in his home sign of Sagittarius has never had a chance!) - maybe we have been disappointed.

After Saturday this aspect begins to unwind. Jupiter is free at last!

In the meantime keep in mind this square's tendency to create overwhelm. We over-promise. We over-do. We expect too much. Enthusiasm. Fantasy. Things look too good and then they just fizzle out.

We are almost past this so hang in there - keep your actions practical and focused (and bring other people into the mix remember the planets have started to move into Libra). One step at a time.

Today's Astrology Forecast | September 17, 2019 - uncomfortable conversations around love or money, staying flexible, last minute breakthroughs and breaks for freedom

The Moon moves into Taurus at 6:31AM EDT, the sign of her exaltation.

Venus (ruler of Taurus and strong in her home sign of Libra) will oppose wounded healer Chiron. Again the "me" vs "we" thing. With Mercury having barely eked past his own opposition to Chiron - this is likely to create relationship hurting/healing

via uncomfortable (the Moon in Taurus can help if we let her) conversations around money/love/resources.

The times we had to stand up for ourselves/go it alone/couldn't feel the love or connection are re-activated. The times we didn't have enough. Most of us carry deep cell memories of starving to death that create all kinds of havoc in our life now.

We keep too much stuff. We spend too much money. We overeat. We don't prioritize nourishment. We hold onto situations that aren't working because at least they are something we can wrap our arms around.

Venus is the natural ruler of the 7th house - the sign of our projections. We could be dealing with people who have what we want or expecting other people to know what we need, without the uncomfortable conversation to tell them what that is and this won't work.

With Mercury (communication) inconjunct (rock and a hard place) Uranus - news could be unexpected or hard to deliver/hear.

Quirky jokes will fall flat. Blunt language will hurt, but no flowery adjectives will make the words feel any better either.

Maybe we want our words to be kind, but the information is so unexpected/chaos producing that they will hurt no matter what we say and how we say it. And, of course, it is equally possible to be the one hearing the words now.

Saturn is standing strong and still in his home sign preparing for his marching orders to move forward later in the week. In some way we are back where we were in January 2019 with that Capricorn situation - what have we learned? What have we done?

September is the last time we will have all this earthy energy (this has already started to change) before the big energetics of January 2020, alot of practical stuff should be, and has been, getting done.

Endings are fated this year, so STAY FLEXIBLE.

We are releasing the feelings of unworthiness that created these sore spots around love, money and self-esteem in the first place and this stuff is very old and very deep.

If we want a more equal, balanced world where everyone has enough (something this planet can easily support), these fears around not having enough have to go.

I know I said yesterday that today would be better and today I will say that tomorrow will be better. 

We've got this thing. Keep the faith all.

Another thing I should say about today's Uranus connections - the Moon and Mercury - it won't be easy or comfortable BUT if something liberating needs to happen BEFORE Saturn starts to cement our future path with his direct station tomorrow night - HERE and NOW is the energy for that to happen.

Today's Astrology Forecast | September 16, 2019 - power struggles, twists and turns, words that wound, thinking about what we are thinking about, a powerful focus, practical action, another brick goes into the wall - no, not that wall, the sun will come out tomorrow

The Moon in fiery and independent Aries trined big-picture Jupiter while we slept (jumping out of bed and GOING is a real possibility) and goes void off a square with transformative Pluto at 12:03PM EDT.  

Power struggles. No soft edges. Maybe our career/goals/responsibilities are at odds with what we personally need to do now. Something new is blocked. Try to avoid direct confrontations.

(if you need a pow-wow with the big cheese or the best energies to step into your own big-cheesiness Thursday morning would be a better time)

Another long void Moon means this is not the best day to start anything brand new (get things done early). Expect twists and turns and do-overs with new actions. Practiced routine is best. Time gets stretchy.

Mercury (in Libra now) opposes a retrograde Chiron in Aries. Words and information can be painful and trigger other/older woundings. Passive/aggressive communications. Keep in mind that thoughts are things and proceed through the day accordingly. Mercury in Libra wants balance and diplomacy, but Chiron in "go-it-alone" Aries, will be triggered by anything that impinges on "me". It might feel like no one is helping us. Probably because they aren't. Whah!

