April kicks off with some golden nuggets - multiple trines and sextiles and compass alignments.
The Solar Eclipse New Moon in Aries is IN PLAY - we are building something new and the Pisces stellium and retrogrades say - concluding something old. Very old.
Neptune is in fiery Aries for the first time in over 150 years. We talked about it HERE and will talk about it again. With so many planets in Pisces (modern ruler Neptune) - Mercury, Venus, Saturn, the North Node - we will have to see what this 'sneak peek' of Neptune's change of location brings us. I am thinking some kind of WAKE-UP CALL. And, with all these repeating Pisces to Aries to Pisces to Aries aspects in 2025 and into 2026 we might hit the snooze alarm a couple times before hearing it. But, maybe not.
For now, let's dive right into the week ahead!
TUESDAY - Venus retrograde conjunct the North Node (this will be repeated in TWO WEEKS with Venus direct!)
WEDNESDAY - Mercury retrograde conjunct the North Node (this will be repeated NEXT WEEK with Mercury direct!)
FRIDAY - Mars trines Saturn, Saturn sextile Uranus, First Quarter Moon
SUNDAY - Venus retrograde trine Mars, MERCURY STATIONS DIRECT
MONDAY - the Moon is in Taurus, the sign of her exaltation. We are nurtured/nourished by traditionally nourishing things. Good food (from the Earth), a hot bath, warm towels, a soothing touch. Think comfort here. The Moon is waxing/growing, so something in our life will be, too. Her only aspect today is an opposition to Vesta who is retrograde in Scorpio, so there could be something underneath/in the shadows that is nagging at us and interfering with our 'comfort/ability to relax or to grow'. With Vesta retrograde this is an old focus that we are back and forthing over, revising, reviewing - this could bring a power struggle or be about a merged financial situation. Intimacy, secrets, taxes, insurance, inheritance/death could play a part.
TUESDAY - the Moon in Taurus continues her journey making multiple smooth trines and sextiles - things are falling into place and action coupled with the right emotions, and valuing ourselves, create opportunities. This is also the day a retrograde Venus catches up with the North Node in Pisces. How often do we get an exalted Moon answering to an exalted Venus on the North Node of FATE - uh, maybe never! Our future is coming from the past in some way. WE COULD BE GETTING A SECOND CHANCE WITH SOMETHING. Someone or something from the past - that we once loved or valued - could be part of the situation/the conversation. Remember what Venus and Mercury retrograde's repeating aspects from Pisces to Aries are doing - giving us a chance to get back things we have missed/lost that we might need to bring forward with us and giving us a chance to get a better ending (whatever has been going on the last few weeks - which has connections to very old chapters in past life and ancestral books we may not even remember). The Moon goes void at 1:42PM EDT off a productive and communicative sextile to Mercury in Pisces. Void for a couple hours she will continue to perform here as we sort this out - make your list/plans, make/take the call or email or text (be sure, with Mercury retrograde to double check things, but don't go nuts overthinking it, the energy has our back today, is wanting to help IF these things are intending to work out). Three hours later the Moon is in busy, busy Gemini - sextiling Neptune and trining Pluto. All good. Take action. WRING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN FROM THIS DAY!
With the North Node in Pisces - these Mercury and Venus retrogrades will work out in our favor!
WEDNESDAY - the Moon is in Gemini, so expect to be BUSY. There will be two things to do at all times and with Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, backwards and swimming/drifting in Pisces we are going to need to DOUBLE-CHECK everything. Luna makes an opportunistic sextile to the Aries Sun - this is a QUICK OPPORTUNITY. Blink and we might miss it, so stay on your toes and keep moving. Say yes to things that come up with the caveat that the Moon will meet up with 'bigger-is-better' Jupiter next, so we could easily take on too much and we might regret some of this tomorrow when we are not feeling quite so OPTIMISTIC. Keep one foot on the ground. This is also the day Mercury retrograde - ruler of Gemini and Virgo - catches up with the North Node of Fate. Again, I will say WE COULD BE GETTING A SECOND CHANCE WITH SOMETHING. Conversations and information will be important. There could be a flashing green light on our FUTURE. This might be the time a DECISION IS NEEDED or an idea or conversation shows up (likely connected to whatever has been going on the last few weeks - which has connections to very old chapters in past life and ancestral books we may not even remember). Note - this is happening in Pisces, so some of our response here will be intuitive, maybe connected to something dreamy/creative. Again, we have gone back to get what we lost and to get a better ending. We will have to see how much Pisces ruler Neptune's 'sneak peek' jump into the fires of Aries impacts our motivation and courage now. There is a REASON life is bringing us these connections with the North Node of Fate with the inner planets retrograde and Neptune in a brand new space where he hasn't been in our lifetime. It's FATE TRAIN TIME.
