weekly astrology forecast | July13th - July 19th, 2026 - first FIVE days up will be back to finish! THIRD UPDATE

Back to finish up!

This is a week when it will help if we can distinguish between what is changing and what is simply REVEALING ITSELF. Almost everything is already in place. There are very few sign changes. Instead, the planets spend the week activating relationships that have been building for days and weeks and months. By the time Jupiter opposes Pluto, it feels less like the beginning of a story and more like the moment the lights come up and everyone finally sees the stage they've been standing on. I hope this makes sense!

MONDAY - Venus squares Uranus and inconjuncts Neptune and Pluto (both retrograde), Moon in Cancer squares Neptune (retrograde) and Saturn

Monday looks surprisingly slippery although I have found Uranian (the future) aspects often have already happened by the time they are exact.

Squares are tension/frustration that require some kind of action. Venus is trying to organize life through practical choices - budgets, relationships, health, values, work - Uranus comes in to liberate us from perfectionism/trying to fix the unfixable/servitude/chores that don't belong to us. Venus/Uranus situations speak of DISRUPTIONS that push us to re-assess finances, relationships, self-esteem/value situations.

The good news for us is that Uranus isn't in fixed Earth Taurus anymore, he is in mutable air Gemini now and here's where the mutable signs soften the blow. Nothing has to be torn down, walked out on or returned to the store. There are options/work arounds. Virgo's trap is mistaking smallness for virtue. Gemini's gift is showing us there was always another way to read the story. The relationship, the budget, the self-assessment - nothing has to be torn down.

What changes is the version of "correct" we've been living by.

The Neptune inconjunct asks us to adjust expectations because reality and fantasy are no longer occupying the same room. The Pluto inconjunct reminds us that some power dynamics cannot simply be "worked around." These are adjustment aspects. Venus in Virgo wants a clean house, but the world keeps moving the furniture! The Cancer Moon only amplifies this. Cancer seeks emotional security, but her aspects to Saturn and Neptune today expose where our feeling of safety rests on foundations that are either dissolving or in the process of being rebuilt.

The Moon is balsamic before tomorrow's New Moon and Balsamic Moons are times to rest lest we be frazzled and burned out when the Moon begins waxing/growing in a couple days and we need our wits about us.

TUESDAY - New Moon in Cancer - post is HERE.

WEDNESDAY - Uranus sextiles Neptune, Leo Moon is activating the "basket/cradle" configuration

The Leo Moon is doing today what Jupiter and the Sun will do later! Luna is kind of 'testing' each part of the pattern. This might be the most important day astrologically.

Uranus perfects its sextile to Neptune while the Leo Moon spends the day activating almost every outer planet. The Moon sextiles Uranus. Trines Neptune. Opposes Pluto. Sextiles Mars. Ends by trining Saturn.

EMOTIONALLY, we experience the geometry we've been talking about intellectually.

For a few hours, the Moon moves like a thread stitching together nearly every long-term collective force. It's not like the future suddenly shows up - although it might for some. More likely something becomes visible. Certainly this is a day to take action. The Leo Moon is also significant because Leo rules leadership, identity, creativity and our heart. The Neptune/Uranus sextile pulls our Aries and Aquarius houses together via the planet of spirituality, imagination, connection, grace and illusion and the planet of change, the future, groups, technology and intellect.

We are emotionally rehearsing what Jupiter will spend the next year expanding and the South Node will spend the next year and a half emptying out!

THURSDAY - the Moon in Leo makes a brief Grand Fire Trine (in the a.m. EDT) with Pallas/Vesta in Aries and Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius then goes void for the rest of the day.

With all the BIG astrology happening/coming it's probably a good idea to take a look at this.

PALLAS - Pallas isn't just about strategy.  She's the wisdom to recognize patterns and respond creatively rather than reactively. In Aries she isn't waiting for permission or consensus. She sees and she acts. She is sitting with VESTA who tends what is worth tending, In Aries Vesta's sacred flame becomes intensely personal. This is not about maintaining traditions for tradition's sake. This is about protecting the spark that belongs uniquely to usBLACK MOON LILITH - I've never been satisfied with reducing BML to "the rejected feminine." As lunar apogee, she describes the Moon at her greatest distance from Earth. There is something psychologically important about that symbolism (and I have seen her space in our chart connect over and over again to our mother's pregnancy). I see Black Moon Lilith as the place where we learned, THIS IS THE PART OF YOU THAT CANNOT SAFELY BELONG. The specifics depend on your natal sign and house. In Sag, BML speaks of being shamed for asking too many questions, being a 'know it all', challenging family beliefs. This is the one who was made to feel guilty for wanting freedom, education, travel, faith, philosophy even though this is something we are totally entitled to wanting. The wound is something like - if I become fully myself, I will lose my place (ie get tossed from the garden). BML healing is always about self-acceptance. Healing isn't proving those qualities are acceptable. It's deciding they were never wrong to begin with!

So maybe we can see the Grand Fire Trine as this conversation between all these women. And, yes I see them drinking CUPS OF TEA, I vote to bring back the cup :) Pallas says - trust what you know. Vesta says - protect what matters. Lilith says - stop apologizing for who you are. Then the Moon in Leo receives all three and maybe asks the hardest question of all - will you actually live this truth where other people can see it? That's a different thing than simply believing it.

And then the BASKET building/asking - what will humanity do with so much POTENTIAL??

But first the Moon must make all the moves Jupiter and the Sun will later make and take this long void. A void Moon is a period when the world stops providing immediate feedback. We have to act from what we already know rather than from constant reassurance/feedback.

The Goddesses in fire are COOPERATING - see clearly, tend faithfully, stop abandoning yourself! Then we need to walk forward, even if no one immediately confirms we're on the right path/and we almost surely won't know if we are or we aren't - remember with Saturn in Aries we have to start before we are ready. The old have to be young and the young have to be old.

And maybe a better image than an afternoon tea - is three elder women standing at the edge of a forest, each placing a gift into a traveler's hands before she continues her journey alone. It suggests that before the noise of Jupiter, Pluto, Uranus and Neptune dominate the landscape, the sky quietly reminds us that the deepest guidance may come from the oldest feminine intelligences.

FRIDAY - The Moon arrives in Virgo and conjuncts Venus, squares Uranus and Mars. The squares can be irritation, interruption, the tool that breaks mid-task. Mars square from Gemini and Uranus square from Gemini means the friction is verbal, scattered, electric - too many tabs open, someone talking over the work. But Virgo reminds us that meaningful change rarely arrives fully assembled. We keep going.  This is the week's second reminder that the enormous can only ever happen through the particular ... the basket is tightening.

Back with the rest of the week!