Not a good day for diplomacy, so solo work is probably favored. 

Mars is still traveling with the Sun giving us a powerful focus and the energy to get things done in a step-by-step, one thing after another, practical manner.

The Moon will move into her exalted position in comfortable Taurus tomorrow with MANY positive aspects!

Astrology Forecast for Creatives | Week of September 16th - daddy's home, the delays are over, courage and ambition, not a week to bet the farm, challenging conversations and news

Another BIG week - we have a major repeating aspect and Saturn stationing direct!

TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY - Mercury and then Venus (both in Libra now) oppose Chiron in Aries
WEDNESDAY - Saturn stations direct at 14 degrees Capricorn
SATURDAY - Jupiter squares Neptune (third of three times this year)
SUNDAY - Mercury squares Saturn (and the North and South Nodes)

On TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY - Mercury and then Venus will oppose Chiron in Aries. Relationship are challenging as old and deep wounds are triggered by words and information. Diplomacy/cooperation will be difficult. Conversations painful. No matter how hard we try we almost can't say the right thing. And keep in mind as other people's words trigger old wounds buried deep inside us, they can't say the right thing either! Surrender. Apologize. We are moving to HIGHER ground, folks.

On WEDNESDAY - Saturn stations direct at 14 degrees Capricorn.

Daddy's home. What have we done with the time (since April) he has been gone? We are held accountable now. Have we been responsible? Did we cut the grass and take out the trash? Rewards can come in for hard work. There can also be discipline for slacking off OR a bigger kick in the ass that points us (or our work) in a new direction.

Karmic endings could be triggered.

Old stories that have played themselves out and need to end, will.

Goals/career situations that have been in a kind of suspended animation will start to move FORWARD.

Unstable situations can stabilize. Saturn will be full steam ahead for the rest of his journey through his home sign. The delays are over.

For some, this will begin the most powerful career (or Cappy house theme) momentum in our LIFETIME. By mid-January ALL of our Saturn/Cappy story-lines will have experienced BIG changes.

At the same time we have Mars (in Virgo) trining a retrograde Pluto in Capricorn.

Courage. Confidence. Ambition. A strong will to succeed. Excellent energy to power our way through challenging tasks - one step at a time - still Mars in practical Virgo!

On SATURDAY - Jupiter (in Sagittarius) squares Neptune (in Pisces) for the third and final time.

We had this aspect in January and then again in June.

We talked about this in last week's Full Moon post HERE.

Neptune says let go, relax, have another drink, go back to sleep, to channel my inner Jersey girl "fugget about it". Jupiter says MORE, leap, "I'll have some of what's she's having".  

Squares are tension/stress - something is exaggerated. Too good to be true maybe or we take something too far. Overwhelming. Over-indulgent. Over-something.

Maybe our faith is tested now via a disappointment.

This is not a good time to be overly optimistic. Don't bet the farm. Don't lend money you want to ever see again. Avoid drugs/alcohol/gambling.

If one more thing (remember this is a repeating aspect so won't be something totally new) is going to hit us this week, this will be when it does.

After these guys begin to unwind more and more clarity and access to all the gold nuggets promised by Jupiter in Sagittarius will start to come in!

Keep in mind that Jupiter in Sag is all about having faith. The gift of having faith isn't that we get the thing we want. The gift is the changes that come to us through the act of HAVING FAITH.

What's that Course in Miracles quote - "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God." Something like that. Please don't make me google. 

Since this is the third of three - clarity could come in now. Release.

On SUNDAY - Mercury (in Libra) moves into square with Saturn and the Nodes.

Serious conversations. Challenging information. Sobering news.

Possibly around work vs family (or our Cappy vs Cancer natal themes).

Mercury in Libra wants kind words and cooperation and for everybody to just get along and this won't be easy. There are rules, limits, boundaries. Responsibilities. Difficult conversations with authority. We've got air now, so let's think before we speak. Watch what we are agreeing/committing to now because we WILL be held accountable for it. Maybe we are not liking what we are hearing. Maybe the answer is no. Our thinking could be negative or depressive. With the Nodes of Fate triggered this normally fast and fleeting aspect gains greater importance, so pay attention.

We'll talk about all of this as we move through the week and factor in the very important lunar energies!
