MONDAY - Mars conjunct Neptune, Venus sextile Jupiter - Moon in Aquarius squares Uranus
TUESDAY - Mercury sextile Uranus, Mercury enters Aries, Moon in Pisces trines Jupiter and sextiles Venus
WEDNESDAY - Moon in Pisces goes void off a sextile to Uranus, moves into Aries and conjuncts Mercury/Neptune/Mars, sextiles Pluto and then conjuncts Saturn
THURSDAY - Mars sextile Pluto, Sun conjunct Chiron, Mercury conjunct Neptune, Aries Moon squares Jupiter
FRIDAY - ARIES NEW MOON then Moon moves into Taurus and squares Pluto
SATURDAY - Mercury sextile Pluto, Moon in Taurus sextiles Jupiter in Cancer
SUNDAY - Mars conjunct Saturn (Sun semi-sextile Uranus, Mars semi-sextile North Node), Sun enters Taurus, Moon in Taurus conjuncts Venus and Uranus moves into Gemini and sextiles Neptune and trines Pluto
Let's jump right in because this week is a doozy - we will use the early part of the week to explore options and expect to make clearer decisions by the end. Progress comes from us choosing a direction and then taking responsibility for it. The New Moon in Aries is a BIG STARTING POINT, but not everything can move forward at once. This week helps clarify where our energy is best spent and where it’s time to set limits or make adjustments or close things out. By the end of the week, the focus shifts to what’s realistic and sustainable, so what we choose now is less about potential and more about what we are prepared to maintain. Keep this in mind.
MONDAY - dream meets desire - Mars conjunct Neptune, Venus sextile Jupiter, Moon (Aquarius) square Uranus
This is visionary fire, BUT IT'S FOGGY FIRE. Mars/Neptune can feel like - inspired action, spiritual courage or total confusion about what we’re doing and why. The Venus/Jupiter softens everything - grace, generosity. This is a reminder that something good is trying to come through! But the Aquarius Moon squaring Uranus? Emotional static. Unexpected reactions. Sudden insights or disruptions. Emotional change. Theme for Monday - a beautiful vision … but our footing is unstable.
TUESDAY - sparks of clarity - Mercury sextile Uranus, Mercury enters Aries plus Moon in Pisces (trine Jupiter, sextile Venus)
Now our mind WAKES UP. Mercury/Uranus is flashes, insights, liberating conversations. Mercury into Aries means our thoughts become decisive, fast, unfiltered/get us moving. Meanwhile, the Pisces Moon tries to keep things intuitive, soft, even forgiving. Theme for Tuesday - Intuition meets BOLD WORDS. We may suddenly say the thing we’ve only felt before or maybe someone else does. People can be more argumentative - keep this in mind.
WEDNESDAY - crossing the brink Moon into Aries hitting Mercury/Neptune/Mars, sextile Pluto, then conjunct Saturn
This is where the sh*t gets real.
The Moon activates that entire Aries cluster, so we get emotion plus action plus confusion plus message = combustion? Then Luna will sextile Pluto (truth, the stuff that has been stuffed, empowerment) and catch up with Saturn (containment, consequence, reality check, limits). Theme for Wednesday - from inspiration to accountability. What are we actually going to do about it?
THURSDAY - truth cuts through Mars sextile Pluto, Sun conjunct Chiron, Mercury conjunct Neptune, Moon square Jupiter
This is one of the most potent days of the week. Mars/Pluto is about focused and transformative power. Sun/Chiron speaks of wounds illuminated, healing through awareness and vulnerability. Mercury/Neptune tells us there is lingering fog, but also deep compassion and connection. The Moon squaring Jupiter can exaggerate our reactions/responses (maybe especially around home/family/security) and EMOTIONS CAN RUN BIG. Theme for Thursday - power and vulnerability. We can move mountains here, but only if we’re being honest about what hurts (openly share, not hide flaws, have courage).
We will unpack this in its own post, but this New Moon is not gentle. At a late Aries degree, it carries the energy of what has come before it and WHAT HAS BEEN BUILDING. There can be a sense that something can’t be postponed any longer. The Moon asks - what are we ready to START and what can’t be avoided anymore? Then immediately the Moon moves into Taurus and squares Pluto, so there is a confrontation/tension/frustration with values, resources, security and what must change at the root. Theme for Friday - this is a new beginning that demands a price. Something must shift at a foundational level. EXPECT A BIG POST.
SATURDAY - grounding the vision - Mercury sextile Pluto, Taurus Moon sextile Jupiter
Finally… SOME STABILITY. Mercury/Pluto brings deep insight, honest conversations and powerful strategic thinking - keep in mind this is a sextile so requires we do something to get the BENEFIT. The exalted Taurus Moon sextile Jupiter beings a steadiness. Nourishment. Reassurance. Comfort. Theme for Saturday - make it real. Make it sustainable.
SUNDAY - the pivot point - Mars conjunct Saturn, Sun enters Taurus, Moon moves from Taurus into Gemini
This looks like some kind of defining moment. Mars/Saturn is stop/go energy. He brings a reality check to our efforts/actions. Saturn builds muscles and without him all this Aries would have us totally off the rails. This is about disciplined effort and commitment or frustration if something isn’t aligned. Either way we are finding out where we stand. NOTE - these are two malignant energies powering each other up - SLOW DOWN. Avoid dicey maneuvers, dark alleys and unnecessary confrontations. I talked in the monthly HERE and HERE about this date and the days surrounding it in history. Then the Sun enters Taurus just as the Moon leaves - this is about grounding, embodiment, slowing down, focusing on what lasts/focusing on what really matters. Money, resources, self-esteem. After the solar/focus shift comes the emotional shift as the Moon moves from Taurus into Gemini and the energy lightens and begins to MOVE. What we have felt deeply now starts to be understood, talked about and processed.
Commitment meets clarity. The choice is made and now the story begins to move forward.
Fingers crossed and prayers given that the leaders (and hotheads) of planet Earth don't f*ck this week up. We will take a look at the collective storyline once Mars gets past Saturn and we see what we are working with.
So, what began as an idea, dream or impulse is shaped by reality over the course of the week. By the end, what remains is what’s both meaningful and workable. Very pivotal week guys - let's do/live this thing!
xo all - back with the New Moon post and we'll see what Luna's monthly fresh start adds to the picture and I will try to get this one up by sign.
