TUESDAY - Moon comes home to Cancer and sextiles the Sun (waxing) then squares Neptune
WEDNESDAY - Moon in Cancer squares Saturn, Mars and Mercury then meets Jupiter
THURSDAY - Venus conjuncts Uranus, Moon in Cancer sextiles Venus and Uranus then moves into Leo trines Neptune and squares the Sun in Taurus (first quarter square 3 degrees Leo)
FRIDAY - Venus enters Gemini, Moon in Leo opposes Pluto then trines Saturn, Mars and Mercury
SATURDAY - Uranus enters Gemini, Sun squares Pluto, Moon in Virgo squares Uranus
SUNDAY - Vernus sextile Neptune, Mercury square Jupiter, Pallas enters Aries, Moon in Virgo squares Venus and then trines the Sun in Taurus (waxing trine)
This is an incredibly charged week. Let's just jump right in and then I will think it out at the end.
MONDAY - compression and clarity - Mercury conjunct Saturn/Mars, Gemini Moon sextiles the trio and Juno conjuncts Pluto
This is focused, disciplined and no-nonsense thinking. MENTAL INTENSITY. Keep in mind Mars and Saturn are launching a NEW TWO-YEAR CYCLE, so what we have going on now is important. Mercury/Saturn is about serious conversations, truth checks, reality-based thinking. Mercury/Mars is about sharp words, decisive action, speaking what’s been building. Mars wants to go and Saturn wants us to stop and think this through, and Mercury comes in to help.
Commitments made now will be STICKY. Hastily shooting off an angry email this week will have consequences that stretch out for two years! Keep this in mind. Juno meets Pluto and speaks of relationships forged through intense life and death situations/maybe an actual death. This could be the end of a contract/partnership or some kind of written in blood style commitment. Big commitment energy right now, so know what you are getting into.
The Gemini Moon (answering to Mercury) sextiles everything and says - there is some kind of opportunity here.
Luna tries to dial down the temperature/brings options. Still this day is designed for us to SAY THE HARD THING. MAKE THE DECISON. DRAW THE LINE. This is not a Gemini Moon's usual light chit chat, although it can pull in more than one theme and help lighten things up - this is about words with consequences. WATCH YOUR WORDS - we are committing to something here. It's really a blessing to have Mercury come in at this important Mars/Saturn alignment (which happens about every two years, but not with Mercury!) - we can see what is happening, we can ask questions, we can think about it, we can talk about it.
TUESDAY - emotional return then fog rolls in - Moon enters Cancer sextiles the Sun (now in Taurus) and squares Neptune
The Moon comes home to Cancer turning our attention to home/security/memory. She is in emotional alignment with the Taurus Sun and gives us a kind of 'soft landing' feeling/something just fits. Her follow-up square to Neptune brings some kind of tension/frustration with escape/confusion/longing. We are not used to a Moon in Cancer squaring Neptune in Aries - we haven't had these since the 1800's - so we will have to see what this feels like!
WEDNESDAY - a pressure cooker and release - the Cancer Moon squares Mercury/Saturn/Mars and then conjunct Jupiter
This is an EMOTIONAL PEAK. Here is where the Moon hits all that Monday mental intensity. We feel now what we decided/read/thought/said/heard then. Luna's follow-up meeting with Jupiter speaks of expansion and a wider perspective. So maybe this is something like - we feel something fully and that allows something to OPEN. Emotional overwhelm brings us clarity. Maybe that hard conversation or information broke something open. Maybe there is some kind of realization, and we have a better understanding of our immediate situation/stress.
THURSDAY - the Plot Twist - Venus conjunct Uranus and the Moon shifts from Cancer to Leo and squares the Sun giving us this month's First Quarter Square
This is a pivot point.
Venus/Uranus is about surprises and disruptions in love, money, values, relationships. Uranus can provide a wake-up call in regard to what we have, and what we earn. This is Venus's 8th and final meeting with Uranus in her home sign (in our lifetime unless we are going to live another 80 years) over the past eight years and this time with both planets at the final 29th anaretic degree, something might feel like it is now or never. There is pressure. Sudden attractions, sudden exits, sudden realizations. Breakthroughs. Breakdowns. Break-ups. Changes with money. Changes with resources/the planet. Changes with beauty and what we value. Women doing shocking things. AVOID IMPULSE PURCHASES.
Venus will meet Uranus and then they will move into Gemini within hours of each other over the next couple days. Venus/Aphrodite is the gift birthed from the sea following Uranus's castration by his Sun Saturn/Kronos (there is some kind of Melana/stellium in Taurus and Venus on Algol and Trump/playing Uranus and Algol midheaven thing probably playing out here, but I have zero interest in looking into them).
At the same time, we are getting our First Quarter Square Moon - Luna's first tension/frustration that we MUST TAKE ACTION WITH - after last week's Aries New Moon. This is Leo/Taurus so tension between the urge to risk/play/stand out and the need to play it safe and be comfortable. With the Venus/Uranus square happening at the same time - security is probably feeling paramount, but also the need for liberation. Leo's need for attention/apprecation/fun MUST be met, so let's allow ourselves some constructive outlet for this or it might squeeze out sideways and undermine us.
