On Saturday, February 1st, Venus reaches 27 degrees Pisces, the sign of her EXALTATION, and meets Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces. Then, she reaches 28 degrees Pisces and meets the North Node of Fate/destiny. The Moon, in Pisces now, after Monday's big New Moon in Aquarius, is doing EXACTLY the same thing.
Now, this isn't a one-day thing and has been applying for a few days and will spend a few days unwinding. This is also an aspect that is going to REPEAT itself - and this is just the first of three. The first meeting matters/first impressions always COUNT. Provide the set-up. And, the Moon is here to be sure we feel this. The Moon, like Mars, can act as a trigger. It pulls the whole thing into our life, our emotional frequency, our PERSONAL STORY.

This is Venus - ruler of Taurus and Libra - love, money, relationships, our resources, our values, our self-esteem, women, beauty, and Neptune. Neptune rules the ocean, the seas, sleep, our dreams (both the dreams when we are sleeping and the dreams when we are awake), the unconscious, the subconscious, our inter-connectedness, flow, imagination, compassion, meditation, medication, illusion, deception, lies, addiction, alcohol, exhaustion, escape, baptism, sacrifice, spirituality, detox, faith, psychology, mental health, mental illness, intuition, mysticism, fantasy, the ethereal realms (things that cannot be seen, touched, tasted or heard with our five senses), art, dance, music, film, chemicals, drugs, poison, ghosts, victim, martyr, saint, religion, Christ-like, fanaticism, hospitals, healing, research, confusion, retreats, release, isolation, orphans, nursing homes, retirement, our feet, vision, karma, hidden enemies, what is hidden, what we do in secret, lack of boundaries, the 12th house of our charts (things we do last, things that are put away, our subconscious, our undoing, all the things above), past-lives, the house that holds Pisces in our charts.
Conjunctions - when two planets/points MEET are like New Moons - they are beginnings. So, we get this powerful Venus/Neptune story (in Pisces, so we end where we start) at almost the end of the very last sign.
Love at long last. The money just when we need it. A GOOD ENDING. The North Node involved with anything, says, "this is destiny". This is for the best.
Venus is what we want and the Moon/the past pulls in WHAT WE NEED. This is strong Goddess energy.
Pisces is the last sign/our final stop. It's where we LET GO, sometimes because there is nothing else to be done. It is out of our hands.
What can we let go of to free up some space for the good stuff we have ALREADY lined up with to find us? Sometimes in Pisces a sacrifice is required. Or something dissolves/disappears. If something like this is happening, with the North Node here we are ASSURED this is all happening for the right reason. THIS is the way forward.
The caveat with all of this is that Neptune is tricky. This is all about water and water is confusing, even delusional. Things look bigger/better, or sometimes worse, than they actually are.
By the third time Venus catches up with the North Node of Fate - that third week of April - sober Saturn will have replaced dreamy Neptune. There will be ground beneath our feet. We will see what is real because we will be holding it.
In the meantime, it is into the 'funhouse' for us, as we manage this early part of 2025.
Just keep in mind that Neptune is an outer planet. It is not just about us and if we try to make it all about us it isn't very likely to work/to be sticky. Whatever floats in will just float right back on out. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, but if you are trying to build something STICKY now, it is something important to think about.
IT WON'T WORK IF IT'S ALL ABOUT US.
Doing it 'for the money' will get us some money and then that money will be gone. Neptune is transpersonal/requires a BIGGER PURPOSE. That 'perfect person' or situation we attract can turn out to be just an illusion, and this isn't a bad thing either (lesson learned), but just something to keep in mind.
Something bigger than ourselves is at play and PLAY IT WILL.
Two days ago, with all of this in play, and on the New Moon at 9 degrees Aquarius conjunct the infamous "sky-faller" Icarus and on a degree connected to 'falling', that we talked about HERE, a plane crashed over Washington DC. Tragically everyone in both aircraft involved have died. Fourteen of the people on board the plane were United States figure skaters. On February 14th, 1961, during another New Moon in Aquarius a plane carrying the entire United States Figure Skating Team also crashed. That time over Brussels, Belgium. Icarus was at 9 degrees Aquarius that day, too. Uranus, the planet of chaos and trauma, was at 23 degrees Leo, so exactly square the 23 degrees Taurus he was this time. Mars now was conjunct the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction then and also retrograde/repeating. Mars was on an Aries point - first degree of a cardinal sign when public events draw our collective attention - during that first New Moon/crash at 0 degrees Cancer and this one was keyed into March's powerful Eclipse, and we have another tragedy. Figure skating feels very Venusian to me. The repeating astro patterns, falling women and the chaos in DC right now, creating a perfect storm. Maybe I will do a post one day when more information is out and it's not so raw ...
The best use of the Venus/Neptune/North Node is probably to be doing things you want to do with the people you want to do them with. Make art. Music. Connect. Dream. Make a vision board. Don't go too far with alcohol or medication, because we will already be farther than we think we are. But, also don't let fear stop you because Pisces is the sign of MIRACLES. Notice what comes to your attention now. Notice what moves you and whether you are drawn to it or repelled somewhere else by it. Rearrange things like furniture and inboxes to release stuck energy. Make space which is something Neptune needs and loves. Let something GO. Prayer will be super powerful. Know this energy is tricky. Not everything will be as it appears.
Hubs' birthday is February 1st, and this is all happening exact on his 27 degree Pisces descendent (other people/partner). I have the planet Neptune tightly conjunct my Ascendent and it's the focal point of a prominent T-Square in my chart, so I have been wary, due to Neptune's dissolving nature, of this transit of his, for ME.
Within the space of about two weeks I have:
1. gotten into a car with the wrong person 2. started running a bath, gone into another bathroom for towels and then taken a shower in the second bathroom forgetting I had the tub running in the first bathroom and only 'remembered' after a long hot shower when I heard the water running into the tub 3. and this is a long one - was in the local grocery just before closing time, so maybe around 9PM. It was very cold that night and I wasn't dressed to be out. Was wearing something like those pajama pants the kids wear. I was checking out and the cashier asked if I had one of their store discount cards. I said yes and reached into my pocket for my keys that the card is attached to. No keys. I reached around in my bag. No keys. I went back to the avocadoes and then the tomatoes and anywhere I thought I might have laid them down. No keys. I thought I would have to walk home and maybe I should buy a hat. I thought maybe I left them in my car. I went outside and NO CAR. I thought I left my keys in my car and someone has stolen my car. Then I hear this little beep. It's hubs. In his truck. I hadn't taken my car. I hadn't taken my keys. I was in the store for maybe 10 minutes and forgotten all of this. You can see why I am worried.
I have secretly rented a "gaming truck" for hub's birthday (this is a truck with a bunch of seats and video games - he loves video game). The most Neptunian thing I could think of, except I did this impulsively without really thinking at all, which seems to be how I operate these days. I am hoping it fits in the driveway and that the guests can figure out somewhere to park since I live on a main road with no nearby side streets. Give Neptune something to do is my mantra with Neptunian transits - all outer planet transits actually. A dozen or so people playing fantasy games in my driveway can maybe take some of the pressure off me. :)
Hopefully I am not setting myself up for an actual battle in my front yard when Saturn gets here ...
