So, where are we now?
The outer planets are holding their form. Mars has moved into a square with Venus. Saturn has started to back up - second chances next year/use this time well. The Sun opposes Pluto replacing Jupiter and forming the handle of the "basket" with Neptune and Uranus briefly. This should be more echo than repeat. Then the Sun will catch up with Jupiter (!) in Leo as the Moon opposes from Aquarius giving us this year's Full Moon in Aquarius. The North Node is now in Aquarius, too, but the Full Moon is not close enough to the North Node for an Eclipse ... yet.
It's ANOTHER BIG WEEK though.
Monday is last week's 'aftershock' arriving in miniature - fast and personal. Wednesday is the moment that aftershock either inflates into something real or just ... inflates.
MONDAY - Sun opposes Pluto, Sun trine Neptune, Sun sextile Uranus
Last week the giants did this - Jupiter opposed Pluto, trined Neptune and sextiled Uranus, a slow-motion detonation spread across a day and a half, big enough that the sky itself seemed to need the extra hours to say it. Now, the Sun (us, our ego, our light) steps into the same three doorways and closes them in an afternoon!
What takes the planet of expansion (Jupiter) thirty-six hours to metabolize, the Sun - small, fast, personal - can do before dinner.
Pluto as always asks what we're willing to lose. Neptune asks what we're willing to believe. Uranus asks what we're willing to let go sideways instead of controlling.
Jupiter could afford to ask these questions at a comfortable pace, philosophically, because that is what Jupiter does. The Sun doesn't have that luxury. The Sun is us. When it stands in the same degree field the giants just finished rearranging, the questions stop being about the collective and start being about Monday.
Expect a compressed, almost overclocked day - an ending (Pluto), a knowing that arrives without evidence (Neptune), a door that opens itself (Uranus) and all before we've finished our coffee (or tea).
WEDNESDAY - Venus squares Mars, Sun conjunct Jupiter, FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS
Venus squares Mars first. This is brief friction, wanting and having briefly out of step with each other. Rough edges. What we want and what we have to do to get it at odds.
The Sun conjoins Jupiter. This is optimism. Confidence. Expansion, Even good luck. And the Full Moon in Aquarius doesn't just oppose the Sun the way Full Moons do because happening at 6-degrees to Jupiter's 5-degrees, it's effectively lit by both of them. This is not your standard illumination-of-the-instincts/howling-in-your-pajamas Full Moon.

This is a Full Moon standing in the glare of expansion itself, asking what EXACTLY, is being made BIGGER, and for whom.
Aquarius is fixed air and won't ask this quietly.
Is this expansion in service of the tribe, or in service of the self who is wearing the tribe's colors?
Sun/Jupiter conjunctions are notoriously hard to read from inside them because they feel like clarity, like rightness, like of course this is true and important, precisely because Jupiter inflates conviction along with everything else. Our little guy has Jupiter in his third house and, at three years old, his favorite expression was, "I know". Even though he didn't/couldn't :)
The Aquarius Moon opposite is doing us a favor by making us look at it/whatever "it" is, from outside, under someone else's light, before we commit.
Coming just a couple days after Monday's compressed "inheritance" from last week, Wednesday is where we find out whether what got closed, believed and let loose was real or was just the ego borrowing the giants' momentum and mistaking it for his own.
The South Node has just crossed into Leo (that post will be after the Full Moon), the North into Aquarius, and we're at the start of an eighteen-month unwinding of a very old habit which is likely something like - needing the witness/audience to make the thing real. Dammit I am going to miss those breakfast selfies!
With Jupiter turning up the volume on everything nearby, we get a kind of preview of that whole transit compressed into a single day, so let's WATCH WHAT WE REACH FOR TO CONFIRM THAT MONDAY WAS REAL - see examples below.
That reach is the South Node's gravity. It's not a character flaw - it's Leo's job to ask whether what we make works in the world/is appreciated. This isn't a bad thing, but Aquarius, where the North Node is, is quietly offering the harder/better version. Certainty that doesn't need an audience to be true. Generosity that doesn't need a witness to be worth giving. This is how the world once worked, and we have forgotten and now it's time to remember.
Let's think through a couple EXAMPLES of how this might play out.
The Pluto ending. Say Monday brings a real closure. You end a working relationship, walk away from a project, cut a client, stop calling someone back, etc. Pluto oppositions don't ask permission. Something just DIES. By Wednesday, Sun conjunct Jupiter under an Aquarius Full Moon asks - um, was that ending necessary or did it just feel powerful to be the one who ended it?
Real Pluto closure will hold up even under Jupiterian expansion - we look at it Wednesday and it's still obviously correct, maybe even more obviously correct with some Aquarius distance. Ego-borrowed closure inflates into a story. The clean cut becomes a dramatic reveal. The quiet decision becomes something we're already narrating to other people as decisive and bold. If we notice ourselves performing the ending on Wednesday more than we actually experienced it on Monday, that's the tell. And with the South Node in Leo and North Node in Aquarius we are going to be running something like this on repeat (not the ending, but the drama) for the next 18 months until we figure out how to be REAL with this stuff either again or for once.
The Neptune belief. Say Monday's trine hands us a conviction/surety that arrives without evidence. We have a sense that something is true, that a person is trustworthy, that a direction is right and we can't quite say how we know.
Real Neptune knowing tends to stay quiet under pressure, again, it doesn't need Wednesday's audience. Borrowed Neptune knowing needs to be shared. It wants Jupiter's MICROPHONE. If by Wednesday the belief has turned into something we're evangelizing, defending or building a whole plan around before we've even tested it once against reality, that's Jupiter doing what Jupiter does to Neptune - magnifying it. The Aquarius Moon's job is to ask, again from a little distance, "does this hold up outside your own head," which is exactly the question an inflated belief can't survive.
The Uranus release. Monday's sextile is a door that opens sideways, or we let something go without a fight or a change arrives that doesn't cost us anything to accept. The risk Wednesday isn't that this was fake, it's that Jupiter turns "I let this go easily" into "I am now a person who transcends attachment, blah/blah/blah, you get the picture, some kind of annoying therapy dribble" - a self-concept rather than a single lived moment.
Real release will stay specific. It is one door, one thing. Ego-inflated release generalizes into identity by Wednesday, usually loudly ... usually to an audience.
