weekly astrology forecast | october 23rd to october 29th, 2023 - lunar eclipse in taurus polishes off the scorpio and taurus eclipses of the last two years! what do we value now? what is really ours?

TUESDAY - Sun trine Saturn

THURSDAY - Venus inconjunct Chiron

SATURDAY - Mars opposite Jupiter, Mercury opposite Jupiter, FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE

SUNDAY - Mercury conjunct Mars

Another big week as we build toward our second October Eclipse - happening as Mars and Mercury oppose Jupiter!

Let's dive right in.

We start the week with the Sun moving into Scorpio and straight into a smooth and productive trine with a retrograde Saturn. Good for dealing with authority and stepping into our own. Rewards/recognition for old work. Maybe illusive obstacles or confusion fades as we focus/commit/DIVE IN DEEP. We can confront our fears with big girl/ boy pants ON.

By THURSDAY, Venus is making an awkward inconjunct to Chiron. Remember what an inconjunct is - we are halfway between a square and an opposition - between a rock and a hard place. This is Virgo/Aries and we can see the problems between the sign that values a step-by-step practical approach and the sign that wants to charge in and fight. We need to give both of these energies some way to work through us AND realize there won't be any quick fixes right now. Any aspect with Chiron can expose our vulnerabilities/weaknesses. Maybe fears around our ability to take care of ourselves/be ourselves.  Something HURTS.

Venus's next move, next week, and remember she is uber important now as the QUEEN of the October Eclipses - is a smooth trine to change-maker Uranus on Halloween. Practical upgrades. Changes that make sense/cents. So, this awkwardness now, this potential hurt, this 'rock and a hard place' is part of our journey toward a smoother integration then. Practical attractions are liberating. Small changes are pulling us - this time, NOT, kicking and screaming - into the future.

The big stuff becomes exact at the weekend - although coming through an Eclipse, energy that works backward and forward means we can feel this stuff anytime - as the Full Moon is blocked (partially) by the Earth, and first Mars and then Mercury oppose Jupiter before meeting each other.

The Eclipse THIS WEEKEND is BIG.

And will have its own post.

The good news here - this is the last of the Taurus Eclipses for 18 years - our relationship with what we have/need/our resources/money/property THOROUGHLY TRANSFORMED over the last couple years - and over the next few weeks as this Eclipse plays out. The Taurus/Scorpio Eclipses  HAVE DONE, AND WILL DO, THEIR JOB through fated endings and renewals. What do we have/own? What do we value now? What is really ours?

More good news for this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse - the Moon is exalted in Taurus and applying to a conjunction with Jupiter. Venus, yes, she rules THIS Eclipse as well as the last one, is trining Uranus, good for unexpected and future-focused relationship and financial developments. Mars, ruler of the Scorpio Sun here, is home in Scorpio, so not debilitated like he was during the Eclipse two weeks ago. Mercury is conjunct Mars so our minds/words are quick AND focused.

There are some tangles with this Eclipse, too, and we will talk about them in the next post.

This Eclipse is happening on the degree where Jupiter started walking his retrograde shadow back on June 11th and where he will station direct on December 30th, so this Eclipse is strongly connected to Jupiter's back and forth through Taurus - collectively this is about our resources, skills, property, money, self-esteem - as he/we mine for OLD GOLD. The stuff we missed the first time through.

This connection with Jupiter makes the Eclipse's Mars/Jupiter opposition (and Mercury/Jupiter opposition) more important. Mine vs Ours/Yours. Drama that won't be saved for our mamas. Energy. Enthusiasm. Over-doings. For some, obsession, old battles and a taste for revenge ...

If collective events were not what they are, I would like this Eclipse more than I do, but we will talk about THAT in the next post.

I hope something here is helpful.

xo all

- back with the Eclipse and we will look at the Israel/Palestine charts. I just located the Palestine chart tonight. Not really a surprise that their Sun opposes Israel's Sun. It conjuncts Israel's Chiron. Pluto back and forth over their 28 degree Cappy Moon (the people of Palestine). They have had that for some time at this point and it will have built up alot of pressure there. So this means, next spring's BIG Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Taurus on Israel's Sun will oppose Palestine's Sun ...
