Sorry for my AWOL.
My birthday was Sunday - right on the Full Moon - and I had some expected, and some not so expected, celebrations going on and did not get the weekly post up or the Full Moon in Leo post (played hookie and saw Harry Potter the Cursed Child on Broadway - so good).
We will do some dailies this week and catch up with that Full Moon, too!
As for Tuesday, February 7, 2023, the Moon has left fiery Leo and moved into "let's clean up the mess/fix this thing" Virgo.
She squares Mars at 4:04PM EST, opposes Venus at 10:01PM EST and trines Uranus 15 minutes later.
The square to Mars leaves us ripe for an argument/accident, so slow down. Measure your words and actions. The Moon in Virgo wants things just so and Mars in Gemini just wants to get going, so we could be pushed to make a move/choice. This is tension/frustration and the square says we HAVE TO MOVE even if we aren't sure precisely what we are doing or how to do it.
The follow-up opposition to Venus tonight, will start applying after the square. This is separation energy/an ending. Our two biggest feminine energies not getting along. One practical/one dreamy. There could be something here (maybe Virgo-centric like a need for perfection or maybe an unfixable something or other, etc) that needs to be released and Venus comes in and asks us to LET IT GO.
That trine to Uranus just a few minutes later is reinforcing the NEW. The brakes are off with something different/future focused. This is an Earth trine, so requires some action on our part, but things will move easily - the wheels are greased. We COMMIT EMOTIONALLY to a new plan and then physically do something to - get it moving.
This is also the day Vesta leaves dreamy Pisces for "let's get this NEW thing started" Aries, which is kind of echoing the Virgo Moon's machinations.
Vesta is about the fire that must be kept burning/what keeps us up at night. Our focus turns to our Aries house - the current home of Jupiter, Juno and Chiron. This is good energy to start something NEW, to find a new passion or to turn our attention/focus to something we are passionate about. Aries is the sign of "me, me, me" and with the North Node (our best way forward) headed into this territory in July, it can pay off to take better care of ourselves now/put that oxygen mask on our own face first. Vesta in Aries is masculine, fast and instinctive - the starter, the fighter, independent, brave, sometimes angry. Vesta will be in Aries until the middle of April.
The rest of the week's major transits are:
WEDNESDAY - Venus (in Pisces) sextiles Uranus (in Taurus). This speaks of opportunities for increased income, more compassionate/connecting relationships, POSITIVE CHANGES. This is our dreams and the dirt we plant those 'dream' seeds in working together.
FRIDAY - Mercury (in Capricorn) meets Pluto at 29 degrees. This speaks of powerful words/ideas/information. Conversations with authority/about our responsibilities. Intense words. Truth can come out. Profound realizations. People could be talking about/thinking about death. Note, this is the degree Pluto will be moving back and forth over until the end of the year - we'll talk more about this later in the week.
SATURDAY - Mercury leaves serious Capricorn, closing the door on his meeting with powerful Pluto, and moves into logical/detached Aquarius. The conversation changes. Our thinking shifts. We can step back a bit/see situations from a less emotional perch which allows us to say what needs to be said. Hear what we couldn't hear before. We get more logical. Also more innovative. Mercury in Aquarius is about clear-headed, dispassionate thinking FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE. Its clarity comes from the space that is generated from detachment. We mentally step back a litle bit and the pictures in our head get a little clearer/our words a little more smart. She can also focus us on what 'the crowd' is doing. Not only so we can join in (if we want to), but also, so we can connect to hive-mind - the we, often being smarter than the me. Aquarius is fixed air, so people will dig into their positions/use too much head and not enough heart while Mercury is here, but the trade-off is flashes of pure genius. Aquarius rules the collective. Saturn is about to exit Aquarius and Pluto about to enter. It's time to get out and talk to people.
SATURDAY is also the day, Mars in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries - opportunities for healing very old wounds via our actions and conversations. Maybe by keeping things light. Maybe by applying some humor. Yes, there is an old wound here, but opportunities come up for us to easily deal with it. Even benefit from our vulnerabilities.