FRIDAY - integration through expression - Venus enters Gemini and the Moon in Leo opposes Pluto, then trines Saturn/Mars/Mercury
Venus enters Gemini - we are more attractive to different options, humor, chatting/keeping things light. Gemini Suns and risings become more attractive, too - both attracting what they want and attractive to others. All our natal Gemini houses are more MAGNETIC. The Moon's opposition to Pluto speaks of power struggles, maybe especially within groups - emotional intensity. Something can feel like life and death even when it isn't. Luna's follow-up trines to the Saturn/Mars/Mercury posse can brings smooth flow/grounding and PRODUCTIVE EXPRESSION. We want to avoid being pulled into drama here. Stand in your own shoes/your center. Use your voice. Speak from your chest not your throat. There is some kind of creative integration of emotional truth happening.
BIG STUFF. Uranus's move into Gemini will speed things up. This is about long-term changes with communication, tech, transportation, information/perception THIS WILL HAVE ITS OWN POST. Note - we had a sneak-peek preview of Uranus in Gemini last summer/fall. Sun/Pluto is again about power struggles. Fear. Ego death. Tension/frustration within groups or group narratives. Let's avoid reacting from fear or ego here. The Moon in stable Virgo's square to Uranus during transition is literally our nervous systems being disrupted/activated. We talked HERE about ways to ground when the ground is literally moving beneath our feet. Plans change. Stay flexible. Rigidity will feel like snapping. If some kind of 'alien/artificial tech thing' is coming to life, well ... I guess this day will matter to "it". Uranus will be in Gemini until 2033.
SUNDAY - a softening plus an overreach check - Venus sextile Neptune, Mercury square Jupiter and the Moon moves through Virgo
A gentle but slightly exaggerated landing. Venus/Neptune speaks of compassion, beauty, forgiveness, creative flow. Mercury/Jupiter is about big ideas … but possibly overpromising or overthinking. Luckily the Virgo Moon can bring it back down to earth. So, we can DREAM, but we must EDIT. This day speaks of heartfelt conversations, creative inspiration and emotional/spiritual connection. Just watch any tendency to go too far/too fast or too big.
Think of someone - we'll call her Anna.
Let's say - and this is just an example, and things can't be timed so precisely, but let's say - on Monday she has a conversation she’s been avoiding. Something that says, “This isn’t working the way it is.” Maybe this is with another person or with herself. Maybe no drama or maybe some drama or maybe lots of drama. Any way some kind of truth LANDS. On Tuesday, she second-guesses it. Did she say too much? Not enough? She wants comfort, maybe even to rewind the words, but she can’t get back to where she was. On Wednesday, her emotions catch up with her. There’s a moment - maybe tears, maybe frustration or anger - where she feels the weight of what was said or decided. Then something opens like, “Oh… this is actually about more than just this situation." Thursday brings the plot twist. A message. A realization. A shift in someone else’s behavior. Or even just her own internal snap into clarity. Something sudden and disruptive and it changes her trajectory. On Friday, maybe she starts talking it out. With a friend, in her journal or maybe even with the person involved if someone else is. There’s intensity, but also a surprising kind of steadiness. Maybe she’s not as shaken as she thought she’d be. On Saturday, the bigger picture hits. She sees how this connects to a larger pattern in her life. There might be tension - even external pressure - but also a sense that something inevitable is unfolding. Sunday, she softens. There is not backtracking but there is integration. Grace. Maybe even compassion for herself and others. "I don’t know exactly where this is going (remember the New Moon cycle we are in, we do before we know) … but I know I’ve crossed a line I won’t uncross." She double checks herself when her words/thinking get too big. She keeps her feet on the ground. She knows time is on her side. And what this situation is for our girl Anna - well, we don't know without her natal chart, and we don't know how important what she has going on is either.
Collectively/politically expect twists and turns.
This is less about 'what is going to happen' than it is about THIS IS THE ENERGY WE ARE MOVING THROUGH. It's unstable enough that multiple things can shift quickly. EARLY WEEK - I would expect things to be highly REACTIVE. Governments/leaders taking firm positions. Statements being made. Rulings. Language becomes sharper/more definitive. This isn't about 'the final word' but something is set into motion. Keep in mind we have talked about the history of this April timeframe and its significance. MID WEEK - the Cancer Moon is activating everything, so the public is feeling whatever is going on. Emotional responses. Protective instincts. Security concerns. Issues around home/safety/belonging. Reactions. Backlash. Support. THEN THE WILDCARD (Venus/Uranus) - financial markets react, relationship/alliances between nations can shift, there are unexpected developments. This isn't necessarily something bad but it's destabilizing enough to REDIRECT ATTENTION. Then by the END OF THE WEEK as Uranus changes signs (acceleration of tech conversations, etc - we will talk about this in the next post - look ahead to July). This is about who controls information/how fast things are changing/what can and cannot be trusted. This is probably more of a threshold moment than a news headline, but with Trump playing Uranus there could be headlines. Then the Venus/Neptune and Mercury/Jupiter attempts to soften things. Explain. Reframe. There can be big narratives and competing storylines. Hope. Confusion. This is kind of like the meaning-making that comes after a disruption - but NOT ALL OF IT WILL BE TRUE OR ACCURATE.
OK, so this is a big week, and I know we are burnt out by big weeks. April is not an easy month. And 2026 is not an easy year. We are navigating very intense energies, and we each have our piece of the pie to work with, some pieces are larger than others, so we'll work with it. Hang in there. Stay strong and smart.

It will bring us back to the AI stranger danger stuff that is getting lost in the sauce through collective events (not for long though) but is actually the BIG PIVOTAL thing happening under the covers .... as always keep in mind that things can be felt as they apply and unwind, so dates are not exactly when things will transpire, but when the aspects are most exact.
