TUESDAY - Venus trine Pluto
WEDNESDAY -Venus square North Node
FRIDAY - Venus sextile Saturn, Mercury conjunct Chiron, FULL MOON IN SCORPIO
SATURDAY - Mercury enters Taurus
MONDAY - the Sun in Taurus sextiles the North Node in Pisces.
A stabilizing doorway. Taurus/Pisces tells us to simplify and trust our body. This is about following the quiet YES. I guess I should say "yes" :) Something practical (something that makes sense/cents) can support a larger spiritual/compassionate/imaginative and FATED direction. Keep in mind sextiles are soft aspects and require some kind of effort on our part. This can be a light on a practical opportunity.
TUESDAY - Venus in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius.
This is about a powerful attraction, conversation, idea, etc. This is deep pull. The kind of attraction that feels like recognition, whether in love, money or creative work. Something moves us at an almost soul level. The trine makes it feel almost effortless, which is also its own kind of danger, because Pluto's gifts always come WITH A PRICE attached.
WEDNESDAY - Now Venus squares the Nodes of Fate.
Whatever felt so intoxicating under Venus/Pluto may not actually be leading us where we're supposed to go. The square to the North Node is a classic "but is this actually good for you?" moment. Desire and destiny may NOT BE ALIGNED. There's a choice here. Maybe a pivot. Multiple options but maybe none that feel quite right and still there may be a Venusian choice to be made (collectively this will be about relationships, values, resources and money). Your natal Gemini house theme will tell a more complete story.
FRIDAY - WEEKLY PEAK - Full Moon in Scorpio with Mercury conjunct Chiron and Venus sextiling Saturn.
Venus/Saturn is the stabilizer. After the emotional surge of the Full Moon - which will have its own post - and hard truth, something becomes realistic and grounded. Maybe a decision firms up. A boundary is set. A reality sets in. A commitment becomes clear or maybe something is consciously ended. Something moves from - what do I feel? - to what am I actually going to do? This is more practical than passionate. At the same time Mercury nearing the end of Aries catches up with Chiron. Words can hurt/hit an old wound or maybe we are talking about the thing that hurts.
This is also the day of a BIG FULL MOON IN SCORPIO, which will have its own post. Full Moons illuminate what was hidden, and this one will have no patience for bullsh*t. What was seductive under Tuesday's Pluto trine might look very different under the Full Moon's harsh light. Scorpio won't let us look away. Expect a BIG POST.
Then SATURDAY - Mercury moves into Taurus.
Our words/thinking slow down and become more grounded and deliberate. The mental tempo slows. Our nervous system settles. For some people this will be about LIVING THE DECISION WE JUST MADE. Simplify what you are digesting/absorbing/eating/saying. It's a time to speak less and mean more.
By the end of this week Mercury will be in Taurus (until May 17th) and in mutual reception with Venus in Gemini. Taurus and Gemini (and Virgo and Libra) things and people, and all of us actually, WILL BENEFIT. Exhale everyone. April is over.
OK - I am a bit swamped today with chart readings and luckily for me the astro is cooperating and this week seemed to write itself. Back with that Full Moon and we'll add in some current events.
