WEEKLY ASTROLOGY FORECAST | MARCH 11TH TO 17TH, 2024 - drifting through dreamland or up the creek without a paddle, creativity can soar although our energy level might not keep up

A very Neptunian week as we float along on the changing waters of Sunday's New Moon.

The week begins with Venus's entry into Pisces, something is ELEVATED (maybe it's us) and ends with the Sun's conjunction to Neptune as the Sun squares the Moon. Gemini/Pisces. Overdo things and get sick. Expect too much of yourself right now and slip up. Or drift off course too much/get too lazy and get a call, conversation, information, errand, something that pulls you back to reality. Maybe multiple somethings. Maybe quickly.

Take a breath when you can this week folks, use your energy creatively, because Eclipse season is coming and we are going to need all the oxygen we can get :)

MONDAY - Venus enters Pisces

SUNDAY - Sun conjunct Neptune, First Quarter Moon Gemini

MONDAY Venus (art, beauty, women, values, money) moves into Pisces (imagination, dreams, compassion, connection) today, settles into a comfy spot at the Pisces party.

She is the most beautiful woman in the room and the space in each of us that carries the energy of attraction. Mars goes after what he wants, Venus draws it to her. Her fierce beauty (I wouldn't dare call her pretty and she quite often isn't) has toppled empires and created dynasties.

Pisces Sun people and Pisces rising people become more attractive now, (how have we never noticed how blue your eyes are or how deep your voice?). All of our Pisces houses become more attractive, too. And all of us attract what we want by working through Pisces - our Pisces natal house theme and through our ability to show compassion, create beauty, honor feelings, stay emotionally open, use our imaginations. In Aquarius it was our differences that attracted people and situations to us, in Pisces it is our ability to believe and honor our commonality.

Venus is exalted in Pisces. Her love/charm is endless. She can work her magic here. She expands relationships, money and self-esteem. Opportunities increase. Resistance dissolves.

The tricky part of Venus in Pisces is we need to know what we want now. We need to know our values. Our lines in the sand. Because the lines between us and other people, between acceptance and avoidance, between our money and their money, between love and "what the f* was I thinking?!" - will blur.

In Pisces, things that look too good to be true usually almost always are. And what flows in can flow right back out again.

But if we set boundaries - what is ok, what is not ok, and with Saturn in Pisces, too, this is going to take EFFORT - and release our expectations that outcomes must go a specific way - this is wonderful energy for more beauty, love and money to move into our lives.

Venus will be in Pisces until April 5th.

SUNDAY - here is where the Sun, following the Moon from last week's New Moon, finally makes his own meeting with Neptune.

Having the Sun conjunct Neptune in Pisces while he is answering to Neptune is not the same as having the Sun blow out a planet (in this case Neptune) by eclipsing him. Neptune is still strong here. I think we get the best of Neptune - the transcendence, without the mind-blowing bullsh*t. Our rose-colored glasses lose their rose-colored tinting while somehow still retaining their rose-coloring abilities. Does this make sense? An enlightened Neptune gets the solar light of the Sun. Illusions burned away or our heart lost in delusion? Either way our big idealized dream is endorsed/seen by the Sun/our heart/the king. Great for making art, meditating, healing, spirituality. This aspect can be exhausting though - get some extra sleep. It may not be until Venus catches up with Saturn at the Spring Equinox on March 21st that we can see what we really have attracted.

With Neptune and the Sun our boundaries and egos DISSOLVE. We merge with the everything and we merge with the nothing. Neptune pushes us off the road and into the fog until we are forced to climb up on the roof of our car/raise ourselves higher to see what the hell is going on. Neptune raises the bar for what is POSSIBLE.

The tricky part with Sun/Neptune is that easy flow into  delusion or self-sabotage and victim consciousness. Sun/Neptune is REALLY about having pride or fun with something that transcends traditional success. We put something or someone else ahead of us, allow that there is something bigger than us or give something up WITHOUT being a victim.

At the same time, the Moon, moves into a square with the Sun.

This is her/our First Quarter Square - tension/frustration - with the New Moon's plotline. The Moon is in Gemini now - nurtured by change and choices and duality and words and being busy. The Sun, still in Pisces, and doubling down with Neptune, says hold on there Luna, I still want to SLEEP!

So, either we have this Moon waking us from our slumber - TIME TO GET GOING, and keep in mind the Moon is waxing - or we have the Sun - raining on our parade, asking us to rest or relax, hitting the snooze button. Either way there is some kind of balance needed between busy and rest or between our Gemini and Pisces house themes or between talking and listening or between two and maybe ... none.

xo all

The Moons for most of this week have good closing aspects - all's well that ends well - until next weekend's Gemini Moon that closes out with a square to Neptune and the Sun. Take your vitamins.

Nice to have a quiet week to write about, so I can get some Libra Eclipse stuff up this week. How are those imbalanced relationships coming along? How is your relationship with yourself?