THURSDAY - the Moon in Gemini is now squaring all the Pisces planets - TENSION and FRUSTRATION. You now know this going in, so plan accordingly. It will be easy to make mistakes, so again, the whole double-checking thing and then taking action on the things we can and letting go of the things we can't. The Moon goes void off a square to Mercury which could spark an argument, probably an old one, and then we stew through the void until Luna comes home to Cancer and brings her problems with her. Or maybe these are new problems. Either way, once in Cancer, she, as we, are headed to our First Quarter Square with the Sun on FRIDAY, so some of this tension/frustration is spilling over into tomorrow. Maybe a family issue or a nurturing or security issue needs our attention. Expect people (including ourselves) to be re-acting from the past, so could be moody/childish. Or maybe we are dealing with actual children :) Whatever this is, the way through a square is ACTION. Squares push us to move and change.
FRIDAY - the Moon is home in Cancer now. We are all feeling the mama bear energy. Her square to the Sun (which we talked about yesterday is exact tonight) - this is about us/our direction/leadership/what we want to do vs our security/home/family/mother. Maybe we are called to use our warrior energy in defense of someone else or maybe we need to make adjustments to our home or a nurturing situation. We might feel anxious or angry. DON'T TAKE THINGS TOO PERSONALLY because the Moon in Cancer will have us feeling everything.
This is also the day we have the week's BEST ASPECTS, so whatever tension and frustration the Cancer square is digging up (our reactions here can be very old/based in childhood) it is the way life is getting our attention - to move us back on track during this mid-point from last week's New Moon in Aries and next week's Full Moon in Libra. Our ACTIONS - collectively this is about our security, home, family, mothering - will bring opportunities. The energy is probably looking to CEMENT our direction with whatever Venus/Mercury/North Node was showing us (ie had us dealing with or thinking about) earlier in the week. These are water trines, so we will be flowing in whatever direction they are carrying us. Situations, action, decisions - can be FATED. Note - this doesn't mean results won't require work, etc, but it's likely things that can't happen just won't happen and the things that do are "meant to be" in some sense. Saturn's opportunistic sextile to Uranus shows that some kind of NEW energy is added here - likely in terms of our resources, money, self-esteem, or chances to what we value.
Be responsible and show up.
Mars' trine to Saturn (brakes off) shows something lasting and stabilizing is falling into place here. This is probably the best aspect Mars has made in Cancer since last fall when the "war comes home" storyline started. SOMETHING FALLS TOGETHER.
SATURDAY - the Moon in Cancer is making a gazillion smooth and positive aspects. She catches up with Mars, so we should be feeling good about our actions and she trines (brakes off) all the Pisces planets. ENJOY THIS DAY, focus on your security, family, mothering, your Cancer house theme.
SUNDAY - The Moon in early Leo looks to bring us some kind of PREVIEW of the MEGA Mars/Pluto final opposition later in April. Fear. Power struggles. By the next day though, so next Monday, that same Moon in Leo will be sextiling Jupiter and trining the Sun - we move on from the Mars/Pluto clash by the next morning when the energies look optimistic and courageous. Keep that in mind. Sunday is also the day that MERCURY STATIONS DIRECT - here is the conclusion to whatever we have been going back and forth over the last few weeks. If we have been trying to decide about something, well, here is where - TIME IS UP. Delays can end. Next week Venus will station direct at the Libra Full Moon answering to her - bringing her own results/conclusion.
The Moon makes a sextile (Tuesday), square (Thursday) and trine (Sunday) to Neptune this week, so let's see how we are feeling about Neptune in Aries by the end of this week! I have Neptune tightly conjunct (2 degrees) my ascendent and the focal point of an uber tight and gnarly T-Square with my Sun, Saturn and Mars, so will surely be motivated to write about it.
NEXT WEEK is very important, too, and then the following week is the final Mars/Pluto, so get enough rest AND take the actions that need to be taken now.
