how "we are in business to make a profit" is like living to eat ...

Hearing "we are in business to make a profit" usually makes me want to retch

(and I have done some serious retching this winter - trust me, it ain't pretty people although on the plus side I still sound a little bit like Demi Moore)

in fact it makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

(yes, it's going to be one of those posts)

This is not the same as saying "to stay in business we must make a profit" which is quite obvious and makes the profit a necessity rather than a goal.

Think of profit like food.

We need food to survive, but we are not surviving so we can eat .. I hope.

I tell myself, "that's it! Not one more astrology post until you write 5 posts about something else!", then I write another astrology post.

They are like potato chips, I can't stop.

This blog now has 1000 posts in almost 8 years. It's totally mind boggling. I've blogged my work, total nonsense, giveaways, tutorials, interviews, Etsy, biz advice, blah, blah, blah. I must have set some kind of record for long winded rambles.

Not that many posts are about astrology, but for the last year it's been almost all astrology all of the time. It could be worse poor reader, at least it's a hobby worth talking about - imagine if I were stamp collecting! It would be all philatelics and gum conditions (what?!) and centering - see you are luckier than you thought you were!

Astrology Forecast for Creatives - Week of February 9th - today: production and groundhog day style do-overs

Ugh - I've had no internet since Saturday night. Bypassing my router, which didn't work yesterday, is suddenly working, so fingers crossed I stay online. I'm writing a quickie about today and tomorrow now and will expand this post later to include the rest of the week.

The energy looks easy, peasy - it's all Pisces, all the time. The downside - it could make it hard for us to stay on task. We might look back on Friday and realize nothing got done. Set daily goals and stay on top of them if you don't want this to happen. If your schedule allows a little drifting now, go ahead and drift. If you're sick this week, you probably won't miss much.

Full Moon in Leo, February 3rd - time to ROAR!

Think about what a Full Moon looks like - it's the brightest moon; a completely lit circle. There is nothing obscured in the shadows, everything is visible.

During the full moon, something comes to light.

In February the Full Moon is called the Snow Moon, you can probably guess why and also the Hunger Moon

(because by this time of year our ancestors provisions were running low and their tummies were rumbling - this is built into our DNA - we are hungering for something, too, now).

This month our Sun is in Aquarius so we know the Full Moon is in Aquarius's polarity sign of Leo.
